Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Yeah, but that's Brisbane, In Melbourne, where I am, it ranges between 5-19 degrees! To me, that is freezing! I couldn't survive winter up there! I dread to think what would happen if you came to the UK! You'd have to go into hibernation! Quote
Jackieleanne Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Thanks for the info Elise, Melbourne sounds a lot like Vegas it was like living in an oven when I went there. I am glad that I should get used to it when I am there, I will love it though but ill miss British Christmas. Quote
Elise Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Definitely! That is something I don't wanna think about! I feel the cold way too easily, that's why one day I want to migrate to Queensland! Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 I'd miss British Christmases too, there's something really *Christmasey* about them. Quote
pam Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Stalker suff in October....YAY I will be back to watch it. Quote
Jackieleanne Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Lol Jess, yes I love britain at christmas, I love the snow, the roast dinner, the parties the cold the carols, it would be so strange to spend Christmas on a beech having a barbie! Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 It just wouldn't be *Christmasey*. I once spent Christmas in Barbados (in the Caribbean). That was very bizarre - Santa came in on a jetski and I ate my Christmas dinner outside in shorts and a t-shirt! Quote
Jackieleanne Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 Yea that would just be really weird, I will probably completly forget its Christmas when Im over there. Quote
Jess Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 LOL....apart from the fact that you'll have presents....who could forget that? Quote
Elise Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 With me, it is completely opposite. I couldn't imagine not having Christmas lunch with prawns and a decent barbeque! I love how I could go to the beach for Christmas and stay out real late and drink in lovely weather, such as New Years Eve! Quote
