  • I originally said Tane was going to think twice before having a one night stand.
  • You said there are men and women like that and it wasn't a one night stand, obviously referring to Anne (I never said Anne/Tane had a one night stand).
  • I then said it was nothing to do with gender, re the point about men and women like that and referred to when Anne had Tane/Felicity captive and Anne was actually talking about the various one night stands Tane had with the women he picked up at the club which triggered Anne's jealousy (Again I was not referring to Anne when talking about having a one night stand).
  • You mentioned you said Anne never saw Tane.  I never said you didn't say that but mentioned Tane didn't see Anne as that coupled with the one night stands enforces the point about Anne's jealousy (which you misinterpreted originally).

Mackenzie needs to get rid of Bella ASAP.  She's already looking like a liability.  Putting aside the not so great first day, it's not a particularly good environment living and working with someone as she alluded to.  TBH - I'm pretty tired of Bella.  I don't find her very interesting and to me I dunno, it just feels like everything is forced with her.

I don't think Nikau's much better either.  I would probably fall asleep listening to John all day but he was a bit disruptive during the lifeguard coaching.

I did think Leah was being harsh with Theo initially with regards to the online videos and thought Justin made a very good point about using the platform to make money but I have to concede Leah made a very good argument with regards to anything online effectively being permanent.

Ari didn't even know Matthew's name until last week so Mia definitely hasn't been talking about him.

While I didn't like Cash playing the heavy big brother with Tane (which didn't exactly help before), he did have a point. While it had no bearing on Anne's behaviour, Felicity reading too much into Tane's attention caused the trouble between them in the first place and they could do without more mixed messages. At least he tried to put her straight when she kissed him.Credit to Nikau for apologising to Felicity: I thought he was just going to awkwardly turn away at first. She didn't exactly let him off the hook, but it might do her some good in the long run even if it didn't help him.He even managed to make things up with John, who was more reasonable than usual.

Justin and Leah spent most of the episode worrying about Theo obsessing over (and borderline stalking) Chloe but then just give him the green light.Oh well...

Where do you think Cash went for 18 Months? Surely it’s got something to do with his and Flicks dad

I can’t believe they seem to be heading in a looks like relationship with Flick and Tane I don’t think that would have any chance of happening after believing each others stalker

Theo kind of turned very odd now he seems to have become obsessed with Chloe He’s going to get her anyway with his pranks plan to try and show Ryder in a bad light

Theo presumably likes Chloe more than she likes him.  He's definitely coming across as far too keen, with Justin having to warn him not to keep texting her.

Given that Tane was in intensive care, it is surprising how quickly he's up and about especially him mentioning the burning in his lungs.  I assume there would be some damage (I'm sure I've heard a month's recovery for every week in intensive care).

When I saw the preview last week my first thoughts are that Tane is being beyond stupid but I am glad he just wants to keep things at a friendship level.   I do feel Tane has led Felicity on a bit.  The way they were looking at each other in the Surf Club, Tane saying he wanted to see her, spending the evening with her, agreeing to spend the night with her, saying he needed it, asking her for a Coffee and going round to her caravan saying that he would be what ever she wanted him to be.  Certainly from Felicity's perspective I can see why she would think there's romance, especially given that they've squared things, she doesn't want to be near Cash and doesn't actually have any friends and is not really in a good place.  I think Tane wants to spend time with her because he's struggling with what happened and she's the only person he can relate to.  Despite him rejecting her I do hope they can be friends. and perhaps if he gave her an explanation she would understand.

I was actually glad Felicity didn't really let Nikau off the hook.

I can't really say I blame Cash for being displeased about it and also agreed with his reasoning. Problem is if someone feels as though they are being told what to do there's a natural resistance to it so it's no surprise Tane went round to Felicity's caravan shortly afterwards.  I quite enjoyed Jasmine being off with him ? Knew Nasser got into her head!

I didn't say Mia had mentioned Matthew by name just may have said Chloe's dad wasn't in the picture anymore when they first met.

Not a spoiler just my theory how Matthew found Mia.  The incident at Salt may have made the Nationals, there had been a celeb there who left just before it happened.   The report(s) could have gone along these lines:  Three local businesses hit in chemical leak in coastal town.  Then Salt, the Juice Bar and Gym got a mention along with the  owners name.  Mia Anderson not exactly being a common name it struck a chord with Matthew.  He did a bit of digging and that is how he found out it was Mia and about Chloe.  Only my guess mind.   Anyways they meet up in tonight's episode.

Just had one stalker storyline we don't want another one just yet.    It's coming back to bite Theo on the bum about the way he used to treat girls  now he's met someone he really likes, can't shake off his old behaviour by trying to be a flash git.

Wouldn't have been easy but Tane toughened it out by going back to the gym, well the office mainly as that is where it happened.

By heck Tane and Flick went for one hell of walk didn't they?  Daylight when they set off, night time when they got back - where did they go?

I like how he reassured her she had nothing to blame herself for, she could have had no idea what Anne was like.  Them being kidnapped is something no-one else could understand even if it was for a short time.  Tane, naturally,  was wary about her invite to stay the night but they did just actually sleep? together. Inevitable he'd be seen coming out of Flick's van by Cash - not the first time - but this time totally innocent.  There has to be more to Cash warning off Tane so vehemently not just because of what happened just recently.  I think Flick read the  "I'll be whatever you want me to be" the wrong way.  Has she got rejection issues?

I'm glad Nik didn't bottle out of his apology and although Flick didn't reject it she wasn't ready to fully accept it. Ari managed to talk Nik into going back to Life Saving School OK he wasn't good academically at school, but  look at Tane who would have thought he'd be going to TAFE to be a fully fledged gym instructor.  John can be down on people but if he believes someone could be good at something he's wiling to give them another chance. He did admit he'd not given Nik long to learn the written work.

I think when Cash said to Jas it wasn't his secret to tell when he disappeared for 11 months he was referring to Flick. Something happened during that time, there's more in that album I reckon that we've seen and then there are her panic attacks we've seen her have.  Just another theory on my part but both Flick and Jasmine lost their mums when they were young, Flick's dad couldn't cope so killed himself, Jas' couldn't either but he just took off.  Flick had Cash but Jas didn't have anyone so went into foster care.

I'm glad Tane and Felicity cleared the air pretty quickly rather than going back to square one.Tane again came across as the most reasonable in the face of Cash's heavy brother act, but a few pointed remarks from Ari seem to have convinced him to back off anyway.

After a few episodes of them being almost civil, Ryder can't bear to have Theo in the same room again: It's like they're back to being rivals over Chloe. In the circumstances, they could probably have used a hand.

Mia really doesn't know what town she's in: Secrets always come out and the longer you keep them, the harder it's going to be.Not only is she keeping stuff secret from Chloe, she's not even told Ari that Matthew's around...although given his vow to snap him in half, that might be just as well!

I suspected the way Cash reacted when Felicity wasn't initially getting the hint with Tane and how he thought she was behind Tane's attempted murder, there was a backstory there.  I'm not surprised Jasmine and Felicity were able to reach an understanding regarding Felicity being a 'nutjob' given Jasmine knows all about...you know...being crazy.?

I'm actually glad Felicity was cool about Tane rejecting her kiss.  He explained it very well.  Simple and to the point.  Both of them have gone through a traumatic experience and neither are in the right place for anything.  I haven't been keen on Cash warning Tane off either and wasn't keen on Ari suggesting that Tane listens to Cash for the reason being that I do think Felicity needs someone separate from Cash/Jasmine and Tane's still going through something as well.

Mia's only delaying the inevitable, hoping that Matthew just goes away.  Looking forward to seeing Ari's first meeting with him.

Chloe obviously likes Theo although given how smug he was, he presumably thinks it's pretty much in the bag with her, which was a start contrast from the previous episode.  It's becoming harder for Chloe and Ryder to work together which I would imagine would get worse as Theo and Chloe get closer.

I dunno, it feels like we're probably meant to be sympathising with Mia here, but the show's had the best part of the year to make us like Mia and I still find her somewhat cold, and Matthew's coming across as more reasonable.Maybe we should be nodding in agreement with Mia accusing him of assaulting her, but it seems like he's genuine in not seeing it like that, and it also seems like it was his parents, not him, that tried to make her have an abortion. It's still not entirely clear how he found out that a)Mia's in Summer Bay and b)she went through with the pregnancy, while not finding out c)she has a daughter called Chloe. He said he heard about the chemical attack but I'm not sure why the news reports would focus on Mia and mention that she has a 20-year-old child. (After all, if reports just said Mia was a mother, then she could have had a child later.)Mia really is just saving up trouble trying to control the situation.

Ryder finds himself caught up in Hurricane Marilyn, and Irene was extremely off balance as well.It feels like Marilyn's hired out her services as a tarot reader before, so not sure why that was so surprising, although she does seem to be drifting somewhat.Logan probably should have come up with better cover...

I'm very much enjoying Marilyn's material at the moment - the scenes with her and Ryder were excellent ?...although to me at least it does highlight the fact that we could do with a more deliberately antagonistic character in the regular cast to come between characters more. (And by that I mean actual troublemakers, not just Theo rubbing Ryder up the wrong way with his small fry antics!!) At the moment the regulars all seem too nice for their own good...but maybe that's just me...

As for the Mia and Chloe storyline...another long-lost father? I've lost track of how many times that storyline has turned up in the last few years ? To be honest this storyline isn't particularly gripping at the moment but I guess we'll see...

It feels like they've recycled part of the Grant/Charlie/Ruby storyline.  Guy turns up in town looking for his former girlfriend, wants to meet his daughter and had sex with his teenage partner without consent.

Chloe obviously thought Matthew was up to something when he offered to help her take the stuff to her car so I was a bit surprised Chloe didn't notice him when he was at the Diner afterwards.  And whilst it was business related, Irene giving Matthew Chloe's contact details very much reminded me of Leah just handing them over to Grant.

I do agree that certainly what Matthew wants is reasonable and he's giving Mia the opportunity to tell Chloe about him herself.  He also seemed quite mortified at the suggestion that he assaulted her.  I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when Ari catches up with him.

And we get the first conversation with Mackenzie and Mia which suggests Mia stealing him off her is completely in the past now.  I actually didn't mind their interaction.

I'm still quite enjoying Marilyn's bluntness.  In a way it's sad how she's afraid to be alone.  But I can see why she finds Irene a nuisance even though Irene has her best interests at heart.
