I found Dimitri calling Leah his 'kid sister' rather condescending as they're both adults. Isn't Alex the youngest?

Kid brother?

I didn't see a problem with it.  I think Dimitri would call Alex his kid brother or Chris even as they are both his kid brothers.

Hope if Rose & Xander do move in they get time lines of using bathroom, kitchen etc. sorted.  They would both of course have their own arrangements in their own homes so may have to adjust somewhat.  Cash did.?

I think Mac did very well, before she had her meltdown and let things slide.  Just as she was getting back on her feet she was let down by the insurance not paying out.  Flick when she heard his story as I said said Mac wouldn't see the momey again, Nathan would have other commitments before Mac.  Oh btw what's with Ryder praticing his card skills - didn't exactly impress Flick, it's going to take a good long while to get up to the croupiers standard.

Silly spot but Ryder walked out with his backpack on but when he ran into Dean it was gone.

Mac managed to talk Alf round, but I think it's maybe that  he has other things on his mind and he wasn't as on it as he would have been normally.  Dean is Mac's brother - well OK if people want to be that picky half brother - so of course he'd help out by paying her back, she would help him out if the situation was reversed.  He, as Ziggy said it was a case of pot, kettle black, so he would be as stubborn as Mac, plus it is a blokey thing NOT to take money or help from a female.?

That could have been a missed remark by Irene but everything looked OK at the Diner inside, maybe they haven't closed the wharfside entrance yet.  As you said though the part by the bait shop and stairs to Logan & Mac's place may be shut off.  We didn't see it, wonder if it will affect the bait shop?

Mia is now acting like Chloe did with Bella & Nik, wonder if she recognised that and now knows how they felt.  This time though it's her mum so can't shrug her off, they are living in the same place too.  Mia not wanting to go the gym is putting a lot on Tane.  Lovely idea of Ryder to try and give Chloe some time to herself and her friends, Bella and Nik have got over the fact Chloe was clingy not so recently too and still want to help her, sadly although Nik, Bella and him got everything sorted Chloe got home and saw Mia just sitting there so had to cancel, although Mia didn't see her.  Maz sussed it out with Mia just sitting there with just a coffee.  They need another talk. Mia is cleary very unhappy about staying in the bay but feels she ought to stay for Chloe's sake, but really does she need to?   She has Tane, Bella and Nik to lean on.

Alf's episode count this week:Four. Roo was also in four, although she wasn't credited on Monday, so her scene might have been moved from the next episode. Otherwise, only Irene, Marilyn and Justin managed three.

Well...things kind of came to a head between Chloe and Mia, even if they haven't quite sorted out a solution yet.I'm glad Mia ended up having the family meal with Tane and Felicity, which is what she should have done in the first place instead of sending him away.I guess there's nothing wrong with the way either Mia or Chloe is handling Ari's death, it's just their methods seem to be completely incapable.

Ryder playing at being a Vegas croupier wasn't Bella's idea of fun, but at least it had the desired effect on Chloe, who acted as though she was pretty experienced with that sort of thing!

Alf seems to be on the verge of taking a "my way or the highway" attitude again, but at least he's left the choice up to Martha. While Logan said they should prepare for the possibility Martha isn't well enough for a transplant, that doesn't mean it's the only possibility.

I understand Chloe not wanting to always talk about Ari death that does do your head in and makes you quite depressed  but too say she can no longer stand to around Mia seems quite nasty and wrong

I haven’t really enjoyed or liked much of the show since Ari if I’m honest I like over the top stories  but If Ryder leaves to become a high Las Vegas card dealer I think that would be highly beyond silly

Maybe Aunty Colleen could teach him how to hustle blackjack as she lives out there!?

The show's feeling kind of disjointed at the minute. And with Half of a main group reportedly leaving, it'll only continue.  It's like everyone's almost Isolated from one another this week. The community feel is kind of lacking.

Regardless, That's Dimitri; all over a Condescending Prick. He probably resents Leah for being Theo Sr's "Princess", too. Didn't so much as as say so but made that out.

Ryder has more experience at being a cocktail inventer than being a poker card dealer his only had three sessions so far just seems unrealistic or maybe I’m jealous who knows

That clash with Mia and Chloe was bound to happen, it was Bella this time that gave Chloe the push to confront Mia.  Her rant at Mia was wrong but it did have to be said. It has to be in Mia's mind, if Chloe hadn't hit and killed Matthew Ari wouldn't have had to cover up for them and spent that time in prison which they could have had together.  Chloe did realise she had been too hard and apologised.   Mia's BIG plans she and Chloe will go and see Ari's resting place and see his family, it looks like it will be just Mia, she won't be deserting Chloe, she's got Tane, Flick, Nik, Bella and Ryder.

Mayhap Mia didn't think about asking Felicity around, it was an off cuff remark when Flick turned up to pick up Tane.   I am definitely liking the 'newer' Flick, the one we first saw would not have wanted to get involved with family problems.

Not  a bad idea of Ryder wanting to be a croupier alongside his current job of mixologist/bartender.  Do they have such a thing as a croupier school???  Chloe may have come across croupiers before as she has travelled around doing her mixology/bartending.   He hasn't had any experience, just watched the ones at poker night, his job has been to pour the drinks.

An offside comment about the Poker Nights and as we mostly suspect it'll all come out. Cash is going to be called initially, he is the only cop around,  so how will that look when it's found Flick is heavily involved seeing as she is a cop's sister.  We know he's not his sister's keeper but try telling the senior cops who'll be investigating. You know the old cliche they'll come out with "How could he  not know". ?

Maz has another good idea.  It's not going to cure Martha or reverse her kidney problem, but it may slow the symptoms she has, like reducing the high blood pressure and stomach problems so she can maybe have the transplant.   As long as Roo doesn't get OTT with the whole process like she tends to, it can't be a bad thing as long as  Martha is up for it and the docs give it  the OK and it doesn't mess with the meds she is on it can't be a bad idea.

Very clever shot again of not seeing the bait shop part of the pier and the part where people used to sit, briefly saw the long part of the pier.

Was a bit surprised Dimitri floored Justin like that but I'm glad he's been completely outed now.  Surprised Leah went to the cops as I got the impression Justin didn't want to talk to them in case he got on her bad side.  It's funny, Cash seemed more disgusted with Dimitri when he was charging him, than when he was with Mia after he discovered Matthew in the boot of her car.

I do think Rose is being immature, especially given that she was the one who originally pushed for Zander to meet Jasmine but I thought it was quite amusing and I actually really enjoyed the sibling rivalry.  As I've said before, good to see Jasmine's sour faced expressions.  They've reconciled now but I don't think this is the end of it especially given that Rose clearly has a thing for Cash and I do think they have natural chemistry.  And if they're going to be spending time working together, they might end up getting closer.

Thought Mackenzie giving that guy the cash instead of paying for the rent for Salt was beyond reckless.  I appreciate she was trying to do a good thing but there was absolutely nothing to gain from it.  Unfortunately Dean has been spot on regarding this.  At the moment it does very much seem as though the Poker nights are delaying the inevitable.

Didn't really feel Felicity/Tane declaring their love for each other.  Assuming he does successfully talk Mia into leaving, it's a shame due to current circumstances, Chloe can't go with her.

Can Alf just shut up? Honestly, it seems like all year he's been jumping down Roo's throat when she's the one making the most sense, and he hasn't even noticed how disastrous the results are. I do get his point that Martha might go along with Roo's plan just to please her, but it seems like he's the one who's making Martha's decision for her, including turfing Logan out of the house when she was still talking to him.

Chloe moving out into her own place would have been interesting, but Mia's decision to leave town seems to have rendered it moot. Otherwise, not really much of interest in that storyline.
