I'm sure you'll do well too. I left less than half way through my statistics exam last year and still passed. What they don't tell you is that it's easier to pass on the higher paper than it is on the intermediate.

Way easier. xxx

Is the grading system the same in Ireland, just out of interest? ie A*, A, B, C, D, E?

It's a bit differant.

0-9 = NG (No Grade)

10-24 = F

25-39 = E

40-54 = D

55-69 = C

70-84 = B

85-100 = A

Ahh....I see. The marks required for each grade here vary year to year. It just depends what kind of marks the whole country gets in general. In fact it goes down to a G (or a U - 'Unclassified' if you get literally 0%), but when looking at grades, employers look at C and above. I hate exams in this country, there's too much pressure, it's just exam after exam after exam. :P

Yeah, it's the same here. So Much Pressure!

A guy went into sit his Leaving Cert(A Levels) the other day, and the headmaster wouldn't let him do it because his hair was too short!

Seriously? How can your hair be too short? Too long maybe, but too SHORT? :P

That is what I am curfuffled about. His hair was actually really nice and styled! :P

How very bizarre. It's almost like the Head didn't WANT him to take the exam....:P Strange.

Well, it is typical of this country to look down on certain people if they are not 'Up To Standards'. Grr!
