DaSilva Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Never liked Valentines Day I don't see the point can't you tell someone you love anyway or everyday. I so agree with you! The same can be said about mothers day, fathers day, australia day, ANZAC day etc. Quote
MarMar Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Yup... It's mother's day this Sunday in Norway, and Father's day's in November. I guess they place them right before and right after Christmas to squeeze some more money out of us. Quote
Andy Posted February 10, 2006 Report Posted February 10, 2006 Never liked Valentines Day I don't see the point can't you tell someone you love anyway or everyday. I so agree with you! The same can be said about mothers day, fathers day, australia day, ANZAC day etc. Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day have turned into heavily marketed and commercialised concepts aimed at getting people to spend money and buy things that they wouldn't do on an everyday basis. The retail stores survive between seasons on these days. Yup... It's mother's day this Sunday in Norway, and Father's day's in November. I guess they place them right before and right after Christmas to squeeze some more money out of us. May and September in Australia. Quote
