So far I'm liking him and hope he stays around to build up the new teen group rather have him with Coco over Raffy mainly because they want her away from VJ

Yeah I like him. He is a breath of fresh air. I like he has history to the roots of the show too. Being Quinn Jacksons Son. And Alf's Grandson. I agree their is potential their to develop a new teen group. And I like Ryder better for Coco then VJ. Obviousley he is more age appropriate.

Lol.Australia voted Yes for same sex marriage today so ya never know.

Seriously though,i adore Ryder.He's a little cutie and has good chemistry with Alf.Out of the two girls I'd prefer him with Raffy but knowing my luck he'll end up with Coco.

It was a LOL comment, not a serious one, but in the context of the Vote, we can hope.... And I think he'll look good in the SBH school dress....

Ryder's entrance to the show felt a bit half-arsed (he pretty much just moved straight into the Summer Bay house with barely a word) but I think he's an interesting character.

I was a bit bummed when he started showing interest in Coco and Raffy though (ever new character that comes into the show I hope will be gay). I don't know why the writers are so reluctant to add gay characters. I mean Number 96 had a few openly gay regulars and that was all the way back in 1972!

I am not sure why fans of this show want every young male character to be gay. For the sake of having an LGBT character on the show. 99% of young male characters or hell in general are into girls. It just seems random. Oh the next young male character should be gay.
