I reckon Yabbie Creek has a Green shirt store ?

It's easier with hindsight to pick massive holes in the stuff you watched first go. I've read episode reviews that are like "Damn! Are you a reviewer or a butcher?!" ?

Viv and Angel were pretty much runaways/street kids w/ good reason Abusive/Uncaring parents. I don't think he assumed any official guardianship of Angel, she was basically a daughter-esque lodger.

Goes to show the lack of attention to detail by the writers/producers. I hope the continuity is better now.

I still want to know why there is a photo of Frank in the Summer Bay house on Morag's desk ? So random

Why was Donald always moving?

I just remembered, Donald had Bobby's student of the year award so I assume he must have her belongings.

tbf, Don stayed in his final home, Bayside Villas for about 8yrs.

Joe Bowman bought the OG Fisher house in 1992 for Julia and Meg.

Fisher house MKII burned down in the 1995 Summer Bay bushfire caused by Jack Wilson, who stole a car to see Chloe, but the car overturned and fuel leaked. Irene's nephew Nelson saved him, getting burned in the process.

Don was quite vile to begin with and a bit of a Paul Robinson style character. He used underhand tactics against some pupils he did not like or against Nico. He even wanted Lyn to commit perjury to get Nico locked away and also the same with Bobby in the pilot.

So I am assuming that any belongings Fisher had of Bobby were destroyed in the fire

Paul and Morag are the bosses when it comes to that type of role. I dont think I can ever see either playing a Tom or Pippa role

Fisher was just a meany. However in his "softer" state he was still a sticky beak but a harmless sticky beak. I am sad that he was happy for Bobby to forgive Greg for cheating but stuck his whole self into stopping Frank from being with Bobby again.

Damn you Alex Papps....why did you have to leave

@Homeandawayfan. in your thread, you mentioned that you didnt particularly care for Frank. I must be the only person here who liked him as there is no character discussion thread about him.  I think he was misunderstood, very sensitive and thought the grass was greener on the other side. I get it, the writers were rushed to find a way to write Frank out of Home and Away because he got the role on Flying Doctors but still, I think there was still so much to explore. I think his heart to heart with Ailsa before he left was beautiful and is exactly how I thought things were between him and Bobby regardless of the narrative she was spinning. I honestly believe he did bury his feelings for her so he could make something of himself in the corporate world and it backfired.

On wiki, it cites a brief excerpt from this book, J Clayden, Melanie (1989). Home and Away Annual.

"Papps thought that his character's romance with Bobby was more genuine than the one he shared with Roo."

This pretty much confirms everything I have said in this thread- he never really loved Roo- it was infatuation and lust at the beginning and convenience at the end(same with Bobby and Greg- one of those, ill grow to love you because its convenient for us to be together type relationships). I would hate for Frank to return at some point and they get together. that would ruin the continuity.

By the way- I love Nicolle but is she telly a fib here?

"Dickson told Catherine Maloney from TV Guide that she was nervous about Bobby and Frank's first kiss. She explained that she had not kissed anyone in the business before and was fretting while filming. Papps told Dickson: "Shut up and kiss me" and they played out the start of their characters romance"

Unless the filming was not done in sequence, Bobby 's first onscreen kiss was with the handsome Brett Macklin...then Alan Fisher...then Frank

Do we know where Frank is? I believe @CaptainHulkmentioned somewhere that since returning Roo has mentioned Frank a few times, thus leading me to believe they might still be in touch.

Frank and Sally were very close, did she mention him at all? if not, I am not surprised there is no continuity there.

By the way, I think I will start a short fan fiction-  I am thinking around eisode 197 when Frank gets fired from Macklins, maybe earlier but I want to have a triangle with  Frank, Roo, Alan, Bobby and Brett- I have some thoughts, just sorting everything out in my mind. Ill post the link when I get started :)

I read very recently that Ashley Paske who played Matt Robinson in Neighbours auditioned for the role of Frank Morgan but  lost out to Alex Papps

Ironically, Don cared more about saving the poxy school than his own home.

To Don's credit, he suggest that he should bop Greg on the nose, oh how we would cheer if he did! Bobby probably wouldn't thank him for it, though.

Frankie is presumably still in the U.S.

Alf's age has always been a cause for contradiction. Publicity material says November 1946. But in the show he was 45 in April 1988, and in 1993 his DOB was 19 January 1943, which ties in beautifully with his 1988 age. But in April 1995 he is said to be 47 (born 1947/1948) and then has his 60th in July 2005. The Stewarts are Summer Bay royalty so maybe Alf has 2 birthdays.
