buffygirl Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 A semester is a term of studying. I don't know about OZ, but in NZ semester 1 is from February until June and semester 2 is from July until October. Thanks see things are said in different context in the uk, i was curious. Quote
Holly Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Thats ok. If I start in Semester 2, I can take 1 year and a half instead of a year to do the course. So it takes a lot of the pressure off. And plus I'd probably do it through correspondence so I could still work. Quote
Mez83 Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Our semester 2 goes until November if you want to count end of year exams. But who really wants to do that? Quote
Emmadolly Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 That seem to be less preasure, thankgod i left school years ago. LOL Quote
Holly Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 lol Mez, deffinatley not. Yeah it is less pressure, but I'm happy I'm taking a break and going to take it over a year and a half, I don't think i'm ready for uni just yet. Quote
