Expand On the very few occasions they were in the same place, Kane and Aden didn't seem particularly hostile towards each other (despite Kane putting Aden's father in hospital!) but I wouldn't like to leave them alone too long! They'd probably be civil to each other for Ollie's sake while glaring at each other when he wasn't looking... (Still, given that most of them ended up in "the city" there is a fair chance they could bump into each other...) I was kind of neglecting Alf so I felt like I needed a passing-the-torch scene with Irene, even if Alf absolutely refused to let it become that... Nicole and Ruby:Ahem. Ludub Posted July 30, 2017 Author Report Posted July 30, 2017 (edited) Fantastic chapter! Ruby and Nicole was interesting. I can imagine Nicole acting on pure impulse like that, and Ruby having that reaction (given her reaction to Charlie's short foray into homosexuality). Nice to get a little information on Roman too (glad to know he's out). Enjoyed the chat between Nicole and Alf (and his acceptance of her relationship with Ruby). Absolutely loved that little scene between Josh and Phoebe, and Kyle being pleased for them. I never would have put Josh with Phoebe in a million years but I love them together in this Interesting that she said 'I love you', I don't think that's something that Phoebe found all that easy in the past. Just love them! Ruby's apology to Indi was very funny, as was Billie's annoyance at the hotness of VJ's female friends (she might want to move him away from SB if that's a problem for her, there's obviously some sort of passport control on the way into the bay that stops unattractive people from getting in! ) Xavier and Mink is also a really interesting development. I remembered I used to write a fanfiction about them (titled True Love) and posted it on the charlie-joey.net website but I had it deleted as well. Had been considering about restaring it again one day. Loved Ruby's apology to Indi.
