Who wants to go and sit in a pub and talk German with a load of other English people? What is the effing point - they are English, I am English, lets have another round and talk in English! Quote

Yes and No. I found it was like english in ways but I couldn't handle the grammar. I hated how words had different verb endigs depending if it was masculine, feminine or neutral and I always picked the wrong one! I learnt french in yr 7 & 8 and although I can remember hardly any of it I enjoyed it. Quote
