Dan F Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Thanks guys and gals! It was a great day in a perfect setting, with a lot of pomp and circumstance! We also got to see Mike Newell (director of 'Four Weddings' and one of the Harry Potter's) as he was receiving an honorary doctorate! We were waiting ages for our row to be taken around the back and ready to walk on the platform - we go around but instead of queuing up we're told to sit in some seats. Then just before my name was to be called the chancellor said 'That concludes the first part of the awards presentations' - and I then had to wait for Mike to receive his award before they carried on with mine Aw I wouldn't have minded so much Mez, with it being a Kiwi text!
