MarMar Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Which kind of weird are you feeling? Quote
Liz Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I'm feeling weird. Every time I listen to Goodye My Lover by James Blunt, I'm filled with an inexplicable sadness, but I also feel strangely complete and very moved. It is a "weird" feeling. Quote
MarMar Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I've never heard that song. See if you can get a hold of Winterborn by the Crüxshadows. It's a great song, with so many symbols. I feel weird like... all alone in the middle of the night. Not good for my mental health. Quote

Not good for my mental health. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sometimes I find being completely alone a very positive experience which gives me the oppertunity to reflect on things and make sense of my own mind and life. Of course, it can often be - as you say - damaging to my mental health, as I am alone with my own thoughts and they can often be very... scary! I understand you completely. Quote
MarMar Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Yeah, I know what you mean. I tend to think things I shouldn't. I've had some "problems", but I'm working on it. Quote
Liz Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I have intrusive thoughts (which is part of my panic disorder) and they can be quite distressing. That is why I tend to sleep with the television on; it helps me "escape" from my head! Quote
MarMar Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I used to sleep with music playing, but I tended to wake up in the middle of the night and think the music was playing too loud, even though it was turned all the way down. Quote
Liz Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 I think that I could sleep through an explosion! Once I'm asleep, I stay that way. (Except for this morning when my cousins woke me up, bashing my drum kit)! Quote
MarMar Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 (edited) I'm a very light sleeper. Edited January 2, 2006 by Mercury_Girl Quote
Dan F Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 Hmm well my insomnia's come back at the moment and I'm not getting to sleep until around 5am. I haven't had a reason to leave the house since Christmas Eve. I'm stressed as I've got tons of Uni work to be handed in next week. And my best friend who I haven't spent longer than 2 days apart from since August is 20 miles away All fun here! Quote
