Inactive User Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 Hey I was just checking out Finaly Robert's profile on the backtothebay.net website and I noticed that Irene had seven children...? Is that true or is it a mistake on the profile? All we know that she had four children; Mick, Nathan and Finaly, Damian. But no mention of her other children. Can anyone please answer my question? Thanks!  Quote

Thanks!  Whoever wrote that one obviously used the original backstory provided in publicity material when Finlay first arrived in the bay, without amending for what we later learned onscreen. Finlay was indeed supposed to be one of seven children at one point, but by the time her siblings were actually mentioned in the show it had been reduced. 1 Quote

I can't remember what specific plot details we learned offhand, but it was mainly a (thinly veiled) semi-autobiographical book about a young surfer growing up in a coastal town, and the bad relationship he had with his father. Whilst Don was pained by the content of the book, he admired Alan's talent for writing and he agreed to honour his wishes to have it published after his death. It came up again in 1999, the book was one on the school syllabus which Vinnie campaigned to have studied at Summer Bay High (Don had obviously chosen an alternative), and a movie crew came to town later in the year to film an adaptation of it. And let's not forget it bobbed up again in 2001 when Seb was introduced. Quote
Wanderer101 Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 Has there ever been a female on male sexual assault storyline in the show ever? Just wondering, since it's possible to actually happen, and I'd like to see that storyline explored. Quote
CaptainHulk Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 ^ Nah but the Closest was Angie Russell/Nick Smith which was more psychological and she spun it out  to make it look like he attempted to Rape her when he confronted her in class.  Quote
dvj1208 Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 I don't know if this is the right place for question, but mods, please free to move it. I am trying to find a dress Denny Miller wore. I have no idea when she wore it or for what event. It was a sky blue knee-length dress with a scooped neckline and she was all dressed up. Sorry, but that is all I remember. Any help, would be HUGELY appreciated. Thanks! xx Quote

Spinach Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 Were there any drug addiction storylines in 2000/2001? Quote

The main one from those two years would have been Flynn's sister Ashley I guess (now there's a profile I need to find a better pic for....). Only other drugs related stuff I can think of offhand would be Sam and his weed in 2000, but it wasn't really a big addiction storyline as such. 1 Quote
