Pierced Musie Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I had an eventful night last night. Ma and Pa went for a family meal (they don't go out often) so I was here with Nanna, who isn't 100% stable on her feet. A little rundown of yesterday. - Ma bought microwave meals for us. Turned out the ones she bought for me and Nan were not all that nice, but I ate mine while Nan only ate half. - Just after dinner, sister, with her boyfriend, walk in. She asked if we had eaten and then said if we hadn't, they would order takeout for us because they were getting some. This not only annoyed me, but also annoyed Dad. I think he wants to have a word with her about that. The other thing that pissed us off was that she was offering Indian food, which Nan can't really eat. Selfish or what? - Sister and boyfriend practically forced me into ordering something off the menu. I said chicken korma but they didn't order the food until 8:30pm. I felt so guilty about having it (diet and all) and I wish I hadn't bothered because it left me feeling sick. That could have been because it didn't get here until about 9:30. As soon as the food arrived, sis and boyfriend were gone and I was left with Nan again. - Nan went to bed and she was in the bathroom when I heard a thud. The dog started crying and ran for the stairs so I went up. Nan slipped over and I tried to help her up but couldn't do it. I rang older sis, who lived a few doors down from here. She came and helped but it shook me and I was on edge most of the night after that. - I have a cold again, thanks to sister (the selfish one). This is the third cold of the year and I am angry because of it. For 2 years I have managed to dodge every cold that has come in the house. To top it all off, Ma and Pa felt guilty for leaving me with Nan. I told them that I didn't want this to stop them going out every once in a while! In fact, I have an urge to ring Ma's brothers, who are Nan's sons, and give them a bollocking for never being here and leaving Ma and Pa to do everything. Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. Should probably be in the moan thread but this isn't really a moan. Quote
Cal Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Aww, Musie. I hope your Nan is OK after her tumble. And I hope you're still not on edge over it. Quote
