Woah, so after all these years the mystery of Helena's whereabouts has finally been resolved? How did I not hear about this in any of the other threads in the forum? Perhaps I didn't look hard enough? But there didn't seem to be any mention of this revelation in any of the 'Where's Helena?' posts I have scrolled through, only that someone claimed she was now living in New Zealand.

And providing this is definitely her (it sure looks like her), how were TPTB unable to locate her for so long, especially since she has been practising for at least 18 years in the professions listed in her bio, presumably under the same name she was credited on H&A as? She even works in the Sydney CBD, so was hardly in witness protection or living overseas. I'm genuinely confused as to why the likes of Bevan Lee were unable to locate her.

Either way, she looks great and I'm so happy to hear she is doing great things for people these days.

I thought her character of Lynn was an important one, but sad to hear her tenure ended when it did. I'd love for her to return to the show more than anyone else, even just for a cameo, but we don't know the circumstances surrounding the situation and am content to know that she's happy and seems to be doing what she loves.

Hey everyone,

Now that we know what happened to Helena Bozich - https://ebb-flow-therapies.com.au/about-us/

Can someone tell me the source of this promo photo of Lynn from 1988? Is this from the fan card?

Thanks for that. She looks great in that photo and seems to be doing well for herself. I had never seen her in Home and Away until I rewatched the first season. In my opinion she was hard done by, and was written out too soon. There were weaker characters and actors in the cast. It's interesting that she never returned in the years afterwards. And that when Pippa mentioned her some years later, it was to say they were no longer in touch. They really drew a line under Lynn, didn't they?

I recall reading somewhere that Lynn was considered too young for the teen's older storylines and too young for Sally's storyline, which I find odd as I thought she was the same age as Steven? I agree - I'd say Lance, Floss and Neville were very one-dimensional and were weaker than her.

I wouldn't blame Helena one bit if she never wanted to return to H&A. She seems to be doing a great job with something she is passionate about. But the way the current producers have absolutely destroyed the show over the past 15 or so seasons, abandoning its history in the process, would only result in the return of Lynn making no sense whatsoever.

I wrote a whole lot more, but decided to make it a new post instead, since it goes off the topic of Helena Bozich.

They hadn't decided to put the focus on the teenagers yet, so they might also have decided she was one kid too many. Which is ironic when you look at how many youngsters were living in Pippa's house just a few years later.

The return of almost anybody from that era would make no sense now.  They're all middle-aged now though ironically that's closer in age to many of the cast now lol. Certainly, there were many occasions in the past when Lynn could've come to visit. One that springs to mind is the family reunion from 2000 when Sally was marrying Kieran. Pippa, Frank, Steven, Carly, Floss, Lance, Martin and Jack all came back for that one and it was lovely to see. It would make you think that she wasn't on good terms with the producers, but I doubt we'll ever learn the truth.

It is great that she found another career and is doing something fulfilling. Even if she had stayed for longer, she'd probably have ended up in much the same place anyway. Many of the young actors from that original cast left the industry a long time ago and now have normal jobs.
