Okay, so Mia did manage to head over to the farm in person, but ironically she chose the one night when Chloe wasn’t there. It was unfair of her to take it out on Tane, the one member of the family still willing to spend time with her, but at least she apologised. Dean getting snippy with him was uncalled for as well. Chloe’s lies became increasingly transparent and her victim acts seems to be wearing a bit thin.

Looks like the poker night was a success then, in more ways than one. Well, unless you’re one of the drones stood at the bottom of the stairs trying to work out what “closed” means. Looks like Marilyn may be seeking a new direction, given her apathy over the Diner? Except that next episode she’s suddenly relying on the Diner to give her life meaning!

Oh, and after all that, Dimitri’s turned up after all. It’s a shame that we’ve got a rare occasion of a character turning up after over a decade’s absence, played by the same actor no less, and it’s just to be a guest villain. It kind of undoes his 2003 character arc, where he noted he’d been too busy being the dutiful son to have a proper relationship with his siblings and managed to relax a bit and get on better with Leah and Alex, although it fits his 2000s portrayal for him to be more concerned with the appearance of things than the reality. Ironic that the BTTB archaeologists unearthed a reference to him being married with two children and another on the way, only for the show to seemingly decide that he, Cassandra and Theo are the whole family! So where’s she gone anyway?

China? Timbuktu? The Moon for all we know ,to get away from him!?

Maybe these other kids were either packed off to relatives or Xed out of continuity and  I'm guessing Theo was "the one on the way"?

*Fred Jones impression* "C'mon, Gang let's split up and look for Clues!"?

I'm not sure at what point we were told that (should probably check the preview articles again) but Theo must have been born before we last saw Dimitri (which was less than 17 years ago), probably before we first saw him (19 years ago).

Okay, I think the only explanation that makes sense at this point is that Chloe has sinister mind control powers. It can only explain all the complete 180s from everyone involved.Bella goes from throwing her out to beating herself up for being a bad friend.Nikau, in the space of one scene, goes from being hostile towards her to meekly taking her back to Bella.Dean just rolls over instead of pointing out he wasn't worried about Bella, he was worried about Mia (who Chloe still hasn't spoken to!). And goodness knows what that thing with Theo was, talk about random.Just comfort sex/ego boost, I guess. I do though take Bella's point that Dean wouldn't turn his back on his friends, no matter how irrational they were being. As she said, another one to chalk up to her lack of social awareness!

Dimitri hasn't really let the mask slip with Leah and Justin, although he's obviously being a bit volatile.Theo is, of course, doing the soap thing of not telling anyone the important thing.

Correct, it's already been confirmed in dialogue that Theo is 20 years old (or at least he was in October). It was Dimitri's first appearance in 2003 where it was mentioned about his third child being on the way.

Dean caught Chloe out in that lie - she said she thought Nik had called Mia when we and he knew full well he hadn't and so had to think on her feet.  Tane did catch her on the lie she'd spoken to Mia and made arrangements for the next day which he'd informed Nik about and passed onto Bella. Thing is when you tell so many lies to people you get tripped up, you have to have a very good memory to get away with it.    OK you wanted to have some brekkie before you called your mum but then it was lunchtime and she still hadn't.   My theory is she can't be around Mia as Ari had been inside when it was diagnosed with his cancer - though it's known it was very advanced - and they lost that time they could have had together if Ari hadn't 'confessed' to killing Matthew and she feels guilty about it.  Shame the only 'friend' Bella feels she has a connection with - and of course she can't tell Theo why - is because of her not having that many - what about Ryder though - doesn't he count as a friend?

A complete coincidence Theo runs across Chloe - who knows she may have bumped into - he did take her home and it was her that come onto him. Without saying much about their own situation they did emphasise with each other about their respective families.

OK Justin didn't say why  he wasn't working but he didn't tell Ziggy why,  neither did Leah tell them in the Diner why Marilyn stepped in for her shift.  I thought Theo was in his 20's I think he may have mentioned his 21st to Ryder?  Theo's profile says he is the eldest of Dimitri and Cassandra's children. The look on Theo's face when he saw his dad I think gave Justin pause for thought why he wasn't overjoyed to see him. Anyways Dimitri seems to forget  Theo is in his 20's not a teenager to be dragged home though we did find out why, as he seems to think Theo coming home will bring his mum home.   Also something Dimitri said to Justin about bringing your kids in line made him look at him oddly.  Very big hint, if Leah picks up on it, with Cass saying there is a reason why she left but Leah has to ask Theo why. I'm guessing it's because it's Theo's story,

Anyways it looks like John doesn't exactly mask his true feelings when he meets Dimitri next week. ?  Leah did briefly say her dad Theo Snr was a hard man and as Dimitri is the eldest has to be like him.  Let's not forger Leah turned up in the bay as she ran away from an arranged marriage by her dad. Pure speculation here but maybe he was as hard on his boys. Alex was more of a rebel and didn't conform to his families liking.   I think I've read the family dynamic right- Dimitri is the oldest, Chris is the next brother and Leah and Alex's older brother.

I think Maz is feeling  a bit lost begging for shifts as she said to Roo she's missing Grace, she needs something else to fill her life,

If you're talking about our profile then it doesn't say that ?

The thing it does say is that he's Leah's eldest nephew, which was something confirmed in dialogue when he first arrived.

If Theo were to have an older sibling, which seems highly unlikely now, then it would have to be a sister.

Look the writers are always screwing with us what with rewrites.

Debra Stewart save for an flashback appearance has never been talked about since 1988!

Ric Dalby supposedly had a sister!

One ep states Alf's Grandfather was called Duncan, another saying Angus

I would be here alll night!

From what I remember of Theo Sr, he was a fair man in most respects. Just overly traditional.

When Dimitri first came into the bay in the 2000's his wife was called Melinda!  Theo Snr tried to buy Vinnie off to stop him marrying Leah.

I get the explanation about Bella not quite knowing how to deal with friends (yes, she's had Ryder to practice on, but he's never pushed the boundaries like this), but she really is coming across as clueless with Chloe, resulting in them both acting like each other's guard dogs: Chloe dragging Bella away so she couldn't talk to Dean was another red flag, followed by Bella treating Theo like a stalker.I can't feel too sorry for Theo in this case though, given the way both he and Chloe acted while she was with Ryder. It pretty much put me off the idea of anything happening between them, and while Theo is nicer to Ryder these days, Chloe is just as selfish as ever.

In the circumstances, Theo having community service wasn't the best cover story.John did his best to mask his feelings with Dimitri but it was obvious something was up.Dimitri learns that eventually they get big enough to hit back. You'd expect it to have happened before now if it was going to but maybe having a support network in Summer Bay made him more confident.(And being reject by Chloe probably put him in that mood.)

It looked last week as though Marilyn being isolated was going somewhere, and even here her attempt at gossiping with John ended with her being left alone again, but it seems to have turned into Roo annoying her trying to help.

Also worth noting that this week's episodes are directed by Danny Raco, who played Alex, so that's three of the Poulos siblings that are reunited (albeit offscreen ?)

Test of character, I guess, which The V-Man passed with flying colours. Every soap pulls this at some point.

(Example 2008 Corrie, Paul Clayton torches Valandros in a botched insurance job and has to wear  it. Grandad Jack gives him a choice, "you can run but don't bother coming back or you take £10k to stay and do your time like a man and £30k's yours when you get out, lad". Subsequently, Paul legs it but leaves the loot, leaving Jack proud)

Soap Characters name do change, Neighbours' Matt Turner was Craig, then Mark before he finally showed up!

And Rob Donovan on Corrie was referred to as Darren before he surfaced (Name was later retconned as his middle name)

Sorry if I'm drifting!

The only thing that would have added something is if we had a one-sided phonecall that went like this.

Dimitri: You know what? Stuff you, Alexi! You always WERE a spoiled brat! Yeah? Well, Same to you! *clicks phone off*
