I’m not sure why Ziggy would think Mac would meet someone on her short trip to the city 

These bikers seem to be making up for the lamest of what the river boys have become these days but saying that they still displayed none threatening behaviour offering to share chips with Tane shame he has a broken arm because we could have had some action scenes otherwise maybe 

it was amusing how alien it seemed to Nik to Tanes advice of maybe locking their door  like why would we even give that any hint of thought how bizarre 

Nomi keeps asking where Bella is I wonder where her sister is considering Nik saved her life

Xanders quite a interesting character I think over the top of Rose kicking the door in leave the guy to his space 

I do wonder how Tex won’t blow his cover Tane is one of the main people around town

Well, I'm glad Tane told Nikau what's going on. Not because I think Nikau's going to be any use, but because I think he needs somebody to bounce off. A rather abrupt change of plan from Tex and co: Were they just giving Tane a scare by demanding the money back, so he'd be relieved that they "just" wanted him to launder it and go along with it?

To be honest, Xander's storyline has a bit of a "He hasn't got Jasmine around to interact with so we'll find something else to do with him" feel to it.I was at least glad to see Cash and Rose have regained their more relaxed relationship.I can understand why Rose broke the door down, she was obviously worried about him.All he needed to do was call out and say he was fine, but he seemed to be in a world of his own.

It doesn’t look vastly different to Summer Bay, but I can understand with her mental health issues Summer Bay might be a trigger for her, I don’t think Alf would be truly happy anywhere else though as he loves that town.

They seem to forget that Martha didn't even live in Merimbula itself when she first returned to the bay, her house was a "few hours" out in a tiny (fictional) place called Wallumatta.

Someone wake me up when Rose and Xander leave the bay! I’m really struggling to enjoy the show at the moment, far too many unlikeable characters or characters I just don’t care about.

Yes, I'm not sure if this is a cultural thing, but the fact that people locking their doors is considered an extreme reaction rather than something any normal person would do always bemuses me.(That said, I frequently do have mine unlocked when I'm at home.)Nikau didn't really help matters here, first by acting like Chloe was imminent danger, and then by giving her the vaguest warning possible.He might as well tell her the truth: This time last week she knew more than him anyway.

I agree with pembie that Xander's method will probably have him run out of skin sooner rather than later! Still, I am quite liking the chats between Cash and Rose about it and the fact it tied in with John's own attempt to protect his staff.

So...is that goodbye Martha, then? Rather low-key if it is.I'm tempted to say they should have just killed her off, but maybe that would have been too cruel.They've written themselves into a corner though...or maybe not? It seems like Alf's been flipping back and forth between Summer Bay and Merimbula for about two years, so no reason why he can't continue provided Ray Meagher's willing.

Re the bikers who are now chasing Tane for the money.  If it was an armed robbery wouldn't it have just the police who caught Ari  who got way long enough to stash the cash.  I suppose it could have been a tip off?   We know Ari liked his bikes, did he innocently get involved with the gang, then they found out about Mikaere and what he and Ari used to get up and asked him to do a 'little' job for them.   It was ten years ago, let's not forget,  Chloe was was only a little 'un and she has said Ari had been missing from her life that amount of time.   Why didn't they get someone to 'talk' to Ari while he was inside instead of waiting all this time, obviously not hard up.   Missed hearing head biker was called Marty.    Good word that - slothful.

Tex is putting himself out there isn't he, making it known to Tane he is one of the gang, or is he just working for them?  It'll be odd should he and Tane run into each other as there will definitely be an atmosphere.  

Locking doors in the bay - yeah like that hasn't been mentioned before.   People do it for a while then forget about it,  we've seen Felicity walk off and leave her van door unlocked before now.  If indoors you may just put it on the latch so not just anyone can walk in, people you know would knock and you call out 'come in, it's open'.  

Nik  was last to know,  Chloe guessed when she jokingly said the other week about Ari & Mia got the money by robbing a bank, she is a smart cookie.  Ok we get Chloe has to be careful about being alone as we don't know what they could be capable of, but Nik is coming across as OTT, he's already spooking her, how long before he tells her what has been going on despite Tane's warning not to and there'll be a knock on effect does she tell Theo?  Tane's not likely to be worried about himself but others.  

Have I missed an about turn with Rose and Cash, only they are coming across as just ordinary cops who are teamed as partners even friends now when a couple of weeks ago, not as long as that even, Rose was trying to get out of shifts with him because she felt guilty about 'loving' him. 

Xander had quite a spectacular meltdown didn't he?  There has to be history there, maybe something Rose doesn't know anything about it, she certainly didn't know about the tats.  She did say he'd had a disastrous  break up.   May have been a tad OTT her knocking the door down, but she was worried about him and I like seeing Rose's caring side.   Will they have to pay the landlord for the damage?  We know about first responders in any job, fire/police/paramedics but life guards and the like we do forget. 

Had me worried that it was really bad news about Martha, like she was dying despite the transplant, but no it's the fact she's decided to stay in Merimbula.   Of  course it'll  be hard for Alf, he's lived in the bay all his life and he's not getting any younger to be making that trip up and down. 

Not all happy goings with Lyrik going by the preview.  Mac has offered to pay Lyrik  this time. 

Btw haven't Ian & Wendy got another son and a daughter they could call on to help them?

I don’t have much opinion on the band really but I kind of agree with Bob if they want to get spotted surely they should tour around places sure come back to the bay sometimes maybe
