Holly Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 You find Scooby Doo funny? It's riddiculus and what they did to the character of Scrappy is horrible, I used to love that little pup on the cartoon. Quote
Pete4Leah Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 (edited) I never liked cartoon much as a kid and still don't but I have to say Scoobie Doo was a GREAT cartoon! Absolutely loved it! That along with The Smurfs....they both rocked! Edited February 18, 2006 by Pete4Leah Quote
Pete4Leah Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Well guess I'm an oldie too now.....well over I think Quote
Pierced Musie Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 I never watched cartoons when I was young. I was all for Sooty & Sweep. Okay, so I was a big fan of Rupert the Bear But I moved on to Power Rangers. Never moved on from that though Quote
Holly Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 (edited) Why move on muse? Power Rangers are cool, I was addicted to them when I was a kid. Too many series of them now, none as good as the originals. I pretty much hated cartoons when I was a kid I think Scooby, Flintstones & Jetsons were the only ones I watched. Now I watch tons of them, never one for kids shows either though I often find myself watching Hi5 & Humphrey......... With my cousin! Pete4Leah Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Oh yea The Flintstones! That was another one I loved! Mmmmm guess there were some cartoons that were good. Quote

But the basics of it were that even though the original was good, I found In Space, Time Force and SPD better because they were more grown up. They dealt with more adult storylines. Plus the subtext rocked. Bridge/Sky was the latest subtexty pairing and there hasn't been such a tasty nonpairing since the Adam/Rocky 'friends with benefits' phase took place mmm buttery. Yes, I embrace my inner geek Quote
Natasha Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 Cartoons I used to like (showing my age a bit here) the Ninja Turtles ( the 90s series) Inspector Gadget, Astroboy ( hate it now) Fraggle Rock.... Quote

Yes, I embrace my inner geek I never watched adictevly(is that a word) after Zeo. But found In space pretty good expecially Andros?? (was that his name) I don't think ive seen SPD, I wonder if its been aired here. I missed most of the subtext when I saw them first time as I was young, but watching episodes on tape last weekend I picked up on things. Quote
