Good. Everyone should use "special cuddles"

Giving permission didn't mean that it didn't hurt. She was letting someone she cared about do what she thought was right for them even if it's not right for you...

I get it, Frank somewhat did the same by leaving so Bobby could be happy with Greg. However in my opinion,  it's not something you say to the women you have felt threatened by for years. Even Carly was baffled that Bobby said that. That's like admitting Roo won....when in reality, Roo didn't win. Frank admitted to Pippa and Ailsa that he was able to bury his feelings for Bobby because he was away from her. I will never be convinced that Frank stopped loving Bobby.

I mentioned earlier that it would've been interesting to know the dynamics of Frank and Roo's marriage, did the role reverse?did Roo end up being as jealous of Bobby as Bobby was about her?

After Frank and Bobby got together, I was irritated by how Roo felt entitled to a frienship with Frank, always trying to be around him.

Honestly, I think the writers/producers think we are silly. Didn't they think anybody would notice?

When/why did Martin move out of the apartment he shared with Narelle and Frank?

What is Roo's relationship like with Martha?

Martin probably moved out of the store flat to live with Lance in the mobile home and coast off of him. Philip soon occupied his room until his death. This was in Sept '88.

From what I heard Roo and Martha communicated online for a bit but recently she admitted she doesn't know where she's at (currently on the run in the states with her BF Hugo, who was involved in people smuggling c.2009-10, last I checked)

Neither Roo nor Bobby won. They both matured a lot in 1989 so that by the time Roo left with Frank it wasn't even a competition. Bobby giving Roo her blessing and Roo being able to take it showed maturity from both sides. I really liked the short-lived mature Carly, Bobby, Roo friendship (which we only saw glimpses of when Tom and Alf were missing and after the Revhead incident).

I read that Phillip was written out because the producers were hoping he would become one of the shows heart throbs, eventually taking over from Frank but unfortunately it didn't work out.

Did Martha return before Roo?

It was always a competition and probably continued in Frank and Roo's marriage. I got that impression when the old school friend of Carly's told Bobby that she saw Frank and Roo in the city.

I think the mature thing on Roo's part would've been to walk away and start a life away from Frank. Taking it proves she was always in the background waiting for her chance again., feeling entitled to his friendship etc. Love triangles never end well so It wasn't surprising they didn't last because in my opinion it was never really love between Frank and Roo...more so Frank wanting to see if the grass was greener on the other side like Carly said.Alex Papps himself said his relationship with Bobby was more genuine.

Something else I saw recently, Bobby was at the house with Pippa and she was looking at old photos of Frank and Lynn, she said along the lines, I really should find the time to write, so I'm assuming Bobby was in touch with Frank? The reaction to him calling her out of the blue was also very odd.

Giving someone your blessing in my opinion means you are on the path to accepting a situation which you don't like but need the closure to move on. We know that Bobby never stopped loving Frank (she didn't deny it when Frank said she loved him more than Greg)and never got that closure. The episode when Frank returned and they kissed, the minute Frank mentioned Roo, Bobby was upset all over again....now why be upset 2 years after you gave your blessing while projecting the narrative that Frank didn't really love her anyway?

I do think that without Frank, Roo and Bobby would've eventually become "friends" if Roo stayed in Summer Bay and Frank had moved on with someone else. That way neither woman would've won and they wouldve both had closure.

I read somewhere that Roo references Frank often lately , I do hope the writers are not gearing up for him to return and for them to be together again...
