Red Ranger 1 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Hey, you know the way Channel 5 in the UK are taking a break during the summer...?! Does that mean we can't use any av's from those episodes until the UK catches up...?! There's an Avatar Authorisation thread in...somewhere, I think it's the Suggestions section, and guidelines somewhere but for a quick overview:It depends on what the av is and whether it contains spoilers. To use an example which I hope you don't think is being too presumptuous:Suppose there's a scene of Charlie and Brax talking and you want to use that as your avatar, that's fine because all it shows is that there's going to be an episode with Charlie and Brax in in the future.Suppose Charlie and Brax get married(to use an extreme example, maybe), an avatar of Charlie in a wedding dress standing in a church with Brax in a morning suit would count as a spoiler and you'd have to wait until the episodes were shown on Channel 5. LauraPhilly!! Posted June 17, 2011 Report Posted June 17, 2011 Thanks very that RR1! At the time I thought here would be the best place to ask, but, as you said, the Avatar Authorisation would have been the more appropriate place! Thanks again! Quote
lissyloo87 Posted June 24, 2011 Report Posted June 24, 2011 Help, Aussie slang advice needed by an English person. How would an Aussie man say to another 'you want to watch out or I'll beat you up, that'll teach you not to do that again!' What would sound more Australian? apologies if i've misinterpreted what you're asking (the correct Aussie way of saying the above by an English person?) but it would probably be something like: 'Careful mate or I'll bash you, then maybe you'll think twice next time. Now rack off!' As an Australian person I can say that is some what correct however 'rack off' would be replaced with something more explitive and violent and 'bash you' replaced with smash or kill as an example (not literal of course, just for effect). Good inturpretation though. Quote

QUIET ACHIEVER Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 Does anyone know 7two does the home and away catchup anymore? Yes 7Two does H&A catchups of current Australian paced episodes on Sundays from 6 am - 8.30 am. Alternatively, you can watch them on the official site if you are in Australia. Quote
