Okay, well...what I assume is the end of Ebony was a bit anti-climatic to be honest. After being several steps ahead of everyone up until now, she suddenly dropped several IQ points when the plot required it.I mean, I guess even Colby wouldn't have gone into a room with a puddle of petrol in the doorway, but given that she didn't even seem to want to do her gloating in person, it feels like instead of having to come out into the open, a simple bomb under the floorboards would have got rid of both Colby and Robbo without giving her position away.(It also feels like if Robbo was telling the truth about the petrol fumes, then given how long that lighter was being waved about they'd all be dead anyway. So he could probably have just stamped the flames out without making an overly dramatic leap to catch it.)Also, someone seemed to twig that Ebony being caught doesn't actually put Robbo in the clear, so she abruptly loses it and starts babbling about "You made me kill my mother!" rather than playing innocent.Colby seemed to get out of that room remarkably quickly:Did Robbo find a key or do his talents stretch to breaking padlocks with his bare hands? No doubt the fact Robbo broke his bail will be quietly forgotten, and this will somehow see Colby reinstated even though, a few misleading tip-offs aside, all Ebony did was expose a breach of regulations he actually committed. At least Murray got to be reasonably competent for once.

It was nice to see the Willow/Jasmine friendship get a bit of an airing, and Willow's honesty with Mason is a good sign. That said, I can't blame Justin for being suspicious, although he probably should have let her explain instead of constantly interrupting.

So after briefly threatening to be interesting, we're back to Hunter being creepy, as he suddenly starts acting almost predatory towards Christina who didn't seem 100% comfortable with the attention (although not completely against it either). From some of the comments about Leah I've heard elsewhere, I was expecting her to be full-on puritanical but actually she came across as pretty sensible and reasonable and Hunter could do well to listen rather than dismissing her as protective.

You're right Red. Definitely a suspension of disbelief required there. Still, I'm sure no door could possibly withstand one hefty kick from Robbo's strong right foot! As for the fumes, he kept that lighter exactly 1mm above the level at which they would have ignited. Because Robbo. Obviously.

I'm kind of sorry to see Ebony go. I enjoyed her slightly bonkers antics. Plus, Tim Franklin did such a good job of playing the damsel in distress that I wouldn't mind seeing her turn up again further down the track to terrorize him - giving him a heart attack by jumping out of the shower or something. Speaking of showers I would have liked to see Colby break down in the bathroom after realising the enormity of what he'd just been through. Instead we got Jasmine acting like she was the one trapped in a soon to be raging inferno. Compared to calm and collected Willow (who, given she’s known Colby since they were kids, had more reason to be genuinely terrified of losing him) she was a total nightmare. Certainly not someone I’d want around in a crisis.

(Disclaimer. There may be an alterior motive for me being interested in seeing Colby in a shower scene. I couldn’t possibly comment.)

Well, it really looks like Hunter wants this thing with Christina to work....which is why I want it to fail completely miserably for him. Yes I am that mean. ?

Well, Ebony was handled rather anti-climatically, to be honest. She's recently been fun to watch, but she seemed in yesterday's episode to rapidly change from a cold, calculating pyschopath to a tragic, mentally-troubled woman in a rather short bit of time. And I'm rather confused as to why she was still there. I get that she wanted to set the room with Colby on fire, but there were many other ways to kill off someone that any sensible villain would use without being caught. Or maybe she didn't care then. It's hard to tell. And of course, it fell down to Robbo to save the day. Robbo- I mean this with all my heart-become a cop again. You're the only one competent enough to do the job successfully. Though  in all fairness to them, Murray and his cops were very quick to get on the scene for once. It was good to see Jasmine and Willow's friendship continue, especially since how it fell apart last time. While I think Jasmine was over-panicking way too much, I can understand why. She's not really used to these life-and-death situations, compared to Colby, Robbo and Willow, who have dealt with these before. I really liked how worried she was for everyone, it was nice.

I honestly smiled when Justin said he loved Willow, I'd really like to see these two become a couple again.

Also, welcome back Leah! ? It's great to hear VJ and Luc and Ash doing well in Cyprus.

Did anyone else want to jump into the screen and bop Colby one for being stupid enough to walk into that trap? Ugh... I facepalmed through both eps.

Yes. Yes I did. I may have shouted at him. Out loud. (Not remotely embarrassing.)

So… The aftermath of Justin’s declaration to Willow was decidedly awkward and at least he realised it was very bad timing. She was harsh to Dean initially but did manage to have a proper conversation with him eventually. I did really like the scene of Justin and Dean on the beach: They still don’t like each other but they know they’re on the same side. But now they’ve got Dean doing stupid stuff just for the sake of it. If he’s so hard up that he’s begging old friends for jobs and going back to the fake credit cards (I assume he has some he hasn’t used, because presumably it wasn’t just Irene that cancelled them on seeing money going out?), why doesn’t he just take Justin up on his offer of casual shifts? (Also, why was there apparently no food in the flat? Don’t Robbo and Colby eat or do they live on meals out and takeaways?)

Okay, has Coco had a growth spurt? She’s suddenly towering over Ziggy which I don’t remember being the case before. And she’s got the “Do as I say, not as I do” brigade on her back. Admittedly, she and Ryder haven’t really done much as an actual couple, so in a sense it is early days, but they’ve known each other quite a while, they get on and they’re both over the age of consent, so if they do both want to do it, then there are worse ideas. Of course, whether or not they both want to do it is definitely in the balance: Ryder doesn’t seem to have a clue what Coco is thinking. I liked how Alf passed the buck onto Roo and then wasn’t fooled at all by Ryder playing clueless, but also took the time to tell him how much he respects him.

Good news for Olivia, hopefully this shower are better than the Find. (I’ve still got no idea what happened to the exclusivity clause but probably no point asking.) She’s far from perfect but I sometimes like her, especially when she’s away from Hunter, so be nice if it works out.

Oh, where to start? Well, as nice as it was to get some Morgan banter, I did think Brody could do with a bit more sympathy.Mason's teasing was in character, but Tori acted like she didn't really care about his worries and just wanted to get rid of him.I did like the later scene of Mason completely out of his depth while asking Tori about the pregnancy test, although ironically he did give good advice in the end. While I don't mind stories of VJ and Ash co-parenting Luc, I am glad that it sounds like Ash is getting his own place.

Ziggy was a bit of a conundrum today. On the one hand, she suddenly seems to have become the responsible one, shocked at Dean viewing her as one of the squares when a year ago she was getting up to that sort of thing herself, while also doing her best to watch out for Coco when it isn't really wanted or needed. On the other, the immature side that caused her to sabotage Brody's honeymoon plans and take down his award seems to have resurfaced, even though she did eventually listen to him.Dean did what Willow should have done and destroyed the skimmer instead of just chucking it in the bin where anyone could retrieve it.(At least, I assume he did: That blow didn't seem to do any damage at all!) Ryder and Coco's conundrum seemed to be settled with a "Not yet": Ryder's still a hormonal teenage boy so he doesn't seem completely against the idea, but he doesn't want it to be something they do when they've got a spare minute either.Coco nearly ended this date the same as she did the first one, ironically for the opposite reason.Given they both got given $50, unless that was a really expensive pizza they've made a tidy profit.

Ben and Maggie get some good news but it doesn't reach their faces.Maybe they've had too many false dawns to fully believe that things are okay this time and don't want to get too excited too quickly.Or maybe the cancer's been dominating their lives for so long, they're not sure what to do now.
