Chapter 71

 

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

Bobby closed the bedroom door behind her then walked over to Carly’s bed  and sat down at the end. She looked over at Carly who had tears in her eyes

“What happened?” Bobby said

 

Background music –Carly’s theme

 

“I’ve made a decision, I am leaving Summer Bay” Carly said as a tear dropped from her eye

“Why? What happened?” Bobby said

“Bobby nothing has worked out for me since we moved here, I can’t pass my HSC, I am still living at home and the only guy I love, I told him and he doesn’t want to be with me” Carly said as she wiped her face with the back of her hand

“Ah ha, so that is what this is all about…Matt?” Bobby said with a smile

“It’s not funny Bobby, you married the number 1 Bachelor in Summer Bay and now a really rich and good looking guy sends you expensive things just to go out on a date with him, what have I had?. Who wants me? I’m lonely” Carly said as she began to cry. Bobby moved closer and put her arm around Carly

“You just haven’t met the right guy that’s all, just give it some time. As for me, the number 1 Bachelor left me and” Bobby was interrupted

“But he still married you” Carly said between cries

“And was in love with someone else the whole time. Look, I understand what you are saying and how you are feeling. This last year I was lonely, you know about the struggles I have had and because of wanting to get away, I nearly lost my life because I was forcing myself to be with Danny” Bobby said

“Summer Bay is just bad luck for me. Maybe I should give the guy I was dancing with a call he said he can out in a good word for me at the Sands corporate office in the City” Carly said

“Look what happened the last time you went to the City” Bobby said

“This time it’s going to be different” Carly said and she stood up and walked over to the window

“If I give you more hours at the diner, would that give you some time to think this through? Bobby said

Carly shrugged her shoulders,

 “Well you can work all day tomorrow and Tuesday, I have some things I need to do” Bobby said as she got up and walked around to the other side of the bed and sat down

“Everything will be ok…look at me” Bobby said

“Everything always works out for you…You should have seen Matt, all over that Megan girl who is going to be renting the van next week…I told him that I loved him, he didn’t even care…what do I do?” Carly said and began crying again

“I am not the best person to ask about relationship advice…talk to Reverend Jones” Bobby said

“What? No thanks” Carly said turning around and shaking her head

“I am serious, right before my accident, I went to his Church and spoke with him, even though he didn’t say much, what he say made everything appear clearer to me…talk to him” Bobby said as the door knocked

“Come in” Carly said wiping her face

The door opened and Frank walked into the room

“Are you ready? we are about to eat” Frank said as he walked over and sat on the frame of Bobby’s old bed

“Im just going to wash my face and ill be down in a minute” Carly said as she began to walk towards the door, Bobby grabbed her arm and Carly turned around

“Talk to him” Bobby said as she let go of Carly’s arm

“Ill think about it” Carly said and walked towards the door

Bobby sighed and walked towards Frank

“What is that about?” Frank said

“Carly is not happy with her life, she told Matt she loved him and I guess he doesn’t want to be with her so she wants to leave Summer Bay” Bobby said

“Ill talk to her later” Frank said as he reached for Bobby’s hand and pulled her close to him and kissed her “We are sleeping in the van tonight, your bed is too small for two people” Frank said as he kissed Bobby’s neck, she smiled

“I’ve asked Carly to work all day on Tuesday” Bobby said as she lifted her head up as Frank kissed under her chin

“Good” Frank said then kissed Bobby’s cheek and made his way back to her mouth then Bobby pulled back when she heard Carly open the bathroom door “Lets go and eat” Bobby said with a smile and walked towards the door.

Fisher Residence- Summer Bay

“Is this necessary? I told you I would give you the money” Donald said as Danny tied the last knot in the rope around Donald’s legs. Donald was sitting on the dining chair in the kitchen tie up

“I said be quiet” Danny said as he looked at Donald with an angry look

“Now you are going to do as I say. You Are going to call Ailsa Stewart and as her to come over here” Danny said

“What for? What is this all about” Donald said confused

“Just shut up and do it…stop asking questions” Danny said as he put a knife to Donald’s throat and put the phone receiver to his ear

“What is her number?” Danny said as he looked at Donald with angry look on his face

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“G’day Marty” Lance said as he slid open the door. Martin was sitting on the couch and appeared to be daydreaming

“Marty” Lance said

“Oh, Lance, sorry didn’t see you there mate” Lance said

“What were you doing?” Lance said

“Just thinking about the future Mrs Dibble” Martin said

“Who?” Lance said as walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and took out a can of beer

“That Sheila who is moving into the caravan park tomorrow…she is amazing” Martin said smiling

“She is ok” Lance  said as he sat down

“Ok? Mate she is the woman of my dreams” Martin said as he sat up in the couch

“I thought Carly was the woman of your dreams” Lance said as he opened the beer

“That’s history, she is a mate..the future Mrs Dibble is my one and only” Martin said as he lay back down looking at the ceiling and daydreaming

 

 

 

“Philippa this is amazing, than you for inviting me” Reverend Jones said after he swallowed some of the roast beef on his plate

Pippa smiled then said “You are welcome here anytime”

Bobby smiled, she was sitting next to Reverend Jones but opposite Frank who was playing with her feet under the table with the front of his shoes

“What time are you two heading out tomorrow?” Pippa said as she looked at Steve and Frank

“I have no idea, you have to ask the boss” Frank said then put some vegetables in his mouth

Steve smiled “I was hoping we would head out from here at 7:30, I got everything ready” he said excited

“Are you two off on an adventure” Reverend Jones said with a smile

“Frank and I are going hiking, wish we were camping out though” Steve said as ally gave him a mean look

“Sounds like fun, Philippa’s Brother Danny and I often went hiking” Reverend Jones said

“Yes I remember, I was never allowed to go” Pippa said as her children laughed

“Reverend Jones, why don’t you come with us?” Steve said

“Thank you for the invitation but I have to decline. I have a meeting tomorrow at 2pm with some very important people. Maybe next time when you go again? Reverend Jones said with a smile

“Sal, are you excited about the dance” Bobby said

Sally smiled and nodded her head

“Oh no, I forgot to get my Tux and the shop is closed tomorrow” Frank said

Sally looked to her left where Frank was sitting next to her “So you can’t take me anymore?” Sally said looking really said

“I am just joking Sal, I got my Tux all ready for our date” Frank said as Sally hugged him. Reverend Jones looked at Frank and smiled and nodded his head.

 

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Danny opened the front door a little then walked back to the kitchen. Donald was still tied to the chair and had tape over his mouth

Danny walked over the cupboards, he opened them looking for a frying pan. He opened a few more cupboards and finally found one. He closed the cupboard door just as he heard a car pulling up outside the house

“Must be Ailsa Stewart” Danny said to Donald then went and stood inside Bobby’s room

“Hello Donald?” Ailsa said as she walked into the house.  “Hello?” Ailsa said again as she looked around the living room and made her way down the hall to the itchen. When she got there she gasped when she saw Donald tied to the chair

“Donald what is going on” Ailsa said as she walked over to Donald to help him get untied. Donald was trying to shake her off and tell her to go and get the police but the tape was on his mouth…then Danny came out of the room and hit Ailsa in the bac of the head with the frying pan and she fell to the floor

Danny bent down and looked at Ailsa lying on the floor. “Hello Mrs Stewart” Danny said and looked at Donald and started laughing.

Chapter 72

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“Reverend Jones you really don’t have to do this” Bobby said as she gave a washed plate to Reverend Jones to dry.

“I know but I want to spend some time with you” Reverend Jones said with a smile

“How are you feeling?” Reverend Jones said as he dried the plate

“Much better, I am having the stiches in my head out on Monday” Bobby said with a smile

“That’s wonderful news but how are you feeling about everything else?” Reverend Jones said as he put the dry plate down on the table

Bobby sighed then smiled “I think I am going to be OK” Bobby said as Frank walked into the kitchen with one more plate

“Let me finish up here”  Frank said

“No its ok, I can do it” Bobby said as she attempted to take the plate from

“Ill finish up, you and Reverend Jones go and relax” Frank said and gave Bobby the towel to wipe her hands

“Thanks” Bobby said as she took the towel, wiped her hands and gave it back to frank who was looking at her and smiling. Reverend Jones watched as Bobby and Frank interacted and he smiled. “Ill finish the dishes with Frank, I want to get to know him better” Reverend Jones said as he smiled at Frank

 

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Ailsa started coming around, her head was hurting. She tried to move but couldn’t. She opened her eyes and looked around, she wasn’t in her house. She looked to her left and saw Donald tied up with tape on his mouth. Ailsa tried to talk but realized she also had tape on her mouth and she was tied up too. Ailsa heard foots steps and shortly Danny appeared at the door

“Hello Mrs Stewart, nice of you to join us” Danny said as he walked over to the fridge, took out a bottle of juice, opened it and started to drink some.

“You both must be wondering why you are tied up..well this is your punishment for what you did to Bobby. You see, she is dead because of both of you two. You both should’ve left us alone…now you are both going to pay. Ailsa and Donald both looked at each other.

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“I admire the love you have for your family here” Reverend Jones said as he wiped some cutlery

“Thanks” Frank said as he scrubbed a pot. He felt that Reverend Jones knew things about him

“Tell me about yourself Frank” Reverend Jones said as he put the cutlery on the dry plates on the table

“I thought Bobby would’ve told you everything you needed to know” Frank said as he handed Reverend Jones a plate.

“Only that you were married previously” Reverend Jones said as he dried the plate

“I bet she told you that she hates me because I left her” Frank said as he washed the last plate while feeling upset

“No, Roberta said nothing like that about you” Reverend Jones said

Frank sighed “Well I am a Senior Account Executive, I live in New York with my wife and  we have no kids or pets” Frank said as he handed Reverend Jones the last plate

“You sound like you are doing well for yourself. I wish you well in your future” Reverend Jones said with a smile

“Alex, would you like some coffee?” Pippa said as she walked into the kitchen holding Christopher’s hand

“That would be lovely” Reverend Jones said as wiped his hands on the nearby towel as Christopher let go of Pippa’s hand and walked over to Frank. Frank picked up Christopher and hugged him

“I am really going to miss this little guy when I leave next week” Frank said

“Maybe you and Roo should think about having a little one” Pippa said as she rubbed Christopher’s back

“We have talked about it but Roo isn’t ready, especially not now that she got this new job plus I want to save up more money so I can get us a large enough house and not raise our kids in a tiny flat” Frank said as he noticed that Bobby could hear the conversation from the couch and looked down into her lap sad.

 

“Carly can you do my hair like this tomorrow?” Sally said as she came into the room holding a magazine. She walked towards the dining table where Carly sat with her head propped up with her hand. Carly didn’t respond. “Carly?” Sally said as she got to the dining table

“Hmm?” Carly said as she looked at Sally

“Carly can you do my hair like this tomorrow?” Sally said as she showed a hairstyle in the magazine to Carly. Carly looked at the magazine “Sure” Carly said then she got up and walked towards the stairs. Frank watched as Carly walked towards the stairs

 

“Excuse me Reverend, I want to have a word with Carly” Frank said as he put Christopher down who ran over to his toys and walked towards the couch

“Hey” Frank whispered as he got near to the couch. Bobby looked up

“I love you” Frank mouthed. Bobby smiled as Frank walked towards the stairs

 

6:00 am Manhattan-New York

Roo rubbed her eyes she hadn’t slept much, she was nervous because today is the big day…the day of her event. Roo was working today as normal then she was going straight to the flower shop for the event starting at 7:00pm.  Roo got up and walked over to the closet where her clothes were hanging in a garment bag. Roo unzipped the bag and touched the dress she will be wearing for the event, it was a cream dress and she was going to wear a matching cardigan. Roo felt guilty because her and Frank were supposed to be saving money for the future but in Roo’s job, she need to have new clothes. Roo zipped the garment bag up and walked over to the wedding photo of her and Frank. Roo picked up the photo and looked at it. They looked happy in the photo Roo thought to herself then she put the photo down and started thinking about the photo she saw of Brett and Bobby and suddenly felt a funny feeling in her stomach and she ran to the bathroom and began throwing up in the toilet…

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Danny closed the drawer with one hand after collecting every knife in the drawer and walking back to where Ailsa and Donald were tied up

“We are going to play a little game” Danny said as he put the knives down on the table and picked up the frying pan. Ailsa started shouting as loud as she could even though she had the tape on her mouth

“Shut up” Danny said then hit Ailsa on the head with the frying pan. Donald looked helpless as Ailsa’s head fell forward.

“As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, we are going to play a game called I killed Bobby and I must pay” Danny said as he put the frying pan down and picked up a knife. Danny stood in front of Donald and bent down so they were face to face “ I am going to take the tape off your mouth, if you scream, ill slice your throat…do you understand?” Danny said as Donald nodded his head. Danny ripped the tap off Donald mouth which shocked and hurt Donald to which Danny began to laugh.

“Danny, why are you doing this?” Donald said with a frightened voice

“Because you killed Bobby, how many times do I have to say it” Danny said as he picked up a knife and began looking at it

“Danny, Bobby isn’t dead” Donald said. Danny stopped looking at the knife and at Donald

“What did you say?” Danny said

“Bobby isn’t dead” Donald said

“Don’t mock me, I saw her die when the car crashed” Danny said

“She didn’t die, Bobby came back to Summer Bay..she is living at the Caravan Park” Donald said

Danny picked up the frying pan and walked over to the kitchen window and opened the curtain. He couldn’t believe what he just heard…he thought Bobby had died…she is at the Caravan Park…with Frank…no…she needed to be here…with him. Danny turned around and looked at Donald then he walked over and stood in front of him.

“You better call the Caravan park and ask Bobby to come here” Danny said looking at Donald then at the frying pan…

Chapter 73

 

Caravan Park- Summer Bay

“Can I come in?” Frank said as he stood by Carly’s bedroom door. Carly shrugged her shoulders and ran her had through her hair. Frank walked into the bedroom and sat on the frame of Bobby’s old bed.

“Frank, why can’t anything ever go right for me?” Carly said

“Carly You always say this but never do anything about it…look at me, things came together for me” Frank said

“Things came together for you because the Macklins gave you a job because of Roo” Carly said

“And I am still there because I worK very hard. Nothing is going to be handed to you Carly, you have to work for it. Jobs, relationships, everything” Frank said

Carly began to cry. Frank sighed then went and sat next to her on the bed

“What is this really about?” Frank said

“Matt” Carly said

“Did he hurt you?” Frank said concerned

“No, I thought we were going to make a go of things, it feels so real with him. I told him I loved him but he was all over that Megan. Bobby said its because I treat him like second choice because I danced with that guy at the Cocktail party. That guy works for Sands corporate office in the City and said he might be able to help me with a job, that’s all” Carly said

“Sounds like Matt was trying to make you jealous” Frank said

“Why? It was just a dance, I didn’t do anything wrong” Carly said

“Have you tried speaking to Matt?” Frank said

“He doesn’t even want to talk to me. He couldn’t be bothered to tell me that he didn’t want to see me anymore” Carly said as she wiped her face

“What about looking for a job? Stuff Matt, another guy will come along. You could have a lot going for you if you tried, how about concentrating on your future?” Frank said

“Bobby said I can keep working part time at the diner and when she goes to Uni, she will let me work there full time until I make a decision” Carly said as she looked down

“See that is a good place to start” Frank said

“Oh Bobby is so lucky, she has so many good things going for her, a growing business, connections, Uni, a hot guy like Brett who wants to give her the world…when is all that going to happen for me? Carly said as she slammed her hand down on the bed.

“It happened for Bobby because she gets on with her life, no matter how much she is hurt. It will happen for you when you stop sitting around here feeling sorry for yourself” Frank said as he felt a pang of guilt for the way he left Bobby.

Carly sighed. “I did meet someone today…at the diner, he seemed nice and gave me his number. Maybe I should make Matt jealous” Carly said as she folded her arms and sat back against the wall.

“Come on Carly, don’t play games” Frank said

“It worked for Bobby” Carly said as she looked at Frank

“What are you talking about?” Frank said

“It took Bobby going with Brett for you to realize you still love her” Carly said with a sly smile

Frank got up and shook his head

“That’s not your business Carly” Frank said as he looked at her

“Ok, I am sorry. Thanks anyway” Carly said with a smile.

“Carly, you are smart and beautiful…don’t waste your life” Frank said

“Thanks, I am glad that you came back…I wish you didn’t have to go back…I still feel like I have not spent enough time with you….can I come and visit you and Roo in New York? Carly said

“Of course you can” Frank said with a smile as he walked towards the bedroom door.

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Danny pushed Donald’s chair to  the phone on the wall and picked the receiver up

“Now, this is what you are going to do. You are going to call Bobby and ask her to come over here, alone” Danny said as he put the receiver to Donalds ear

“Bobby and I are not on the best of terms right now” Donald said with sadness in his voice

“You better fix that right now and ask her to come her..NOW” Danny said he shouted in Donald’s face

 

7:00 am Manhattan-New York

“Oh no…not again” Roo said to herself as she looked at her reflection in the mirror in the bathroom. Roo opened the cold tap and cupped her hands under the tap. When her hands were full, she washed her face exhaled then stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. Roo started thinking back…she couldn’t be pregnant, her and Frank had decided to wait to start a family because she was not ready so they had been careful. Roo walked over to the toilet and put the lid down and sat on it. Roo rested her head in her hands… she loved Frank but she wasn’t ready to have another baby…not ready at all. Roo sighed

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

As Frank walked into the living room, Bobby walked into the kitchen, she opened the fridge door, took out some milk and put some in her coffee and closed the fridge.

“Dinner was great Pippa” Bobby said as she walked over to the dining table where Pippa sat with Reverend Jones. Christopher was asleep on the couch, Sally was so excited about the dance tomorrow that she wanted to go to bed early and Steve was in his room.

“Yes it was lovely Philippa,  thank you for inviting me to spend time with you and your family” Reverend Jones said as Bobby sat down in the head seat at the table

“I am going to put Christopher to bed, I will be back soon” Pippa said as she got up, walked over to the couch

“I will take him” Frank said as he bent over and picked up Christopher

“Thank you..I will come up with you” Pippa said as she followed behind Frank

Reverend Jones watched as Bobby watched Frank walk towards the door

“Now we have some time alone” Reverend Jones said as he smiled at Bobby

“I am happy you are here, I hope you come back soon” Reverend Jones said as he sipped his coffee

“Yes, I will come back, you should also come and visit me in New Castle…bring the family…and Frank” Reverend Jones said with a smile

Bobby was shocked that Reverend Jones mentioned Frank’s name…maybe they were making it too obvious that they were seeing each other

“Yes, I would love to come up and see you” Bobby said with a smile

“You seem much happier in comparison to the Young woman I met earlier this week” Reverend Jones said

“Bobby nodded her head and smiled “Yes, things are working out for me” Bobby said

“Would you mind telling me?” Reverend Jones said

“I met the General Manager of the Sands Resort here in town and he offered me a Director of Catering opportunity and I will be going to University” Bobby said

“That is excellent, I am happy about that” Reverend Jones said

“Thank you” Bobby said with a smile

 

“Phone ringing”

“Ill just get that” Bobby said a she got up and walked over to the phone

 

Frank put Christopher in his cot ,  covered him and just watched as he slept

“Sorry that he called you Daddy today” Pippa said as she put her hand on Frank’s shoulder

“Bobby and I were supposed to be trying for a baby this year so it brought that memory back” Frank said

“I am sorry love” Pippa said as she hugged Frank

“You will have another chance with Roo when you are both ready” Pippa said as she looked at Fran

“Yeah…we’ll see” Frank said unsure and they both walked out of the room

 

“Whatever it is Dad, I don’t want to talk about it right now” Bobby said into the receiver

“Bobby, please it won’t take long..please come over” Donald said

“What is this about Dad?” Bobby said

“I just need to speak to you..its important…please Bobby” Donald said

“Cant it just wait until tomorrow?” Bobby said

“No, please come tonight…by yourself” Donald said

Bobby sighed…”Ok, I’ll be over in 10 minutes” Bobby said and put the phone down and Fran and Pippa came into the room

“Who was that?” Pippa said

“Dad..he wants to talk about something that can’t wait until the morning” Bobby said as she picked up her car keys

“You’re not going over there by yourself, its late…Ill drive you” Frank said

“Ok, I need to get some of my things as well” Bobby said as she smiled

“We won’t be long” Frank said as he too the keys from Bobby and they both walked towards the door.

Chapter 74

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

“Bobby is on her way” Donald said as Danny snatched the receiver from him and put it back on the phone. Danny pushed Donald’s chair back and placed him next to Ailsa who was rolling her head around.

“Please don’t hurt her” Donald said as Danny picked up the tape from the table.

“Did you hear me? Don’t hurt her!” Donald said as Danny walked towards him smiling with the tape and put it on his mouth.

 

Manhattan-New York

Roo took the towel off her head and threw it on the couch, she piced up her wedding photo, sighed then  walked over to the couch and sat down.  Roo looked at the photo of her and Frank…she started thinking back to the time they almost got married because Roo had convinced Frank that Martha was his baby.  “I can’t be pregnant” Roo said to herself…we have been careful” Roo said to herself then put the photo on the couch next to her and sat back. “I am not ready to have another baby…and I won’t have another baby” Roo said to herself then got up off the couch to get ready for work.

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Frank parked the car , turned the engine off and turned and looked at Bobby. “You have been really quiet tonight, are you ok?” Frank said as he held Bobby’s hand

Bobby sighed. As much as she loved Frank and was happy to be with him, her heart still hurt because he would never be truly hers.

“I’m fine, just a bit tired” Bobby said smiling through her lie

“I guess Ive been keeping you from getting sleep” Frank said with a smile. Bobby smiled shyly and put her head down.

“Do you want to sleep on your own tonight?” Frank said

“You have to be up early to go hiking with Steve” Bobby said

“I don’t want to sleep without you” Frank said as he leaned over and tried to kissed Bobby as she turned away

“What?” Frank said confused

“Not out here, someone might see” Bobby said

“I don’t care, come here” Frank said as he turned Bobby’s head and kissed her passionately. Bobby put one hand on her heart then pulled away from Frank

“I wont be long” Bobby said with a smile and got out of the car. As Bobby got out of the car she wiped her eyes. “I cant keep doing this” she thought to herself and she slowly walked to the front door of her Father’s house.

 

Wilson Residence-Summer Bay

Matt stepped out of the shower and tied the towel around his waist. He picked up another towel off the rail and wiped his hair and face with it then threw it in the laundry basket. Matt walked into the living room and used the remote control to turn the TV on and sat down on the couch. Matt shook his head, it was an advertisement with Carly’s twin sister. Today Carly pretty much told him that she loved him…words he wanted to hear but he knew it was only temporary until she found another guy. Matt thought about the picnic that he and Carly had on the beach earlier in the week then his thoughts were interrupted by the phone ringing. Matt got up and walked towards the phone

“Hello?” Matt said when he put the receiver to his ear

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Bobby took her key out of her pocket and opened the front door. The house was quiet.

“Dad?” Bobby said then closed the door behind her. The lights were off as Bobby walked into the living room and turned the lamp on, looked around then made her way towards the kitchen.

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

Carly walked into the living room and saw Pippa and Reverend Jones looking through a photo album and drinking coffee as she walked over to the kitchen and began to make herself some tea.

“Carly, are you OK?” Pippa said from her seat at the dining table

Carly poked her head out of the kitchen “Yeah…fine” Carly said then went back to making her tea.

Reverend Jones and Pippa looked at each other then Reverend Jones looked at his watch

“I didn’t mean to keep you up so late, I better go and get myself ready to retire for the night” Reverend Jones said

“Oh, please have one more coffee” Pippa said. She had really enjoyed having Alex here, tonight has been a perfect night, with all her children and an old friend

“If I have one more coffee, I won’t be able to get to sleep” Reverend Jones said with a smile

“Is there anything else I can get you?” Pippa said not wanting the night to end

“You have been the perfect hostess Phillippa, I have really enjoyed my time here with your family. Thank you for inviting me” Reverend Jones said as he reached for Pippa’s hand and squeezed it just as their was a knock on the door

“I wonder who that can be” Pippa said as she got up and walked towards the door. Carly walked out of the kitchen with her cup of tea

“Who is it?” Pippa said as she stood behind the door

“Pippa, its Ms Molloy” Pippa heard from the otherside of the door

“Mrs Malloy?” Pippa said looking around at Carly and Reverend Jones then opened the door

“Mrs Malloy is there something wrong?” Pippa said as Mrs Malloy stepped  into the house and Carly stood behind Pippa

“I am sorry to come around this late but we had a phonecall, a concern about the children and as per department policy, I just have to come and investigate” Mrs Malloy said

“What? What kind of concern Mr Malloy, the children are fine, I am fine” Pippa said very surprised

“Pippa that may be the case but I still have to do my job and investigate. Are Sally and Steven still awake?” Mrs Malloy said

Carly walked towards the stairs and disappeared upstairs

“Mrs Malloy, please tell me what this is about?” Pippa said still very surprised.

“All I can say is that we had a call, someone who was concerned about the welfare of the children here, I don’t know anything more than that at this stage, I am sorry” Mrs Malloy said

“Who would do something like that..Celia Stewart” Pippa said and shook her head

“What about Celia Stewart? Mrs Malloy said

“She had some not so nice things to say about Bobby and threatened to call the department; I got angry at her and told her that her threat didn’t scare me. I can’t believe she actually went through with it” Pippa said then sat down as Steven and Carly entered the living room.

“Hello Steve” Mrs Malloy said

“Hi Mrs Malloy” Steven said confused

“Steven can we step outside briefly and have a conversation?” Mr Malloy said

“Yeah, sure” Steve said as he followed Mrs Malloy outside

“I will never forgive Celia if my children are taken away” Pippa said as she started crying.

“I cant lose my children” Pippa said as Carly walked over to comfort her

“Everything will be alright Pippa” Carly said

“Yes, Carly is right everything will be fine” Reverend Jones said as he stroked Pippa's arm and gave her a reassuring smile

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

 

“Sorry to interrupt your evening” Mrs Malloy said to Steve as they stood outside

“Oh its alright, I was just packing our backpacks, Frank and I are going camping tomorrow” Steve said with a big smile on his face

“That sounds great, well I wont keep you, I just wanted to ask you a few questions” Mrs Malloy said

“Questions about what? Steve said looking confused

“Ill be honest with you, we had a call from someone who expressed a concern about the welfare of you and Sally, said something was going on here” Mrs Malloy said

“Huh?  Sally and I are fine now. If you are talking about what happened, I am back in school now and I have no intentions of running away again and Sally is much better now that Frank is home and Pippa is out of the hospital ” Steve said

“Great to hear. Is Bobby staying here?” Mrs Malloy said

“Yes, she had  a car accident and fell out with her Dad so she has been staying here, why? Steve said

“The person who called also expressed that there was something going on here with Bobby” Mrs Malloy said

“She has been lying low since the accident, nothing going on that I have seen” Steve said confused

“How do you feel about Frank being home?” Mrs Malloy said

“I love it, I have missed him so much. Its like old times all of us living together again” Steve said with a smile

“So you still like living here?” Mrs Malloy said

“Yes, why? there is nothing going on here, honest. Me and Sally are fine” Steve said

“Well when we receive a concern, we do have to investigate and usually that means putting the children in temporary foster care until we are satisfied that everything is well” Mrs Malloy said with a sigh. She knew how much the children loved Pippa

“Mrs Malloy, please don’t take Sally and I away, there is nothing going on here, honest. We are both fine. Frank is taking Sally to the Daddy & Daughter dance tomorrow evening. Please don’t ruin that” Steve said

Mrs Malloy sighed “Ok, I will leave things for tonight, I will be back tomorrow to speak to Sally and Frank” Mrs Malloy said and gestured for Steve to go back into the house

 

Wilson Residence-Summer Bay

“I guess Ill see you when you get here, bye” Matt said into the receiver before putting the phone down and waling over to the couch and sitting down

Barbara had called him from the phone box and told him she was ten minutes away. Matt knew that he had made a mistake when he called her but he just wanted to get his mind off Carly now Barbra was driving all the way to Sumer Bay because she missed him. Matt smiled to himself and shook his head “She really told me she loved me” Matt said to himself. When he heard that from Carly, he wanted to hug her and kiss her, he had been wanting to hear those words for a long time but now it didn’t matter because she was probably lying anyway. Matt got up and walked over to his desk and opened the draw, he took out an old photo of Carly that he had, she was in her school uniform and he stared at it. He had pretty much loved Carly the minute he saw her walking into Mrs Stewarts store but he has never been good enough for Carly.  “Its time to let you go, once and for all” Matt said to the photo and was just about to rip the photo in half then he stopped and just put it back in the drawer.

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

Bobby knocked at Donald’s door “Dad?” Bobby said with no response. She could hear some noises and made her way to the kitchen where the noises were getting louder. As Bobby got to the kitchen door, she turned on the light and what she saw gave her a shock, her father and Ailsa tied up with tape on their mouths. They were both attempting to say something which Bobby couldn’t understand but she rushed over to them and just as she took the tape off Donald’s mouth Danny stepped out from his hiding place in the corner of the kitchen

“Hello Bobby” Danny said. Bobby jumped then turned around to see Danny who had a very angry look on his face

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“Is everything alright?” Pippa said wiping her face as Steve and Mrs Malloy came into the house

“Pippa, I am sorry about this, I need to come back tomorrow and speak to Sally” Mrs Malloy said

“I don’t know what is going on, why would Celia do this?” Pippa said as she stood up

“Well Pippa, I cant confirm if the call did come from Celia” Mrs Malloy said

“She is the only one who I had a run in with who made the threat” Pippa said

“Look, usually I take the foster children out of the home and place them elsewhere until an investigation is complete but I know you Pippa and I am satisfied with Steve’s responses that there is no immediate danger. But as I said, I will need to come back tomorrow to speak with Sally” Mrs Malloy said

“Thank you Mrs Malloy, Frank is taking Sally to the Daddy and Daughter dance so please come over before they get ready to leave at 6pm

“Ok, I am sorry to interrupt your evening. Ill see you tomorrow. Ill let myself out” Mrs Malloy said as she headed for the door and went out

“Don’t worry Phillippa, from what I have seen you are a wonderful Mother” Reverend Jones said attempting to calm Pippa who was still visibly upset

“Thanks Alex” Pippa said with a smile

“Steve are you ok? Pippa said

“Yes, I am fine, just going to go back upstairs to finish the packing for tomorrow then get to bed…night” Steve said then ran towards the stairs

“I better retire for the evening too. Thank you very much for this evening” Reverend Jones said

“Let me show you to your van” Pippa said as she walked over to the wall of keys and picked up a set for Reverend Jones  then they both headed for the door.

 

Fisher Residence-Summer Bay

“Danny what is this about?” Bobby said as Danny walked slowly towards her

“Are you not happy to see me?” Danny said as stood right in front of Bobby. Who didn’t respond. Bobby closed her eyes as Dany kissed her cheek “I thought you died in the car accident…I cried for days thinking I lost the love of my life…now you are here, we are meant to be” Danny said as he hugged Bobby. Bobby didn’t move and she didn’t hug Danny back

“See these two” Danny said as he turned around and pointed at Ailsa and Donald “thee two are going to pay for what they didn to us. If it wasn’t for these two, we would be somewhere almost getting married

“No Danny, that wouldn’t be happening…I wasn’t going to marry you” Bobby said before she could stop herself

“So you lied to me?” Danny said as he walked over to the table and picked up a knife

“No Danny, I lied to me….I was leaving Sumer Bay for all the wrong reasons…Im sorry if I gave you the wrong impression” Bobby said as Danny walked towards her with the knife

“You said you loved me” Danny said as he grabbed Bobby by the throat and pinned her against the wall “You can’t take that back” Danny said as he loosened his grip

“Ok, your problem is with me, let them go and Ill do whatever you want…just please let them go” Bobby said. Her heart was beating really fast, she was on the verge of tears and really wanted Frank

“I am not letting them go, they are both dying tonight anyway” Danny said “She’s first” Danny said as he pointed at Ailsa before Danny could turn back Bobby made and attempt to run but before she could get to the front door,  Danny grabbed her hair and she fell backwards on the floor and hit the back of her head

“Stupid idea to run from me. I am not letting you go ever” Danny said as he dragged Bobby back to the kitchen by her arm

Celia sat up in bed and looked at the time,  it was almost 10:30pm. She wasn’t expecting any visitors at this time of the night. “Maybe the person has the wrong address” Celia thought to herself and proceeded to lay back down on the bed.

“I better go and see who it is, it might be an emergency” Celia said to herself as she got out of the bed and reached for her robe that was lying on the chair.

“Who is it?” Celia said as she stood behind the door

“Alex” Celia heard then her heart skipped a beat

 Frank “You still want to see me? Huh?”

Frank smiled to himself. He was really having a good time with Bobby. When he arrived in Sumer Bay he never expected that he and Bobby would feel as strongly as they do about each other. Frank didn’t care that he was married or what the consequences would be if anyone found out, he was just having the best time with someone who was half of him.

 

“Danny please don’t do this” Bobby said as Danny tied her to the chair. She had blood on the side of her face from the stiches in her head that had opened up

“Im bleeding Danny, I need to go to the hospital, please let me go” Bobby said

“I cant let you go Bobby, I love you and you love me” Danny said

“Ok, me and you can leave Summer Bay like we planned, just let my Dad and Ailsa go” Bobby said

“I don’t believe you” Danny said contemplating the idea

“Danny my head is bleeding, please untie me, let me clean up then we can get going. My stuff is at the caravan park, ill just grab a few things and we can go” Bobby said hoping to convince Danny

“If you mean it, we don’t need to get any clothes we can go with what you have on” Danny said

“Ok, that is a good idea too” Bobby said with a smile

“Ok, I need to go to the bathroom, ill untie you but don’t do anything stupid otherwise they die tonight” Danny said as he untied Bobby and to show good faith, she kissed him and they both smiled then he ripped the phone from the socket and ripped the wires up. When Danny disappeared into the bathroom, Bobby had to think quickly, she had to find a way to get Franks attention. Bobby looked at Ailsa and Donald

“Frank gave me a lift, he is in the car, I want to find a way to get his attention” Bobby said and she looked around. She opened the cupboards and found a bottle of wine. As hard as she could, she smashed the bottle on the floor

 

The crash startled Frank. He looked at Donald’s house, he heard something crash. He got out of the car and walked over to the house. All the lights appeared to be off which Frank found strange. He walked around to the side of the house.

 

“What was that noise?” Danny said as he came out of the bathroom

“I wanted to open a bottle of wine to celebrate us trying again but the bottle slipped out of my hand and fell to the floor” Bobby said as she was about to kneel down and pick up the broken glass

“No no, I will do this for you my future wife” Danny said as he knelt down and began picking up the broken glass

 

Frank saw no lights in the bedrooms so proceeded to walk around to the back of the house. Fran could see the kitchen light on and as he got to the kitchen window he Ailsa and Donald tied up, Bobby standing with blood on her face and Danny on the floor picking up glass. Frank slowly backed away from the window and rushed back to the payphone down the road to call the police

 

“All done” Danny said as he picked up the last piece of glass

“My hero” Bobby said and she gave Danny a kiss on the cheek then she heard a noise outside

“What is that noise?” Danny said then he walked over to the kitchen back door

“Oh its probably nothing” Bobby said then Danny proceeded to open the back door, he looked around and as he turned around to enter the kitchen, out of dark, Frank used his foot and pushed Danny inside. Danny turned around saw Frank then they started fighting. Both were picking things up in the kitchen and using it to hit the other. In the distance, Bobby could hear the police siren then at that point Danny grabbed a knife and grabbed Bobby and put the knife to her neck

“One more move and I cut her throat” Danny said looking at Frank who was bleeding from a cut above his eye

“let her go” Frank said

“Why? You don’t want her” Danny said with a smile

“Just let her go, let me and you finish this” Frank said

“LET HER GO” Frank shouted again

Danny pushed Bobby onto the floor and lunged at Frank with the knife

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“It was a beautiful service wasn’t it Ruth” Celia said as she put the last bit of her sandwich in her mouth. Roo didn’t respond. She was looking around the room..looking for someone then she spotted the person she was looking for. Roo stared at Bobby and her breathing became heavy, she started feeling angry then without warning slowly made her way towards Bobby who stood by the door next to Steve looking into her cup.

SLAP

The slap made Bobby stagger back then she put her hand up to her face in shock.

“ITS YOUR FAULT THAT FRANK IS DEAD, WHY COULDN’T YOU JUST STAY AWAY FROM HIM?” Roo said as she was about to lunge at Bobby, Steve grabbed her arm and pulled her away

“I am sorry…I didn’t mean for this to happen” Bobby said as she began to cry

“I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR TAKING MY HUSBAND AWAY FROM ME, I LOVE HIM AND YOU TOOK HIM AWAY” Roo said crying

“I love him too” Bobby said

“BUT HE MARRIED ME BECAUSE HE ALWAYS LOVED ME AND NOW YOU HAVE TAKEN HIM AWAY FROM ME” Roo said

“I’m sorry Roo” Bobby said as Roo walked away then stopped and turned around

“I don’t care how sorry you are….. at least a part of Frank will always be with me…something you will never ever have” Roo said then she put her hand on her stomach and smiled

Bobby gasped and opened her eyes. The dream she had felt so real. She looked to her right, Frank was sleeping facing her. Bobby exhaled then started thinking about what happened a few hours ago. When Danny lunged at Frank with the knife, luckily he missed but the fighting didn’t stop. Bobby picked up the fruit bowl and hit Danny over the head just as the police arrived.  As Danny was being taken away by the police all he kept on saying was how much he loved her. Bobby felt sorry for him, sorry that she got him to the point where he would hurt people that she loved. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt, Bobby received stiches again and Frank had a few stiches above his eye where he got the cut.   Bobby looked to her right, she looked at Frank as he slept peacefully, she raised her hand and stroked his cheek with her finger

“I love you Frank” Bobby said and she snuggled under him and tried to get back to sleep.

“Ruth, are you OK?” Nancy said as she looked at Roo who was staring at the wall

“Hmm, sorry did you say something?” Roo said

“I asked if you are OK because you look like you are miles away” Nancy said

“Oh, sorry about that. I am fine just nervous for tonight, that is all” Roo said as she walked over to the water cooler and got some water. She couldn’t tell Nancy that she was nervous because she might be pregnant with a baby she wasn’t ready for

“Oh you will be fine. I have seen how much work you have done this week to prepare” Nancy said as she watched Roo walk back to the desk and sit down

“Can you please come tonight? I need moral support”  Roo said

“Of course, I will be there” Nancy saod

“Thanks” Roo said as she smiled at Nancy. She had to find a Doctor and decide what she was going to do before Frank came home

Celia looked at the clock on her nightstand, 4:00am. She had not slept a wink after Alex left. She was not expecting to see him last night and she was not expecting to still have butterflies in her stomach after hearing him support Pippa. Celia had not intended for the Department to go and visit The Fletchers straight away, she thought her phone call would be filed away and forgotten. She had not intended to cause trouble, she was just angry at the way Bobby behaved with Frank. Anyway none of that matters now, Alex was back and this was her second chance to be happy. Celia smiled to herself and hugged her pillow and closed her eyes.

Roo looked around the flower shop,  Nancy kept her promise, she came and was talking to a potential client. The opening had a good turn out, Roo smiled to herself, proud of what she had accomplished. “I am Ruth Stewart, finally making something of myself and nothing is going to stop me from going further” Roo thought to herself as she walked over to a makeshift bar and poured herself some champagne and smiled. As she took a sip, she felt someone tap her shoulder, when she turned around, she was met with bright blue eyes and a smile…Donavan.

“FRANK! FRANK WAKE UP”

Bobby opened her eyes,

“FRANK WAKE UP, ITS 7AM WE HAVE TO GO SOON” Steve said as he banged on the caravan door

“Oh no…Frank, wake up” Bobby whispered as she gently shook Frank to wake him up

“Hmm” Frank said

“Frank wake up, its 7, Steve is banging on the door” Bobby said

“FRANK YOU PROMISED, WAKE UP” Steve said again

Frank opened his eyes and rubbed his eye

“Frank what are we going to do,  Steve is going to see me” Bobby said thinking about where she was going to hide

“I don’t care if he sees you, I don’t want to hide anymore” Frank said as he sat up

“Please Frank” Bobby said as she looked at Frank

“Ok just cover yourself” Frank said as Bobby covered herself and Frank got up and walked towards the door

“OK OK OK, I am awake” Frank said as he opened the door

“Good just making sure. Your eye doesn’t look too bad this morning” Steve said with a smile

“Im going to take a shower” Frank said as he attempted to close the door so Steve couldn’t see inside

“OK, I want us to get going by 7:30. I packed everything we need, Im just going to make some breakfast and some sandwiches for later ” Steve said as he noticed Frank attempting to close the door

“Ok” Frank said as he turned around to go back into the van

“Oh by the way” Steve said to which Frank looked over his shoulder

“Morning Bobby” Steve said as he poked his head into the van then looked at Frank and smiled and ran back towards the house

“Donavan, Hi! What are you doing here?” Roo said surprised then she hugged Donavan. He smelled so good and looked like he just got off the runway

“Well you didn’t call me and I wanted to see you and remembered that you were having an event tonight so I called your office for the address” Donovan said as he handed Roo a single red rose

“This is for you” Donavan said as Roo took the rose and smiled. She had butterflies in her stomach and was really happy to see Donavan

“Thank you. I can’t believe you came all the way here to see me but I am glad you did, I need all the support I can get” Roo said as she hugged Donavan again. What Roo didn’t see is the look of disappointment on Nancy’s face as she watched Roo and Donavan from across the room

Stewart Residence-Summer Bay

“Here you go Love,  a nice cup of tea” Alf said as he approached the couch

“Thanks Love” Ailsa said smiling at Alf as he put the cup down and sat next to Ailsa on the couch

“How are you feeling?” Alf said as he put his arm around Ailsa.

“Fine, just a bit of a headache” Ailsa said attempting to laugh

“I am sorry love, I should’ve been there to protect you” Alf said as he leaned forward in anger

“Not your fault love” Ailsa said as she rubbed Alf’s back “We are all lucky that Frank heard Bobby smash the bottle on the kitchen floor and came to our rescue. I don’t know what would’ve happened if he didn’t come. He saved my life” Ailsa said as she wiped a tear that had fallen onto her cheek

“Yeah.he did. I will go and thank him later. I don’t want you leaving the couch today, you have a relaxing day off and that is an order” Alf said as he leaned back on the couch and put his arm around a smiling Ailsa.

“Can you go over and see how Donald is doing?” Ailsa said as she looked up at Alf

 

Wilson Residence- Summer Bay

“Hmmm what time are you getting home from work” Barbara said as she kissed Matt’s neck

“Maybe 6” Matt said as he put on his socks

“Ill cook you dinner” Barbara said as she rubbed Matt’s back. Matt sighed, he wanted her to go…He didn’t even know why he agreed for her to come over.

“I don’t even know if Ill be finished at 6 so don’t worry, ill grab something later if you want to get going” Matt said as he got up

“Rebecca is staying in Perth for the weekend since her recital was pushed back so I am at a loose end, Ill probably go and see my family and maybe meet you at the Diner for lunch or something” Barbara said as she watched Matt put his shirt on

“Ok sure” Matt said as he walked over to the night stand and picked up a key

“Here is a key to let yourself out, I got to go, or Ill be late” Matt said as he walked back to the bed and gave Barbra the key. Barbra attempted to pull Matt back to bed but he resisted

“I got to go, ill see you later” Matt said trying to force a smile and walked out of the bedroom

Barbra smiled to herself as she laid back on the pillow. She looked to her left and reached down to her back and lifted it up onto the bed and pulled out the envelope and put the back on the side of her. She pulled out the paper in the envelope and scrolled down to the bottom  

“Results…Pregnant” Barbra said and smiled to herself

Frank leaned on the tree and looked into the woods, at the place where he and Bobby shared a meal…where he thought they would be together forever…he smiled

“Knock at the door”

Donald jumped when he heard the door knock, nearly spilling his coffee. He put the cup down and slowly walked to the front door

“Who is there?” Donald said standing behind the door

“Its me Don, Alf” Alf said then Donald opened the door

“Hello Alf, wasn’t expecting to see you this morning” Donald said as she walked back to the kitchen

“Ailsa wanted me to come and check on you after last night” Alf said as they both arrived in the kitchen

“Thank you, would you like some coffee?” Donald said as he sat down

“No thanks, I can’t stay long, I got to go and open up the shop” Alf said as he sat down opposite Donald

“How are you doing Don?” Alf said

“Fine, I am doing fine. I guess we all owe our lives to Frank” Donald said as he sipped his coffee

“Yeah, ill head over to see him later to say thank you” Donald said

“Is there anything you need?” Alf said

“No, I am fine thank you, Ill just rest for a while” Donald said

“Have you heard from Bobby, how is she? Alf said

“Not today but she was crying a lot last night..blaming herself” Donald said

“Bob Barnett said he would update us all today” Donald said as he sipped his coffee

“Good Morning” Reverend Jones said as he stood by the door

“Good Morning Alex, please come in” Pippa said as she got up “Let me get you some breakfast” Pippa said as she walked towards the kitchen

“That would be wonderful Philippa, thank you”  Reverend Jones said as he sat at the dinner table

“I assume Frank and Steve are on their way to their hiking trip” Reverend Jones said

“Yes, they left about two hours ago” Pippa said as she poked her head out of the kitchen.

“Is everyone else having a lazy morning?” Reverend Jones said

“Carly is working at the diner, Sally is looking through magazines in her room, hunting for the perfect hairstyle, Christopher is having a nap and Bobby is taking some time to herself after what happened last night” Pippa said as she walked out of the kitchen with a plate of bacon, eggs and toast.

“What happened last night?” Reverend Jones said sounding concerned. Pippa sighed and sat down

 

Bayside Diner-Summer Bay

“Hi” Carly looked up and saw the guy from the other day

“Hi, what can I get you” Carly said with a smile

“You didn’t call and I wanted to see you again” Ben said

Carly smiled

“Can I take you out tonight?” Ben said

“My little Sister is going to a Father/Daughter dance and I am helping her get ready and we have some other family stuff going on” Carly said as Matt walked up to the counter and started collecting receipts and banding them together

“I am free tomorrow if you are still around” Carly said with a smile

“Ye-yes, I will be here, where can I pick you up? Ben said

“You can pick me up from outside at 5pm if that is ok? I am working on Monday morning and don’t want to be out too late” Carly said

“That will be fine, I will see you tomorrow” Ben said as he smiled and walked out of the diner. Carly watched him walk out and turned around to go back into the kitchen but Matt was standing in the way and staring at her

“Do you mind?” Carly said looking straight at Matt,  he moved and Carly went into the kitchen smiling to herself

Roo smiled as she walked back to Donavan. She had been speaking to the flower shop owner, making sure everything was satisfactory but all she really wanted to do was be with Donavan.

“Great turnout” Donavan said as he sipped beer from the bottle and looked around the room.

“I have been really nervous all week but everything has worked out” Roo said as she looked around the room.

“Donavan” Donavan turned to his right and saw Nancy standing next to him

“Nancy, hello” Donavan said Nancy hugged him

“I wasn’t expecting to see you here” Nancy said trying not to sound disappointed

“Ruth’s first assignment so I wanted to come out and give her some support” Donavan said as he looked at Roo who was now standing in front of him

“That is awesome” Nancy said again trying to not sound disappointed

“So how long are you in town for?” Nancy said as she sipped her champagne

“Leaving on Monday” Donavan said as he sipped his beer. Roo smiled trying to hide her excitement

“Thank you both for your support, I really appreciate you both being here” Roo said as she smiled at both Nancy and Donavan

“You are welcome Ruth, I am proud of you. It’s a shame that your Husband couldn’t be here” Nancy said as she sipped her champagne

Upon hearing the word “Husband” Donavan looked directly at Roo who was searching for something to say.

“Oh excuse me, Ive seen someone I know, Ill be back” Nancy said as she walked away with a triumphant smile on her face leaving Donavan and Roo awkwardly looking at each other.

 

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“Danny asked me to give this to you?” Bob Barnett said as he handed Bobby a letter

“What is going to happen to him?” Bobby said as she took the letter from Bob Barnett

“He was transported this morning to a secure facility in Sydney” Bob Barnett said

“I hope he gets the help he needs “ Bobby said as she sighed

“Yes, he is a sick young man.  Ill see myself out, Good day Bobby,  Pippa, Reverend

“Thanks Bob” Pippa said as Bob Barnett closed the door behind him

 

“I am sorry about what happened Roberta, are you ok?” Reverend Jones said as Pippa took his empty plate to the kitchen

“I am fine “ Bobby said as she tried to smiled

“I am glad you are all ok, thanks to Frank” Reverend Jones said

“My hero” Bobby said as she genuinely smiled

“Yes, your hero” Reverend Jones said as he smiled at Bobby

 

Hairdressing Salon-Summer Bay

Celia looked at herself in the mirror when she sat down. She thought back to last night when Alex came to visit her. She wished that Alex stayed but he didn’t, he went back to the Caravan Park…back to Pippa. Celia ran her hand through her hair, she tried to keep herself updated but now she had a reason, Alex wouldn’t be back in Summer Bay if not to be her second chance at happiness

“What can I do for you today?” The hairdresser said as she stood behind Celia

“Oh just a wash and some curls, something different” Celia said

“Ok, is it for a special occasion?” The hairdresser said

“Maybe” Celia said then she smiled as the hairdresser put the cape around her shoulders

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

Bobby closed the door behind her. She wasn’t ready to read the letter and put it down on the table and walked over to where her box was sitting on the floor. Bobby struggled as she picked up the box and put it on her bed. She  sat down and opened the box and looked inside. This box contained items/photos/documents and other things that were very important to her. Bobby reached in and took out her high school diploma, she needed this for her Uni application. Bobby reached into the box again and took out a small cream box, she opened it and saw her wedding ring and engagement ring staring back at her. She put the box up to her heart and sighed. Frank will never be hers but she decided that she was going to enjoy the last few days with him. Bobby got up and walked over to the chair, picked up her bag and walked out the bedroom.

 

Lower Manhattan-New York

“Husband?”  Donavan said as he sipped his beer

Roo’s heart began beating fast, she had to figure out a way for Donavan to not be mad at her

“Yes” Roo said, that is all she managed to say

“Why didn’t you tell me?” Donavan said as he sipped his beer

“I’m sorry..I wasn’t trying to keep it a secret” Roo said

“So why didn’t you tell me?” Donavan said

“I don’t know, I guess I never found an opportunity to. I wasn’t trying to keep it from you, I was just having a good time with you in California” Roo said as she touched Donavan’s arm

Across the room, Nancy pretended to listen to the person opposite her talking but she was really looking over his shoulder at Donavan and Ruth.

“So where is he?” Donavan said

“He is in Australia, he went home to take care of a family problem” Roo said

“Hmmm” Donavan said

“Im sorry you wasted time coming out here” Roo said as she crossed her arms and felt annoyed with herself then uncrossed her arms as they fell to her side

“Is it really wasted?” Donavan said  then he sipped his beer and winked

Roo exhaled and smiled as Donavan touched her fingers

 

 

Bayside Diner-Summer Bay

“Bobby, how are you?” Carly said as she saw Bobby come into the Diner

“Ok” Bobby said as she got to the counter

“What are you doing here, can I get you something?” Carly said as she wiped the counter

“I am going to the Yabbie Creek shopping center but I need a favour please” Bobby said

“Sure” Carly said

“Can you bring home a chocolate cake tonight” Bobby said

“For Frank?” Carly said with a smile

“Yes, I want to cook him a thank you dinner before he goes out tonight with Sally” Bobby said as she put a slice of carrot cake in a food bag

“That’s the least I can do…he saved my life” Bobby said and took some money out of her bag and put it on the counter

“Ill see you later, don’t forget the cake” Bobby said as she walked away

Carly wrote a note on her hand to remind her and as she turned around to go back to the kitchen, she bumped into Matt who was standing behind her watching her

“Excuse me” Carly said. Matt didn’t move. Carly looked at Matt who was looking directly at Carly

“Can we talk?” Matt said as he moved

“No, excuse me” Carly said as she walked into the kitchen with a smile on her face.

 

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

“Do you really have to go now?” Pippa said as she watched Reverend Jones put his bag in the car

“Yes, unfortunately I have a meeting in exactly 3 hrs” Reverend Jones

“Bobby was really upset that you couldn’t be here for the dinner tonight, you have become important to her” Pippa said

“Yes, the feeling is mutual” Reverend Jones said with a smile

“Its strange that a tragedy brought you back into my life” Pippa said

“Yes, God does work in mysterious ways” Reverend Jones said with a smile “Thank you for your hospitality, I have had a great time with your family” Reverend Jones said as he closed the back seat door and walked towards the driver side.

“Me too, I hope we will see you again soon” Pippa said as she walked behind Reverend Jones

“Yes I will phone you” Reverend Jones and before he could get into his car, Pippa hugged him tightly to which he began to laugh

“I am sorry, I am just really happy to see you” Pippa said and rested her head on Reverend Jones’s chest while in the distance with her brand new hairstyle, Celia Stewart looked on with a disappointed look on her face.

 

Yabbie Creek Shopping Center

Bobby rarely went shopping for herself but she wanted to treat herself, she had been through so much recently. She looked at the bags she was carrying and smiled. As she looked in the shop window, she remembered when she was here with Frank and Sally and smiled as she walked into the shop.

“Hi” Carly looked up and saw they guy from earlier

“Hi, back again?” Carly said

“I couldn’t wait until tomorrow” Ben said as Carly blushed

“Can you join me for lunch?” Ben said

“I can’t, we are short staffed today” Carly said

“Ok” Ben sad with a disappointed look on his face

“Ok, well Ill just have to wait until tomorrow” Ben said as he smiled

“Ok, Ill see you tomorrow” Carly said as she watched Ben walk out of the door and turned to go back to the kitchen

“Excuse me” Carly said. Matt didn’t move.

“Ive been a jerk, Can we talk?” Matt said as he moved

“No, excuse me” Carly said as she walked into the kitchen

“Hello Matt” Matt turned around to see Barbra standing at the counter smiling at him.

 

Hiking Trail-Summer Bay

“Can we stop now? I am tired and hungry” Frank said as he and Steve got to the furthest point of the mountain trail that had a beautiful view of Sumer Bay

“Ok” Steve said as both took their backpacks off. Steve pulled out a blanket and laid it on the ground as Frank too off his jacket and sat on the blanket. Steve took out two cans of coke and a bag with sandwiches, potato snacks and some fruit. He passed some sandwiches to Frank and a can of coke. Frank began to eat

“When do you think you will be back?” Steve said as he watched Frank look out at Summer Bay

“I don’t know” Frank sighed. “I didn’t think I would be back at all” Frank said as he opened the can of coke

“We need you Frank” Steve said as looked at Frank then out his head down “I need you” Steve said

Frank felt guilty about having to leave. With Tom gone he knew that his family needed him but he left to make a life away from Summer Bay…away from Bobby

“Its not like you will never see me again, you can come and visit and call me any time you need me” Franks said

“It wont be the same” Steve said as he bit a small part of his Sandwich

“Come on, its not that bad, net year you will be getting ready for Uni and will make tons of new friends, you will be fine” Fran said trying to convince himself

“I don’t want friends, I want my family with me” Steve said

“Steve what do you want me to do? I have made a life in New York, I have a job there…a wife. I can’t just leave and come back to Summer Bay” Frank said then sighed

“Ok maybe not but please come and visit. When you left to go to the City, you never came back” Steve said

“I know, I am sorry. I guess I thought it would be too painful for Bobby to see me..I never thought about you guys missing me” Frank said

“Sally was upset for a long time that you left” Steve said

“Yeah, Roo told me what she said to her about being the reason why Bobby and I broke up” Frank said with a laugh

“I love you Frank” Steve said

“I love you too mate and don’t worry, I will always be here for you, anytime you need me…ok? Fran said

“Ok” Steve said as Frank pulled him close and hugged him,

“Ok Bye” Roo said as she waved to the flower shop owner, and caught up to Donavan

“Sorry about that” Roo said as stood next to Donavan.

“I am really sorry for not telling you the truth and Ill understand if you don’t want to speak to me again” Roo said

“Are you hungry?” Donavan said

“Ummmm I think I am” Roo said

“I know a nice little restaurant not too from from here, let’s eat and see where the night takes us” Donavan said as he smiled

“Sounds great” Roo said as Donavan held her hand and they walked in the cool New York night.

 

 

Caravan Park –Summer Bay

“Sorry Donald, Frank isn’t here, he went hiking with Steve this morning” Pippa said as she walked over to the stairs

“Sally come on we need to get going” Pippa said and she walked back towards Donald

“I guess I will try later, I just wanted to thank him for saving our lives last night” Donald said

“Is Bobby here?” Donald said

“No, she went out earlier, didn’t say what time she will be back” Pippa said as she bent down to put Christopher’s shoes on.

“Ok, well please tell Bobby I came by, I will try and come back this evening” Donald said

“Frank is taking Sally to the Father/Daughter dance, they leave at 7:30pm so you might want to come before then” Pippa said

“Ok, I will, than you Pippa” Donald said and Pippa watched him wal out of the door.

Pippa parked the car outside of the church and turned the engine off

“Pippa why are we here?” Sally said confused

“Well I have something to give you, come on lets go” Pippa said as she took off her seatbelt and proceeded to get out of the car

Sally got out of the car and closed the door as Pippa took  her bag with the blanket in and gave it to Sally, removed Christopher from his car seat and they walked towards the cemetery.

 

Shopping Centre-Yabbie Creek

Bobby sat down in her car seat,  shut the door and exhaled. She thought about all the things she brought and smile. She was excited to get to the shop and get the things she needed to cook Frank dinner…just like she used to. Bobby exhaled and then the old feeling started creeping back…those feelings of knowing that she is just a convenience for Frank right now. “No, I am going to have a good time” Bobby said to herself and exhaled. Just as Bobby was about to start the engine, there was a knock on her window that made her jump. When Bobby looked up, it was Marilyn.

 

Bayside Diner-Summer Bay

Hi Mrs Stewart, have not seen you for a while, how are you? Carly said as she turned around to see who mentioned Matts name

“Hello Carly, good, thank you. How are you doing? Are you working here now? Barbra said

“Yes, just part time for now. What can I get you? Carly said

“Let me see” Barbra said as she picked up the menu. “This would be my first meal here, Is Ailsa around? Barbra said as she looked at the menu

“No, she isn’t here but I can’t say why” Carly said. Barbra looked up at Carly

“Why did something happen?” Barbra said looking concerned

“I cant say” Carly said

“Hmmm is Bobby around? I would like to say hello”  Barbra said

“No, she isn’t coming in today” Carly said

“That’s a shame. I think I will have two toasted sandwiches to go. I want to go over to Alf’s and see if Ailsa is home” Barbra said

“It will be about 10 minutes, would you like a drink while you wait? Carly said

“Sure, Ill have some orange juice, ill wait over there” Barbra said then walked over to the booth

Carly finished writing the order and walked into the kitchen, gave it to Matt and opened the fridge. While the fridge was open, Matt went and stood next to Carly

“I really need to speak to you Carly” Matt said and touched Carly’s arm

“We don’t have anything to say to each other. Remember?” Carly said as she walked to the counter. Matt watched Carly as she walked out of the kitchen and locked eyes with Barbra who had an angry look on her face.

 

Cemetery-Summer Bay

“Ok” Pippa said as they approached Tom’s grave. Pippa put a blanket near the grave and they all sat down. Pippa reached into her bag and pulled out a letter and gave it to Sally.

“What is this?” Sally said

“Open it and read it” Pippa said and she sat Christopher on the blanket

“Ok” Sally said as she opened the envelope and pulled the letter out

“Dear Tom and Pippa Fletcher. This is to im…imform you that your ad..adoption of Sally Louise Copeland has been granted. Please co..complete the form to confirm your ac..accepting of this agreement and to pr..proceed with the change of name” Sally said then put the letter down and started crying.

“So you and Tom are my real parents now?” Sally said as she wiped her face

“Yes sweetheart we are” Pippa said then wiped a tear from her cheek.

Sally wiped her face then put her head on Pippa’s lap and cried

“Don’t cry sweetheart, this is good news, I wanted to share it with you so know that even though Tom isn’t physically here, he will always be with you and he will be so proud of you tonight” Pippa said as she wiped her cheek again and the two began talking about tonight and the good time Sally will have.

 

Shopping Centre-Yabbie Creek

“Hi Marilyn” Bobby said as she rowed her window down, “how are you?” Bobby put the key in the ignition and looked at Marilyn

“Hi Bobby, I saw you coming out and I thought it was you but I didn’t expect to see you. Doing some shopping? Marilyn said

“Yes, just a few thing” Bobby said as she smiled

“Have you seen Lance lately?” Marilyn said

“No, I haven’t. Do you want me to give him a message?” Bobby said

“No, I just wondered that’s all” Marilyn said looking upset

“Are you ok?” Bobby said

“Yes….no. Lance wont speak to me and everything is a mess and I miss him so much” Marilyn said and started crying

“Come and sit down” Bobby said then Marilyn walked around the front of the car and got in the passenger side

“Why wont Lance speak to you?” Bobby said as Marilyn closed the door

“He thought I left to be with the Director who was going to put me on tv because we were in love but that wasn’t true, he said he would help me get a job on tv but that turned out to be a lie” Marilyn said then she took a tissue out of her bag and gently wiped her eye so as not to ruin her make up, Bobby laughed as she watched her

“I don’t know what to do, I tried saying sorry but he wont forgive me” Marilyn said

“Well I reckon Lance was in love with you and you leaving like that broke his heart, its going to take some time and you can’t expect him to drop everything and take you back…” Bobby said

“He won’t even talk to me to give me a chance to apologize” Marilyn said

“Well you can’t force him to” Bobby said

“What should I do?” Marilyn said

“I am wrong person to as about relationship advice” Bobby said with a laugh

“Oh, I am sorry, it must be hard seeing Frank back” Marilyn said

“That’s life. Give lance some time, he will come around. Do you want me to give him your number or something?” Bobby said

“Yes please, I am staying with my cousin here in Yabbie Creek” Marilyn said as she took out a pen and paper from her bag and wrote the number down then gave it to Bobby

“Ill pass it on” Bobby said then folded the paper into two and put it in her pocket.

“Thanks Bobby” Marilyn said as she got out of the car and before she closed the door turned around

“You look very nice today Bobby, you look happy. Whatever it is that is making you happy, I hope it never stops” Marilyn said

“Thanks, see ya” Bobby said then smiled as Marilyn closed the door and she drove off.

Chapter 80

 

Lower Manhattan-New York

Roo stepped out of the restaurant and breathed in the cool air. She exhaled and smiled. Tonight had been a success and Donavan was here.

“Sorry to keep you, the cashier was taking her time to charge my card” Donavan said as he stepped out and Roo turned around. Donavan looked at is watch “Wow, 12am, I didn’t mean to keep you out so late I better get you home” Donavan said then looked up at Roo and smiled.

Roo felt those butterflies again “It doesn’t feel that late, I have had a great evening, thank you for dinner” Roo said as she hugged Donavan and as they separated, they began to kiss passionately until Roo pulled away

“I am not ready to go home yet” Roo said then she looked up at Donavan and into his eyes

“Are you sure?” Donavan said as his blue eyes pierced Roo’s heart. Roo nodded and smiled then Donavan grabbed her hand and walked to the side of the road and put his hand up to hail a taxi.

 

Stewart General Store- Summer Bay

Bobby opened the door to the store. Roo leaving to be with Frank started an awkwardness with Alf and since they got married and Frank returned, the awkwardness got worse. Alf turned around when he heard the door he turned around and saw Bobby. Bobby walked towards the counter and took out a list out from her bag.

“Hello Bobby” Alf said as Bobby got closer to the counter

“Hi” Bobby said and smiled as she got to the counter and picked up a basket and started walking around the store. Bobby felt Alf watching her as she put different ingredients in her basket. When Bobby finished collecting everything she needed for the meal she was going to cook, she walked towards the counter and put the basket on the counter.

“Just these please “Bobby said as she awkwardly waited for Alf to serve her.

“Doing some cooking?” Alf said to break the silence

“Something like that” Bobby said attempting to smile

“I need to come to your place and thank Frank for saving Ailsa’s life” Alf said

 “How is Ailsa?” Bobby said as she watched Alf put her items into the bags

“$18:50, she is fine, a bit shaken up but thanks to my son in law, nothing serious” Alf said to which Bobby looked up at Alf.

Bobby handed Alf the money then picked up the bags

“Thanks” Bobby said then she turned around and walked towards the door.

Alf watched her walk away, when she closed the door, he pulled out his book from the drawer, opened the pages until he found what he was looking for then picked up the phone and started dialing

“Hello Ruthy love it’s me, Dad.” Alf said in response to the answer machine

 “You must be asleep over there. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Give me a call when you can. Ok love, bye” Alf said then he put the phone down and stared at the receiver.

 

Stewart Residence-Summer Bay

“We wasn’t expecting you” Ailsa said as she hugged Barbra at the door

“Why didn’t you call and tell us you were coming?” Ailsa said as both she and Barbra walked towards the couch

“Oh it was a last minute trip this morning. Rebecca is in Perth and I was at a loose end and thought, why not come to Summer Bay. I haven’t seen my nephew in a while” Barbra said as she sat on the couch

“Oh he is taking a nap, he will be up shortly” Ailsa said as she sat down

“Oh I went by the diner and brought some food, I hope you are hungry” Barbra said as she out the bag of food on the table

“Thanks let me get some plates” Ailsa said as she walked to the kitchen and shortly returned with two plates and two glasses of lemonade.

“When I asked for you, Carly gave me a vague excuse, what is going on?” Barbra said as she took a bite into her sandwich

“Where do I start?” Ailsa said as she bit into her sandwich

“Hmmm this is really good, can I have the recipe?” Barbra said as she chewed

“This is Bobby’s creation, and one of our most popular items on the menu. I think it’s the dressing that she uses. She won’t tell anyone the secret ingredients” Ailsa said as she chewed

“So how is Bobby?” Barbra said as she picked up the glass and took a sip of her lemonade

 

Bayside Diner-Summer Bay

“Thanks” Carly said with a smile, she was just tipped $3 by a customer. She put the money in her pocket and went over to the table to wipe it down then take the empty plate to the kitchen.

“Carly, wait” Matt said as he grabbed Carly’s arm before she left the kitchen.  Carly stopped walking.

“I know I have been a jerk but please talk to me” Matt said

“Matt there is nothing to say, you already made that decision” Carly said as she shrugged off Matt’s arm

“Matt another order for a toasted sanga” Lance said as he gave the order to Matt then went back to talking to his customer

“Can you go for a walk with me on the beach after work? Matt said

“No, we are having a family dinner tonight” Carly said as she folded her arms

“What about after?” Matt said

“I am helping Sally get ready for a Father/Daughter dance” Carly said

“Ok what about tomorrow after work? Matt said

“You know I have a date” Carly said. She was right, Matt knew she had a date

“What about tomorrow morning? Ill make us breakfast here before I start” Matt said”

“No… excuse me” Carly said then she turned around and left the kitchen with a smile on her face.

Celia sat down looked around her living room. She had not moved since she came home after seeing Alex and Pippa hugging at the Caravan Park. Alex hugged her like that when he came over last night and she felt something, the same thing she felt when they used to hug like that years ago. “There must be a reason why he came back, it must be fate” Celia said to herself “I am not going to let him go again” Celia continued saying then she got up and walked over to the phone,  picked up the receiver and began to dial

“Hello, department for child protection” the voice said

“Hello, I would like to report an unsafe environment for Foster children” Celia said in a disguised voice

Bobby put the card in the envelope, sealed it then put it in her bag and smiled. She got out of the car reached into the back seat for some of the things she purchased, closed the door, put her keys in her bag and walked towards the house. When Bobby got to the door, it was locked, that meant nobody was home. Bobby took her key out of bag and opened the door and let herself in. She walked over to the kitchen pantry where all the van keys were and took the spare key for Franks van then put it in her pocket and smiled

 

Stewart Residence-Summer Bay

“Sounds like Frank saved your life last night” Barbra said as she listened to Ailsa telling her about what happened last night.

“Yes he did, I don’t know what would’ve happened. I do feel bad for Bobby, she was hoping that Danny would be the one to take her away from the bad memories of Summer Bay” Ailsa said as she picked up her glass and drank some lemonade

“Oh well, she is young,  she will find someone. I know Ruth never thought she would find someone especially after what happened with her having to give up Marth and now she is happy and head over heels in love” Barbra said

Ailsa smiled, she remembered back to last, to Bobby caressing Frank’s face, asking him if he was alright, him looking back at her with love in his eyes then she sighed.

“So, what has been going on in your life?” Ailsa said, hoping to change the subject

 

 

Hiking Trail-Summer Bay

“Hey, you never told me why Rebecca isn’t coming up this weekend” Frank said as he walked slightly behind Steve

“Her mum wanted her to come straight home after the recital I guess Mr Fisher must have told her that Rebecca stayed out all night when she was here” Steve said

Frank laughed to which Steve turned around

“Ok, Im sorry, I didn’t mean to laugh” Frank said and smiled to himself

“Tomorrow morning,  let’s have a Family breakfast, lets pass by the shop on our way home, make sure we have everything” Frank said

“What time are you leaving on Wednesday?” Steve said

“I have to be checked in by 11am” Frank said

“Can we do something as a family on Tuesday, give me a note to wag school” Steve said looking back in excitement

“I have to go into the city to pick up some documents from the Macklin office and then go round and apologize to Narelle” Frank said as Steve turned around and started walking. Frank began smiling to himself about what he was really going to do on Tuesday

“We can have a family dinner on Tuesay night..I volunteer you to cook” Frank said to which Steve stopped walking and turned around

“Ill get Bobby to help me” Steve said with a smile on his face

Frank shook his head then they both started walking.

Caravan Park-Summer Bay

Bobby looked out of the window, she couldn’t see anyone so she quickly opened the van door closed the door behind her and locked it before anyone came out and began walking fast as she put the key in her pocket. As Bobby walked fast, her head started to hurt, well what did she expect, after the trauma her head had taken over the last week. Bobby quickly unlocked the door and went inside and put the spare van key back. Just as she did, she heard a car pulling up. She walked over to the kitchen window and noticed it was Pippa, Sally and Christopher. A short while after, they came through the door.

“Hi” Pippa said as she saw Bobby in the kitchen

“Hi I am cooking dinner tonight…just my way of saying thank you to Frank for last night” Bobby said as she pointed to the ingredients on the kitchen table

“That is a nice gesture, I am sure he will really appreciate it” Pippa said as she walked out of the kitchen. Bobby smiled because she knew what her real thank you gift for Frank was.

“Congratulations, how far along are you? Ailsa said surprised at Barbra’s news

“Six weeks. I honestly didn’t expect to be having any more children, this certainly wasn’t planned” Barbra said smiling

“What about the father? Are there any plans for marriage?” Ailsa said

“I have not told him yet, I just found out myself” Barbra said

“Well I hope he does the right thing” Ailsa said smiling

“He doesn’t live in the City, so I am hoping he will move there to help me with the baby” Barbra said

“Oh, where does he live?” Ailsa said then chewed on her sandwich

“Summer Bay” Barbara said then dank her lemonade will Ailsa stopped chewing and looked straight at Barbra.

 

 

Stewart General Store-Summer Bay

Alf looked up as the door to the store opened and Frank and Steve walked in

“Hello Mr Stewart” Steve said as they walked towards the counter

“Ah, good day, what can I get for you two” Alf said

“Just a few things for a family breakfast” Steve said as he picked up a basket  as Frank waited by the newspapers

“Look Frank” Alf said to which Frank looked up at him

“I know that thing have not always been good between us but  you are my son in law and I want to thank you for what you did for Ailsa last night. I don’t know why you were there but I am glad you were there and saved her life” Alf said

“No worries” Frank said and looked back down at the newspapers. Alf bent down and picked up a bottle then walked around the counter and to Frank.

“Thank you” Alf said as he stretched out his hand for Frank to shake and also reached out his other hand with a bottle of champagne

Frank hesitated then shook Alfs hand and took the bottle

“Thanks” Frank said as Alf walked back around the counter while Steve walked over with the basket

“So when are you headed home?” Alf said as he started bagging the items from the basket

“Wednesday morning” Frank said as he took his wallet out of his back pocket

“Oh I can give you a lift to the airport, you are my son in law” Alf said with a smile

“Thanks but no, thanks, ill be fine” Frank said

“Ok, let me know if you change your mind, I bet Ruthy can’t wait to have you home” Alf said

Frank smiled

“That place you live in is really small, maybe I can help you both get something bigger for when my grandkids start coming along” Alf said

“We are fine there for now, I am saving up to get us something bigger” Frank said

My daughter really loves you, I just called your place, she didn’t answer I can imagine she must be asleep and counting the days until you are home…she always knew you two would be back together again” Alf said as Frank smiled and Steve looked at Frank

 

 

3am Manhattan-New York

Roo couldn’t sleep she was still excited about yesterday and couldn’t believe that the girl from the small town of Summer Bay was making something of her life in New York, something she never dreamed of ever doing. Roo leaned forward to look at the time on her watch, it read 3am. As Roo moved back  under the cover it caused Donavan to move. He put his arm around Roo and pulled her tighter into him. At that moment Roo didn’t think about her possible pregnancy, she didn’t even think about her husband Frank, all she thought about was being where she was with someone who she really wanted to be with. Roo smiled , exhaled,  closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
