As much as I “slightly” LOOOOOVE girl on girl, i REALLY like that Ruby/Nicole wasn't rushed ….. looks like them sleeping together made them realise something was there tween them at least, then they took it slow ….is that right?

 

LIKING that Mink’s aboard …… and Billie being totally in character, worried about the Bay’s DDG former residents !!!

It didn't seem entirely believable to have Nicole and Ruby instantly fall into loving sapphic bliss, so I had Ruby be reluctant at first. (I seem to have them take it in turns to be the most into it!) Also, I think Ruby was in a somewhat vulnerable position given that it was Nicole's place.(What I really wanted was to have Ruby go and stay with Nicole after getting out of jail, but I had Xavier imply they were married in the first story so I had to follow on from that.)Oh well, we know they're happy in the end! And I felt I needed to establish that even in the inconsistently draconian Home and Away world Roman would be out by about 2027!

Glad you like them! They're one of my more random pairings but they kind of work so I felt it was time to revisit them in this chapter.

I needed to cover what happened between Ruby and Indi as painlessly as possible and that felt like a good way. And yes, VJ does have a lot of attractive old friends!

The show's kind of left Mink in a rather disturbing limbo: Her mother's no use, she didn't exactly part on good terms with her brother and then he died, and she's out there somewhere all alone! So I really did have to have Xavier come to her rescue.

Lots of nice chats in here, filling in a lot of information Liked the Ruby and Nicole scene at the start. (I can only agree with Nicole, It is weird to suddenly discover you're meant to be an adult). Nicole and Aden's chat was good too, nice that they got to clear the air and actually talk about how things ended between them. Loved the scene at the end too, with Alf's reaction to Mink! ...but oh noooooo! Alf???!!!!

REALLY like the realism of how Ruby & Nic took things slow to eventually get together ……and loved when Xave asked Rubes if there’s something he should know about Nicole, re Charles 

 

REALLY like this ….. “Don’t make me say it again.You’re the only reason I’ve got back on my feet.When I bumped into you eight weeks ago, I was pretty much cursing that I had to deal with people but…you helped.”

 

LOVED this …… sooooo Alf ……. Alf opened his eyes and found Billie and Mink standing there.“It’s official,”he announced,“If you two are both here, then I really have gone to hell.”

 

Could this REALLY be the end of Alf ???????
