TabbyCool Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 What operation is he having Di? Hope it all goes well Thank you guys Tom has scoliosis, which happens to most DMD boy/teens. His curve has gone from about 32% to 64+% in roughly in the last six/eight months. In the last eight weeks He and his curve has rapidly grown it has progressed so much, the whole of his bottom rib is been pushed out and is very visable, as his spine is twisting even more. He is having surgery to have two rods in his back. He will be left with a curve roughly about 20%. The operation is roughly nine hours long, he will need blood transfusions and ICU/HDU for 24/48 hours after. Hope it all goes well Quote

TabbyCool Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Good evening all... I was hoping someone would cheer me up after a crap day/night at work http://www.michounet.com/fatman/ I've seen that before, it's pretty amusing. Surely that has to cheer you up just a little Valk? Quote
.Cat. Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 And now, that guy is famous just 'cos of that one little video. Ive seen others videos with people doing that song, but none as good as that one. You'll also notice that song is in Chicken Little Quote
.Cat. Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 And if that doesnt cheer you up, here are some jokes (might be rude for some): A hunter kills a deer and brings it home. He decides to clean and serve it for supper. He knows his kids are fussy eaters, and won`t eat if they know what it is - so he does not tell them. His little boy keeps asking him, "what`s for supper?". "You`ll see", says his dad. They start eating supper and his daughter keeps asking what they are eating. "ok" says her dad, "here`s a hint, it`s what your mother sometimes calls me." "we`re eating a**hole!!", she screams. ------------------------------------------- A guy in a bar one night got really drunk, really, really drunk. When the bar closed, he got up unsteadily to go home. As he stumbled out the door, he saw a nun walking along. So he stumbled over to the nun and punched her in the face. The nun was really surprised, but before she could do or say anything, he punched her again, and this time she fell down. He stumbled over to her and kicked her, then he picked her up and threw her into a wall. By this time the nun was pretty weak and could barely move. So he stumbled over to her, put his face right next to hers and whispered....... "Not so tough tonight are you, Batman?" Quote
-*-_Free Spirit_-*- Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Aaaaaaaaah! I've had such a stressful week with college! I haven't got all my first year grades so I cant complete the course unless they're in along with my second year grades. So I've been into college today. I've made four journeys walking there and back and everytime the teacher has been too busy to see me. He knew I was coming in to get them. So he's put me in a right mood! They'll certainly know about this at my review next Monday. My dad's already threatened to sort them out about it. LOL!!! Quote
