MarMar Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Well, I guess I can since none of you live here. Sol, Arya's foster-mommy, has been reluctant to tell people in case it falls through. Her, and Arya's foster-daddy, Hedgard's biggest dream is to own their own cafè. There is a rather charming little cafè in the city center with the world's best chocolate cake. Sol knows the owner (she was the lady who found Arya outside Indian Tandoori Restaurant and brought home both take-away dinner and a little kitty-cat). The owner is pregnant, and has to sell. We are buying.

They paied NOK800 000, but they'd rather sell to Sol and Hedgard and have the place run in a similar manner like it is now (ecological wine etc), than sell to a previous owner of a rather hip pub... So, either the 4th person comes along with his money, or we (Terje) pays NOK250 000 and split it in 3. Terje (The Boyfriend) will still go on with his job, which he really likes, and I will be responsible for "his hours" = I have a job.

MarMar Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 We talked to Sol today, and she agrees that the 4th person has to decide within a week. Terje has app. 150 000 in stocks and savings etc, so it is not a problem for him to get those money fast. If they are to split it in 3, he will have to talk to the bank about renewing the loan on his car (his business), and in order to do that, he has to talk to his parents which helped him get such a good loan when he started his own business two years ago. So, in a week's time we'll know how much we have to pay.
