Dean & Ziggy are meant to be together despite their ups and downs.  He properly need to explain why he relies on the RB's but he has to understand why she gets so worried/scared when he turns to them.  It doesn't happen very often, last time was when Tane & Ari got into bother with the drug dealers who were 'working' on RB turf wasn't it.  That was certainly giving out  mixed messages when Ziggy snogged Dean on the beach then going home to have sex then giving him the cold shoulder. 

Nik was a bity sorry for himself missing Bella seeing as he can only call her at night to allow for the  time difference.  It's OK during the day as he's busy.  Sweet of Flick to go home so Tane could talk to Nik alone. Shame he had to let Alf down in looking after the bait shop. but surely he's not on call all day as a life guard is he?  Mustn't get the sheets and bait mixed up must we.  Alf said he'd be away for a few months!  There are such things as phones/emailing/texting Marilyn.  Not being sexist but looking after the caravan park, laundry etc is more Marilyn's scene than the bait shop with all that entails - the wriggly bits.

I can't understand Cash's problem why he couldn't/wouldn't  let Jasmine see him drunk?  He was a fun drunk not a stroppy one she would likely find it funny. He did seem to be knocking it back a fair bit, started off in the afternoon at the Parata's, then at SALT until Mac had to throw him when it had turned into night.   Obviously them taking a walk to clear their heads didn't work and quite rightly she decided she was too drunk to drive.  Silly query but why was Cash sitting in the drivers seat?  Of course nothing happened but keeping quiet is not a good idea.  Perhaps he was 'claiming' back the cover ups he had done for Flick in the past.  fRose's explanation to Irene as to why Cash hadn't got back to the Beach House  was rather out there and wouldn't Irene have smelt the booze on Cash?  Mac could let something slip when she next sees Jas.

Alf's episode count this week:Two.

Well, it seems Cash doesn't have to worry about keeping things from Jasmine for a while at least! I think Rose was in a bit of a no-win situation here: It was obvious that Cash hadn't told Jasmine anything, so her options were to drop him in it or keep quiet herself. She was a bit abrupt with Felicity but she's feeling the strain.

Dean and Ziggy paper over things again but at least they did it the right way: There's no point Dean trying to pretend he's something he's not, so Ziggy has to accept that.So she does...until next time. Mackenzie is now short a place to stay in addition to everything else.

I'm not quite sure why Irene thought a handyman was the answer to all Marilyn's problems: Surely they need someone to run the bait shop? Or is the idea that Marilyn will be able to focus on that if someone's keeping an eye on other stuff?

For a cop Cash is quite the wimp I’m thinking he and Rose will get together I have thought that ever since Rose turned up and that is wrong But saying that they haven’t done anything yet so it’s quite silly acting guilty about sleeping in a car

It did put Rose really on the spot with Cash refusing to say anything to Jasmine about his completely innocent night with her.  She had to be circumspect  what she thought what Jas had been told.   I suspect he reasoned her news was worrying enough without him dropping that news on her.   Not something you could tell someone on the phone as it needs to be face to face. 

No crime about fancying someone else even if you are in a relationship and I think we all know Rose does fancy Cash, but he's a double no-no, Jasmine isn't just a friend she's her step sister and if Rose was a bad 'un she could have had her wicked way with him, but she didn't so credit where credit is due.   Jasmine being away doesn't really make things easier as he'll have to tell her when she  comes back  and she'll wonder why he didn't say anything before.    

Even Mac's intervention didn't settle things between Dean & Ziggy, but it did get resolved and hopefully Dean won't need to call on the RB's for a long time.  He is a RB, always will be, it's who he is.  I think the only one who 'resigned' was Colby. 

Did then make you nervous when he got that call though it was only from Mac's landlord saying she was behind with the rent.  But I thought Dean & Bella had the lease?  Didn't Colby sign it over to them before he went inside. 

It does need to be someone who knows his fish/bait and how to look after the kayaks so yes why did Irene think a handyman was needed?    Had to laugh when he'd ordered too much and Irene had to be persuaded in storing in the Diners freezers.  Then two guys had the wrong bait and one sunk in a leaky kayak.  Not being sexist (again)  by saying Marilyn would be better suited just running the caravan park, Alf did it for years on his own.   If a electrician or plumber is needed then you call someone in, though even Marilyn can change a lightbulb bulb - I hope.   Couldn't Nik be persuaded to change his mind  and look after the bait shop?

Yes Colby resigned from the river boys and went to the “dark side” aka became a cop! Literally the complete opposite of a river boy! In saying that Colby kept his tattoos and Dean once told him “if you need the boys they will always be their for you” so despite resigning from them I think the old saying “once a river boy always a river boy” applies to everyone!

I'm still not keen on the way Cash is making Rose out to be the one who's done something wrong. When Irene invited Rose and Xander to dinner, it felt like Cash was death-glaring her in a way that screamed "Say no. Say no", yet he then asks what she was playing at. Xander's trying to be understanding but bringing Cash and Rose together, while well-intentioned, seems to have backfired somewhat.

Confirmation that the flat lease was still in Dean's name (no mention of Bella though), which was part of the problem: Someone really should have kept an eye on the rent agreement. Anyway, it's good that Mackenzie's got a place to stay (in Bella's room, probably!), although she was a bit cagey with Irene and Marilyn over what happened. I seem to remember Dean asked the River Boys for help with Colby more than once and they refused because they viewed him as a traitor.

Marilyn gets a handyman although I'm still not quite sure what use they think he's going to be..? I wondered if the word means something different in Australia but his reference to himself as a "chippie" doing cash-in-hand work sounds about right. It's just it seems like what Marilyn really needs is a temporary manager.

That was a very boring episode with Tane and Felcity and Cash making a milestone out of nothing with Rose  I don’t know maybe I’m losing interest

I haven't had chance to catch up this week but drunk Cash trying to hug Tane had me in hysterics!

So now it's Rose's turn to make a drama into a crisis, not helped by the fact that Cash is still being overdramatic. All she needed to do was say "I fancy you but I'm not going to do anything about it so let's forget about it." But no, she has to resort to a denial that isn't fooling anyone, while Cash tries desperately to stop Irene inviting them over.(Mind you, Irene waiting a matter of hours before asking if he's had enough space yet was equally nuts.)Xander really didn't think this one through... I did quite enjoy Felicity's annoyance at being out of the loop.

Marilyn could find herself in front of a tribunal if she doesn't allow Tex proper breaks. She might have struggled with the work but presumably he's less scatter-brained.

I didn't think about Logan not being around to give Tane a medical opinion but seems to have worked out okay. Felicity moving in with him seems a decent idea: She's there all the time anyway! How often does she eat, by the way? She was going to have breakfast with Tane, then quite a bit later she invited Cash to have breakfast with her as well!
