Oh Skye is pregnant Spencer gets a second chance at being a dad since Evelyn didn't give him that chance.

Liked that you brought back Sally ,Miles, Gypsy, Pippa, Lily, Aden,Kirsty and Ollie.

Wow! Just wow!

Okay, give me a minute.... 

So much to take in! 

I loved this chapter. Like, loved loved loved this chapter . I don't even really know where to start. Like I said before, I'm finding it hard to keep up with all your pairings, and I'm really surprised by your choice to bring back characters you dislike so much, but it's really interesting and I'm hanging off your every word. I like the idea of Aden and Kirsty together although it's quite a surprise. Loved the conversation between Alf and Sally, and the fact that Miles (one of my all-time favourite characters) is back! How can anyone not love Miles?! Not sure about him and Gypsy though, but hey, who knows...

Really looking forward to seeing who else turns up!

Liked the tie in with real H&A history … the dude who wanted revenge on Dan getting it through Leah.

 

REALLY like the inclusion of “holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting your enemy to die.”

 

Will take some getting used to Sally calling Mr Stewart Alf ……and Aden/Kisrty ….and Gypsy/Miles …both different and intriguing/surprising

Wow, you all responded quickly again! I think this is the point where the comebacks really snowballed. I had all these characters that I wanted to have return to town but it struck me that I really really needed Sally there, and if she's there then Pippa's got to be there, and Miles... And I really didn't want Miles to be a lonely singleton who's hanging around his sister and niece because he's got no-one else (which is what the show seems to have turned him into), and I had him with Gypsy in my two Rabbit stories a while back (plug plug) so I just grabbed that, especially since it gave me the opportunity for the VJ/Lily moment. They might be the couple that are most short-changed in this because they're just kind of there.

Well, I nearly made Skye pregnant in the first story, and given what had happened to Spencer it felt right here.

Even though I felt the need to give Hunter his comeuppance in the first story, I never really intended that to be the end for him and I liked the juxtaposition of him being released and finding himself in the middle of Leah's rape.And while Aden wasn't my favourite either, I did give him a lot of page time in my early stories when I really was churning them out.Confession: I think Aden/Kirsty was very much inspired by a fiction someone else wrote many many years ago in which Belle came back to town and found Aden married to Kirsty.Of course, the person in question was a diehard Adelle shipper, so there was no chance of it lasting and I don't think they even had any scenes together, but it was always in the back of my mind that if he's not going to end up with Nicole then maybe... And given that at last count I had at least three fictions with Aden and Nicole living happily ever after (not counting the ones where in my mind they hook up later on), I thought I might give him and Kirsty a shot here!

Yeah, I wanted it to be someone specific rather than just random and that guy kind of stood out.

That's pretty much Skye's signature line, and I liked the idea of Spencer being so familiar with it that he joins in.

Well, she won't have many opportunities... I do have a tendency to reference Sally calling Alf Alf or Mr Stewart in pretty much every story I write featuring her, because it's always kind of bugged me and never quite felt in character.

But what stands out for me....

I'm enjoying the Spencer/Evie little baby story oh and the flashbacks of Leah having been raped are interesting..Even I don't remember the character who raped her

I thought Mason's somewhat odd need to keep telling Tamara that he was a doctor was amusing Like he was announcing that he might be the next Doctor Who or something

Oh and Hunter's return from jail and his none reaction to Leah being raped and wanting to know if he still had a van to stay in that was amusing too.

And wow interesting twist that Nicole and Ruby are a couple.

Now seeing them together as a couple reminded me of a Charlie/Joey fanfiction I had read on the fanfiction.net website as Nicole and Ruby become couple in the fanfiction in later chapters.

Can't remember the name, sorry!

Okay, once again, really interesting pairings!

Loved all the Kirsty /Aden flashbacks. I think they'd probably work quite well as a couple, and I don't really know why but there's a scene that stayed in my head where Ollie was running away from Kirsty (I think it was bathtime?) and Aden caught him. Think he might have called him a little monkey? I remember thinking it was a nice flash forward to future 'daddy Aden'. Lovely that he and Ollie developed a good relationship. I also can't see him and Kane getting on well! Lol! 

Loved the chat between him and 'Miss Fletcher'. I'm as surprised as Sally is that she had such a heart to heart with him, although Aden was actually pretty good at those even when he was young. It's a very nice scene.

When you said that Angelo was with Dani, I wondered what happened Nicole (since you didn't put her with Aden). Interesting. Why not eh? I could see them being lesbians.

Liked Miles and Leah too. He really did get screwed over an awful lot. I'm glad you have him a happy 'ending', although obviously it's not over yet.

134 chapters?! Are they, like, really short? Thanks for the info, I might look it up if I've got a spare...month. I like to think I invented Nicby, someone wrote a one-shot about them before the two fics I did (plug plug) but I did have them together as a gag ending to one of my early fics, back when they weren't even friends.It almost felt like Ruby's sexuality was up for grabs at one point, her older boyfriend was quickly written out and then she was single for quite a while, so it's kind of stuck in my head.I never quite bought Nicole and Angelo as endgame, and aside from Aden/Nicole, I actually have a hard time picturing Nicole and Ruby with anyone but each other!

That's actually the same scene I alluded to in the chapter, which I think is the only time Aden and Kirsty actually speak to each other, even though they're face to face on other occasions.But yeah, this story has basically given me an excuse to play out all the "couples getting together post-Bay" scenes I've had running around in my head for years but which are too slight to build a whole story around.And yes, Sally left just before Aden went to live with Roman and got accepted by the community, so she only ever met the bully Aden, so it's interesting to see them trying to adjust to each other.

Yeah, like I said last chapter, I just could not leave Miles lonely. He lost his wife and daughter, then he had two women miscarry his child and the relationship break down as a result: He deserved a break and so I really needed him to be a husband and father again! And hope you enjoy your holiday, you replied pretty quickly anyway!
