Cool I wish that was the same up here, although I haven't had to go to school for two years. In college I remember we used to always end up with days off in winter because the heating used to go down and they used to say we couldn't work when it was so cold hehe. :P

Well, we don't get snow like you guys do at ground level, it only happens once in a blue moon.

On New Years Eve (our Summer)in Melbourne it got to 45 degrees celcius, and the temp didn't go below 38 all evening! That was a stinker! We do get colder than Sydney though, today was only 14 degrees, but it has been known to get to 2 degrees during the day. It mainly happens on the mountains, or the ski resorts. :)

LOL! 24C is positively tropical!

Elise: Wow! I really couldn't imagine having a tropical Christmas! All the cards and carols here are all based around the fact that Christmas is cold! :P

Thats what I am worrying about when I move to Brisbane Elise, Brodie keeps telling me how hot it gets in summer there and its going to kill me. :P

In Manchester in winter tempretures are usually in the minuses.

It would kill me too. I just get really grumpy when I'm hot. And I turn the colour of a lobster at the first sign of sun. :P
