Great chapter

I loved how Kyle let Ricky in and allowed her to hug him. Such a lovely moment between them

Kyle had a lot of issues to deal with with Ricky there but looks like it might have helped and maybe he can stop using Ghost Aaron as a crutch.Slightly worried about what Josh might be about to get involved with here, no-one's planned anything silly, have they..?

Is Josh in trouble by someones stupidity? time will tell.

That prison must have the world's best physio to be able to get Josh to even move after all he has suffered.  But hey ho his now off somewhere with Sid Sounds as though he might break out or something 

The Kyle stuff was very sad But at least Kyle's had a rest from babysitting Casey all this time I agree with Aaron there about Ricky That's the first ever time I have agreed with a ghost aswell

Glad you all liked this scene. I think Ricky would be the most likely person to get through to him. The only other person might be Phoebe, but given their history, it would probably just be very awkward. She'd probably just make it all about herself and spend the whole time asking if she'd somehow made him gay or if he'd been lying to her the whole time.

Yeah, he's been holding on to a lot of resentment so it had to come out sooner or later. It's pretty understandable that he's angry though...

He does have a point doesn't he? I was trying to think if I've ever written a benevolent ghost before... and no, I think this is the first!  Normally they're there to torture the character, not give them comfort. As Red says, he's using him as a crutch.

You'd be forgiven for being worried. Josh has gotten himself into some right messes in the past and the police have never been the brightest in h&a (The Morgan storyline being a good example). Still, you'll just have to wait and see

Haha! This is very true  And he's not even in the Northern District Hospital with its magic healing waters and super doctors like Nate and Tori. Maybe it's because he has Sid?!  Maybe he brought some of that magic with him to the city? Who knows?!  I have put him through an awful lot, haven't I? Think a lot of people might have just laid down and given up. He's got some fight in him, hasn't he?!

Edit: Just realised that I did write a friendly ghost in Driftwood! What hope have I got if I can't even remember my own stories?! haha!

You should worry: I realised earlier today that in a story I was writing last month I for some reason decided to include a character that I killed off 17 years ago... I really need to re-read my stuff more often!

Oh, it was one of a series of self-insertion Star Trek stories I've been writing ever since DS9 finished.Currently nearing the end of the intricate plot arc that I came up with over a decade ago (so long as I remember where all the characters are...I've got spreadsheets and I still make mistakes!), so I might finally be able to cut back on my "at least four stories a year" schedule...

Wow!  17 years?! That is some commitment!!! You might as well have raised a child.
