Drew Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 (edited) Air it, like show it on TV half an hour after it happened. Like the NRL on a friday night Edited January 17, 2006 by summer_crush Quote

They already delay the night time matches everywhere outside NSW and VIC, except for the finals I believe (and I think it's live into SA, but the first 30 mins are missed) Delaying a match ruins their primetime ratings in the all important markets of Sydney and Melbourne, as alot of people are less likely to watch if they already know what the results are. starrychris Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Hewitt's coming back. If he wins this set, I doubt we will get H&A tonight. Quote
Lolzi Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Damn I must be a slow typer because when I go to reply to something in the middle of it like 3 people have done it before me when I started before them. Quote
starrychris Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 And Hewitt wins the set!!!!! But I highly doubt we will get H&A now. Quote
Drew Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Aww I'm sure H&A will get more viewers right now then the tennis anyways Quote
Lolzi Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Not many QLD's here, well is it like 6 in NSW now? Quote

It's why yesterday's match was interrupted, because no one was playing of any real significance to the Australian public, so they just stopped the broadcast and flicked the news on at 6. Quote
Drew Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I mean the match after Lletyon, the 730 one. Who is that anyway? Quote
starrychris Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Yeah, big name tennis players like Lleyton Hewitt playing during the Australian Open usually get over 2 million viewers. Quote
