I realise the show is probably on production break, but I think it’s disgusting. Kate Ritchie, as ever, is a wonderful ambassador for the show.

So the show has been on my entire life. I started watching reguarly in the early 2000s. I just loved the reflection and portrayl of Aussie Lifestyle and Family life. Home and Away was always my fav soap from Aussie. So very interesting too seeing each year and the cast. And how it is has evolved over the years.
Homeandawayfan. Posted January 18, 2018 Report Posted January 18, 2018 Little did we know that on the 17th Jan 1988 the show would still be alive and kicking 30 years later in January 2018. I bet if Ray Meagher was asked in Jan 1988 "Do you see Alf being around in 30 years time" he'd say "God No".

Old H&A Fan Posted February 8, 2018 Report Posted February 8, 2018 In TV soap years, Home And Away would be about 150 or 200 human years. Well past its expiry date. How much longer do they have to keep dragging it on, and why can't they axe it and start a new series?
