Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 No, I did them as separate GCSEs. For each one, I had to take two exams. A 1 1/2 hour exam that deals with the 'core' syllabus, then a 45 minute one that goes into more detail and deals with 4 'extension' units. So I just have the two extension papers left to do. Then I'm done Quote
pam Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Oh. Right I get it....I just do the Double Award. Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 My headteacher has introduced the Double Award for next year's Year 10. I'm so glad I'm not doing it, I found Physics impossibly hard, I couldn't have done it at GCSE. Quote
pam Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I like maths *smiles at the odd looks coming my way* so Physics is alright for me Chemistry is my weak point. Quote
Jackieleanne Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Yep, BTTB is good. I live quite close to manchester and in a town that has quite a few good shops so it isn't to bad and with all my friends living close by its good. Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I'm OK at Maths, never got Physics, and me and Chemistry is the biggest joke (even though I [stupidly] took it at GCSE). I'm OK at Biology, I'm taking it for 'A'-Level. Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 The nearest shops to me are a half hour journey in the car. Quote
pam Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Im taking maths for A-Level along with English, Geog, and History. Quote
Jackieleanne Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Yikes I don't know what I would do if I lived that far away from shops, I'm about 5minutes away from the town center surrounded by bigger towns about 15minutes away and then Manchester is only half an hour away by car and Liverpool aswell, so I'm pretty lucky to be around places where I can go and find something to do. Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Wow! You must be really clever! Maths! I'm taking...English Literature, Biology, Philosophy&Ethics and Italian (I *love* Italian) Quote
