Can’t we just get rid of Cash and Rose now they are beyond ridiculous if don’t even get what they are fighting about really it’s very dumb

So nothing really changes with Salt after all that kind of disappointing I think it needs a new owner different characters in charge I mean

Tane got bite by Buddy while he roamed the bay by night

Good theory pembie, made me chuckle, although the way Buddy's talked about he'd probably drown everyone with licks and slobber! ?

Why doesn’t he ever come in the house or bug anyone or run inside when the door is open Is he actually real or does Justin just imagine him that is the question

The influx of new, unlikeable characters is taking its toll! There is no sense of familiarity. What the show needs is some good returns….people to hook the casual viewers back….or even attract people who haven’t watched in years! That will never happen with so many new faces! But I can’t see TPTB bringing back familiar faces either. Feels like the show is in a bit of a rut right now!

Yeah I can’t say I like many characters

Rose was being increasingly childish here dragging Tex along to the family meal. Well, okay, that's a bit unfair, since Tex actually offered to go with her, but it seemed very much about putting on a show and was enough to have even Xander giving up on her. Irene's got good intentions but doesn't really understand what's going on.

It was vaguely amusing that Roo was confident she could get rid of Tex only to end up going soft!

I don't like Justin and Theo being at odds, so I was glad that Theo got the result he needed and they put it all behind them...but then we get that ending where it seems Justin has put another obstacle in Theo's path.

I'm not sure I entirely agree about "unlikable characters". There's some obviously, but the show's also done a good job in rehabilitating characters who didn't have the best start, and even when a character isn't particularly good individually, there's usually enough good relationships attached to them to keep me interested. I think returns can be a double-edged sword. They can give the show good publicity and attract the interest of lapsed viewers but if it's overdone, it can be at best meaningless and at worst rather insular and alienating to a large chunk of the audience. I don't agree that you can't attract viewers with new faces: If that was the case, no-one would have watched the show in the first place!

I thought that about 'Tane's' injury, he was vague about it, so, as does happen, the actor/actress sustains an injury off screen but can't be written out so scenes have to be rewritten to include it. Awkward as Tane had suffered an screen injury so recently.

Cash does know Felicity's history as she hasn't always ben as stable as she is now.  I'm hoping when she does get advice from a solicitor he/she advises her to keep some money back so she has something to fall back on.  It was  a quick knock back from Mac but good she rethought it.  Felicity and Cash must have had  a good wad from selling the farm gathering good interest from sitting in the bank all this time, odd that is hasn't been mentioned before.

Now we know Rose isn't just fancying Cash, she loves him, but she hasn't acted on it which I suppose is why she is so anti him, it's not his fault.  She shouldn't be using Tex though, she wouldn't like it if it was the other way around. He is a charmer though winning Roo round like that, does make sense to help out Roo while Alf is still away, though he is vague about his history, naturally as a cop Cash asked the probing questions at that dinner.

Now Roo is back she can step back into the interfering role letting Leah off the case.  I have noticed John steps into the wise old man role when Alf is away.

Just as it looked like Justin and Theo are back on side, there was that curve ball TAFE served him, could  they do that?   Did he have to apply to be in charge of Theo's apprenticeship or did they put him in charge? Wasn't Ziggy mentoring him or was that unofficial?  It looks like Theo and Chloe are no longer joined at the hip.

Theo was unlikable at first, though I know you were still not  sure about him Red, but he has changed and buckled down to his apprenticeship and wanting to learn about the motor business.  Plenty of 'unlikeable' characters have come into the bay but there has usually been a reason why they are like that, not unredeemable, but then we have some nice guys/gals who turn out not to be so.  We can't always have good people who just  wander about not doing anything, bad guys/girls liven it up  as you wonder what they will get up to.   Besides there have always been  bad 'uns in the Bay. Be tricky sometimes to bring back some 'oldies' Angelo wasn't the good guy he was before so found it awkward to fit in due, I think, his determination to get Colby.  Others  would need a good storyline to be able just to slot back in without having to explain to everyone who they are.

Despite her worry that some things are best left unsaid, it's good that Rose has Xander to confide in. And she's kind of clarified her position with Tex: To a point, he's a distraction, but she does enjoy his company too and he seems to know where he stands. I'm struggling to remember Xander ever talking to Ziggy before but it was a nice scene of the two of them and Dean reflecting on how much trouble sisters are.

It would have been nice for Ziggy to see Coco (and even nicer for us to see her but I guess that one's gone) but Justin needs her for a greater purpose. It's a shame that Theo's being punished for Justin's actions after all: Leah finally twigs that it might have been best to deal with this one in-house rather than immediately escalating it to the official level, but we're kind of past worrying about that now.

Roo seems to have been well and truly converted into Team Tex! And Chloe is back to being run off her feet with two jobs...

Ziggy and Dean were suitability  looking very bemused when they accidentally overheard Xander & Rose's fight they were there first.  I think Rose did need to get that off her chest.  Guess we forget if people have met before, they could have off screen, but we only know about it when we see them on screen, may have only passed each other in the Diner or SALT and not know who the other is.

That's what's it's called then an accreditation - there's a BIG word!  He did say it had been suspended - so could  get it back. I  liked he didn't put a dampener on Theo's celebration by not telling him until later.   Leah did guess something was up but wisely this time she kept stchum.  Plus she admitted she could/should  have played it differently - no kidding Leah. ?

A lot of things Theo can't do, which we would take for granted, to go further, does that included Justin being barred from checking on things he's already done and passed, like spark plugs, oil changes?

Pretty a much forgone conclusion just as Ziggy & Dean make their plans Justin drops his bombshell on her.  It will be a learning curve - no pun intended - for Ziggy to step up to the plate and be a 'proper' teacher and sign off on what Theo had done, would she have to be accredited   by TAFE?

Those on the Aus part of the forum and some on here don't like Chloe but she is being a good support to Theo and boy she does work hard, she's certainly no slouch,  and as I said  she and Theo aren't joined at the hips and lips as much.  Roo may not have been gone long but a lot has changed already, not only is Chloe working in the Diner she's working in the gym.

Seems Flick has some visitors - rather LOUD ones, that's going to go down well with John and the other 'invisible' neighbours.
