Can't believe it's over! :o

The finale wasn't what I was expecting... The Cohen's trying to kick a gay couple out of a house  But it was funny, it was one thing after another. Kirstin giving birth in the home, Julie and Bullit and everyone turning up for the wedding, Ryan and Taylor making out and then Frank calling Julie, then those two gay guys looked at each other and goes "Who are these people?"

Frank calling Julie! I was so happy he did that. And then he entered the church and they weren't there! My heart sank, I felt so sorry for him.

Loved the earthquake episode when Seth was running back with the trolly and Julie and Frank are driving past

:o And the Cohen house after the top story caved in! Awww...

I think you have to put spoiler tags on..

I had to laugh at all the zombie talk in 'the night moves'. It was so funny that Seth was scared about the zombies.

RYAN: "Sounds like you hit something".

SETH: "Oh god. Not a body".

SETH: "I have to go and get you some help"

RYAN: "What about the zombies?"

SETH: "That's a really good point"

TAYLOR: "What about Seth being ravished by zombies by the side of the road"

SUMMER: "I'm gonna go 1 8 7 on that zombie ass".

SUMMER: "I have a missing boyfriend, a sick rabbit, and i can't listen to your mothers whining any longer".

TAYLOR: "Okay, we'll brave the zombies together"

And you gotta love this.....

TAYLOR (about the gun): "Locked and loaded: just like mama likes it".

And from the last ep i loved this line from Bullitt.....

JULIE: "Where's Kiki?"

BULLITT: "Yeah, about that. She dropped child up in San Fran".

So yeah; i loved the last ep.

I'm choosing to believe that Ryan and Taylor ended up together. They seemed like they were going to go with a long distance relationship when they they were talking on the train, and they gave each other that smile at Seth and Summer's wedding; so i'm interperating that as a 'they are together smile'.

That final episode surpassed all things that I could have ever expected from a finale.

The earthquake episode was superb and provided some good drama for all characters. We got some fantastic final insights into the relationships between Taylor/Summer, Kirsten/Sandy, Ryan/Seth and Kaitlyn/Julie. Then that scene where everyone was leaving the hospital together was a fantastic way to tie everyone up together. Great stuff.

Then the finale brought on the emotional impact of it all. The moment where Summer gave Julie that small necklace with Marissa's face the emotion really started for me. Then Summer's goodbye was so sad. The scene of Ryan walking through the house with the flashbacks were superb. Then the look into the future of where everyone was headed the next 12 years, including Summer and Seth getting married and Julie graudating from college were such moments. I cried and I cried through all those final bits. I'll admit that. lol.

So it's over. All over. There is some connection that I've always had with this show that I can't see myself ever getting with any other show. I can remember all the way back when Channel 9 first started airing it one summer. I saw the first episode and became obsessed. I would literally count down the days until every episode... then they axed it. I was devastated. Then Channel 10 brought it back a few months later, and Season 1 was without a doubt the best season I have ever seen of any TV show. Season 2 lost a lot of the shows edge, but it still definitely had it's moments. Big improvements in season 3 with ultimately the death of Marissa Cooper. Then season 4 would have to have been my fave since the original. A lot of people have criticised it but maybe it's my love of Taylor that made me enjoy it so much. *Memories*. Now it's over. I've got the first 3 seasons on DVD and a large poster of the cast on my bedroom wall. The memories will live on.

So depressed that it won't be coming back. R.I.P. O.C.

I much preferred the second last episode to the finale. The finale seemed a bit rushed but it was good to see what everyone was doing several years after the earthquake....

The last 2 episodes were AMAZING! I loved every second. The way the show finished with every loose end tied was perfect. In the end every one was content and ready for new beginnings and whole new chapters. It was great!

The Seth/Ryan scenes as they were trying to get help (in the 2nd last ep) were fantastic. Seth's list of all the people Ryan had bashed . Summer/Taylor in the roof was great too. Taylor and that gun was priceless.

So yeah, I really really liked the finale. :) I can't believed it's all over, but I think it was a very appropriate ending. I cried :( .

Its been a long time since I watched The OC but I'm glad I got the chance to watch the finale.

The last two episode were great and it was good that they tied up all the loose ends as not many shows do that. I'm also glad that Marissa was mentioned as it felt like she wasn't forgotten.

One of my favourite scenes has to be when Ryan walked around the Cohen's house for the last time and they featured flashbacks from the pilot episode.

The ending was great as it looks like Ryan is following in Sandy's footsteps by helping a young kid in need!! :)
