Why is it that Pippa was only onscreen for 10 years, yet is still seen as one of the iconic people when home and away is mentioned, but people such as Leah and Irene who have been on marginally longer are not

I see both Leah and Irene as just as iconic as Pippa or any other main stay character.

Also because Pippa was there from the beginning and the show focused around her.

I think its to do with sport being shown  on a Friday
