Ashirr-Leigh Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Aw, how lovely of you. Anyone got any ideas of what I can get my friend for her birthday? She's going to be 17 in a few days.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vouchers for her favorite shop <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not a bad idea, thanks! Normally, I have no money but lots of ideas.. not it's the opposite because I got paid from work today! Quote
Liz Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Hmmm, it really depends on how much money you are willing to spend. Are tickets available for a local gig for any bands she likes? Quote
Dan F Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 I'm already trying to think of something for my best mates bday - and that's in November! Last year was his 21st so I took him down to London to see We Will Rock You - planning on going a bit cheaper this year! Maybe the Thundercats Boxset when it comes out! Quote
sir drinks alot Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Hmm boss for a week - doesn't feel much different to be honest! Extra button to take me to a huge control panel, but I probably won't need to use it anyway! Still nowhere near finishing off that film - nothing to take pictures of! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ahh this is Torture there's got to be something you can take pics of. Hmmm, it really depends on how much money you are willing to spend. I would say a £30 Voucher should do it Quote
Ryan Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Buut make sure it's one in a sale, that's how I've got most of my DVD's. Dallas box set looked cheap, I'd heard it was good and bought, and I'm loving it. Might not be your friends cup of tea though. Quote
Ashirr-Leigh Posted July 23, 2005 Report Posted July 23, 2005 Thanks for all the ideas. I'd love to buy her tickets for a gig but she's into the crappest music, don't know if I could force myself to buy it.. A dvd sounds good, as does a voucher. Dan.. you took your friend to London? I need to make better friends!! Quote
