I don't really know if this counts as celebrating as I haven't actually had the results through yet, but anyway, I'm still pretty happy about it. I had my GCSE Italian aural exam today...it went better than I expected it to do, but I find it really hard to judge how well I've done in aurals, like when I think I've done completely awful in them, I'm pleasantly surprised, so I may be totally off the mark with this one. But I'm pretty damn pleased all the same! One time....a gazillion more exams to go

We don't do Maths modules :s We just have one looong exam to sit at the end. I think I did OK in my Problem Solving coursework, although I think I flunked my Statistics one. As long as I do well in Italian, I'm not bothered about Maths anymore (of course, I do wanna get a decent pass, don't get me wrong). I've decided the subjects that I'm really bothered about doig super-duper well in are those that I'm taking for A-Level, and well, if I happen to do well in the others then that's just an added bonus!

Have been eating chocolate cake to celebrate that I have picked up the brush after 1 year (and more) involuntary hiatus.

Well done on your Maths girls.

And Mar, that is fantastic. Maybe this is a sign that things might start picking up in general? I hope so.

I have had so many essays due and exams this week, and because I am very bad at organisation I am really far behind. It is now 5am and I really need to get this essay in early, like by 10am, because I have to do the next one tomorrow, and it is still very very far from done. About a thousand words, in fact.

But I went into the kitchen just now to make a cup of tea, and I looked out the window, and the sun is coming up. It is so beautiful, I can't take my eyes off the sky and the hills in the distance. I don't think I've ever seen sunrise before, not in this country at least. It's so calm and peaceful, and the birds are out and everything. I can't believe how amazing it is, I've never seen the sky this colour.

It has made me really grateful to be up at this time, and put me in a really happy mood. So I'm celebrating my first sunrise.

ETA: It's now half six, and I went to get another cup of tea just now, and as I was looking out the window I saw a magpie eating a kebab! Someone had dropped their half-eaten kebab on the ground, still in its box, and the magpie was sat in front of it, eating it! It flew away pretty quickly. Which proves that kebabs are DIRTY. LMAO though, it was well funny.

ETA II: It is now half past 8. I am no longer celebrating the stupid sunrise. I also seem to have misplaced my marbles.
