I think the reason that Seth and Summer were weird after the engagement is because Seth was rushed into deciding that he wanted to marry Summer because of the chance of a baby, but he didn't want to say in the future that he only married her because she was pregnant, because that wouldn't have been the case... He probably would have asked her later on when they were older, if he'd had the chance. Summer on the other hand has realised that Seth isn't mature enough for her, or so it would seem. So I think she only agreed to marry him in case there was a baby. But when there was no baby she realised that she just got engaged to Seth for no good reason... kind of sucky.

Now to Ryan's dad. How awesome that Ryan's the son of Hercules . My friend is a Hercules fan (mostly because of the spin-off, Xena) and he constantly refers to Julie as Valesca, cause that was her name in Hercules . So now he's all excited that the actors have been reunited for the OC, hehehe. It's quite cute.

haha yes he is Hercules. Everytime i saw the ad i'd think who is that, but when i watched the ep, i was like OMG thats Hercules

I may have to start watching the OC again. It's ending for good soon isn't it?

And I really want to see the aaaawkwardness in the Seth and Summmer "love" scenes since the Brody/Bilson split. That must be good fun to be around

^ I think they'd already finishing filming when they split, but if they were having problems it may still be awkward.

OC won't be on this week due to taking a week break in the US.

It's not necessarily ending for good. This season was always intended for 16 episodes. I will be surprised if it's not renewed for a 5th season. With the new US network CW I 'm pretty sure it will be renewed.
