Holly Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 *Pops head in. Seeing the room is empty she leaves a box of cookies on the table for Dean* Nice to see your back Dean!! Though I keep missing you. Quote
Jess Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 LOL. I can't believe you've finished, 'tis so not fair! I wanna move to Ireland! LOL Ah, but Jess... we've left school now! Yay! But in a weird kinda way I miss the structure of getting up, going to school, coming home, doing my homework, it just makes my day feel fragmented.....not that I'm complaining, I'll be back in September, I should be making the most of it! Cal: I've been to Dublin (we went on a day trip from Wales) and the Guiness factory rocked it's socks! LOL And I bet the weather there is way nicer than here - Wales is close to Ireland and during the summer it's like 25C every day! Lucky buggers. We finish around the week before Christmas and then the 40C days start rolling in. Ah.....so does your 'school year', so to speak, run from January to Christmas? How the hell do you cope in 40C? Everything grinds to a half here when we get above 25...and is it ever that hot (40C) when you go to school? I'd just want to flop in a freezer all the time! Quote

LOL And I bet the weather there is way nicer than here - Wales is close to Ireland and during the summer it's like 25C every day! The Guinness Factory smells so bad! I had to get off the bus when we went past the Guinness factory, I couldn't stand the smell! The weather in the East of Ireland is really good, it's sunny most of the year. The weather in the west of Ireland (Where I Live!!!), is rubbish! It rains 24/7. I lived in the east for 13 years, until Dad thought it was a great idea to tear me away from my natural habbitat, and drop me into a bog! I hate it over here! I wanna move back east! Quote
Jess Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 Awww! I think I have an unhealthy obsession with Guiness (not just drinking the stuff, but in general ). My parents have also been to Dublin on their own, well, I can't really go into detail here (Methinks GR is more appropriate) but lets just say they came back with more than a hang-over... I love my lil' brother to bits, but it just doesn't really bear thinking about.....eww......*nasty mental images* So in conclusion, they are never ever ever going to Dublin again on their own! And Cal, just out of interest, do you have a really cool Irish accent?? Quote

The North Dub accent is really rough. The south Dublin accent is POSH! The City Center Accent is plain and normal. I have the City Center accent. Quote
