Holly
I'm here, had to get off for a while. Was worth it though my brother won NRL tickets! To Bulldogs vs Dragons though Howdy =] Argh! Stupid school! I just wrote this whole long blog to my friend telling her to stay in school. She hasn't come to school for 3 weeks and shes been all over NSW 'finding new friends'. Shes moved out of home (she's 15), has no job and no way to support herself. Shes staying with people if she can otherwise shes just staying in parks and bus shelters. She's out all night drinking and doing drugs. Shes such an idiot but she said she might sign out of school and go to Tafe Stupid Stupid Girl. She cant sign out of school at 15 can she? I have a cousin who's sort of the same except shes now 17. I can't really talk about school seeing I left in Year 9 and went straight to TAFE. If you went stagiht to Tafe thats OK but shes not doing anything with her life. I dunno if she can sign out but she's not coming to school. Her sister did the same thing and her sister hasn't gone to Tafe or anything. I don't think she has a job or anything either Why did you leave school in year 9? Were you just really unhappy? I'm overweight so that always attracts teasing but more than that I was top of the class in yr7 so I copt it for being smart. Plus I had a lot of family problems and in the end I couldn't handle both lots so I was ready to quit. I was lucky I had my mum and she helped me get into a program that got me into TAFE and I did my CGVE (yr10) and most of my HSC at TAFE. Holly
Well it never really worried me till I got into Highschool, I pretty much lost all my friends then so I was a bit of a loner so the taunts got worse, and with things that had happened I lost most of my selfconfidence, which I still really haven't got back. But i'm doing well with weightloss, Ive gone down 2 dress sizes in 3 months. Edited March 14, 2006 by cutecow87
Kimmy
Thats great! How much weight have you lost? I've been dieting to and so far lost about 14kgs =] It's made a huge difference but I still got loads more to go. I also have heaps more energy when I'm exercising and stuff I'm lucky I have a great group of friends who accept everyone for who they are. We never turn away anyone. We're like the smart group but their are some people in our group who aren't smart but they just fit in well with everyone =]
Holly
Your lucky to have such great friends! I only really ever had one best friend and that was in yr6 but she had a bad life and when she got into yr7 fell into a bad crowd and last time I saw her she was a drug addict shacking up with a much older guy. Shame, she was such a great friend who had to put up with a lot. I haven't really had any friends since year 8/9 and its depressing sometimes but i'd rather have no friends than fake friends. I don't really know how much i've lost I refuse to weigh myself incase one week I don't loose anything. But I know by the way my clothes fit me and the comments I get that i'm doing well. I still have a long long way to go, I had to loose pretty much half of me.

Don't worry about not having many friends, i used to be like that the beggining of last year, but since i've went to sixth form i've made lots of friends but in my other school i didn't well a had a few but not that many. When i was in my old school i lost all hope, because i thought that people in my old school represented what most people are like but i was wrong, it was just a bad bunch of people. My advice is just be yourself, and if they don't like you then don't worry, you don't need them. Anyway, i guess this is what forums are for everyone is nice to each other and most of us get along quite well.
