Chloe told Theo what little she knows, but when Felicity finally spared a few seconds to speak to her, she convinced her it's all in Nikau's head. This is what happens when you give half a story...

It was interesting seeing the different shades from Alf: I think quite often you need to know how to approach him. He was abrupt with Roo when she went in hard, then switched to comically irascible when Justin tried a softer approach before finally opening up.The idea of Alf continuing to commute back and forth was raised but rejected by him. After spending all day hassling him, Roo does kind of owe him a conversation.

It's interesting to see Felicity actually doing quite a good job as a management figure.Bob's insistence that they're better than this isn't helping but Remi's laidback stoner "wake me when it's all over" attitude isn't really helping things: It was telling that even Felicity got fed up of him being childish at the worst times.Felicity's now got an assurance from Eden and Remi that they might not be able to back up... (Oh, and she really needed to clear it with the rest of the house before declaring Lyrik can use it as a base camp!)

Felicity doesn't actually know anything yet.

I thought Lyrik already did tours?  I don't see how going back to SALT now and then could hurt them any, it'd be a regular gig, they know they'd get paid which as Flick said could pay for them to use a recording studio.  Bob and Remi are total opposites but Bob deciding to dump him and Eden as he feels they are dragging him and Kirby down  is a bit drastic isn't it?  Is it going to be just him and Kirby as a duo? He still thinks the bay is a hick  town too!   OK there wasn't anyone around when Felicity invited them back, Tane wasn't answering his phone, but Chloe certainly wasn't happy having to step over all their kit, she'll be wanting to stay at Theo's, though Tane won't be allowing that.    Tane will NOT be a happy bunny.

I did spot Eden put her shoes back on when she left.  Apparently it is a Maori tradition visitors leave their shoes outside, like  we saw Naomi did.   I don't know if it's been mentioned before though.

Theo seemed very awe struck when he met them, handling Remi's guitar as if it was a holy object. Is there a future plotline coming up?

Justin, unlike Roo who is her father's daughter after all, held back and let Alf decide when he was ready to talk.  It will be a HUGE decision for him, apart from when he served in Korea he's only known the bay.  He told Justin if he wants to keep Martha happy he'll have to abide with her wishes, but  would living in Merimbula all the time make him happy.  What would he do there? It'll be hard for Roo too, not having either parent nearby.

I’m quite of glad that Mac called off her date with Todd it bores me nowadays when everyone is paired off quickly

Still don’t care about much else

Alf's episode count this week:Three, and he was credited on Tuesday for no appearance.Felicity was in four:Curiously, she wasn't credited on Wednesday (and neither was Leah) even though Remi, Eden, Kirby and Bob, whose only scene was with her, all were credited.

I was kind of expecting Alf to have made a decision by the time he left but it's all up in the air, with him seemingly leaving it until he sees Martha face to face.At least he was less snappy with the Diner ladies.

Ziggy was right that Dean should have passed the message on to Mackenzie and let her make the choice. But her shipping Mackenzie with some bloke she vaguely knew was a bit over the top, so it's probably for the best that Mackenzie's decided to concentrate on herself for now instead of jumping straight back into dating.

Goodbye, Bob, then. While he was objectionable (and his pointlessly insulting Felicity was probably the point when he was past the point of no return), it again felt like it wasn't quite as simple as one side being right and the other side being wrong, with Remi determined to be as antagonistic as possible until there was no way back. So...Lyrik short of a singer. May the fun begin.

Ziggy should have passed the message on and let Mac decide, but Dean was being all big brother.  She did ring Todd but then had a rethink .

It is a HUGE decision for Alf to make and he does need a face to face talk with Martha.  He can help around the farm/homestead but Kieran seems to be have that in hand which he never though he'd say.  They must have  some sort of committees Alf could get involved in but he'd have to start all over  and he'll be a like newbie.

Where was Bob coming from calling Flick a jumped up bar maid!?  Wasn't it mentioned early on she'd helped them get  a lot of their early gigs by pulling some strings, he seems to be suffering from selective amnesia.  Oh and she's letting them stay in 'her' house. I've said before Bob and Remi are polar opposites, is it just a man thing only Eden and Kirby get along OK.  Bob and Kirby are cowriters aren't they so how is that going to work now he's gone, did they split it, she's the words and he's the lyrics or vice versa? I spotted they did take their shoes off when going into the Parata house. OK Lyrik are skint so how are they paying for drinks at SALT, unless that' jumped up barmaid' is subbing them?

We were given some clues as to what could be happening. ?

Oh sorry Red you're mistaken- Bob was always right and everyone else was always  wrong - according to him anyway.?

Hi just caught up with the episode 7790. Does anybody know what Pk said to Ziggy in the surf club when she replied totally.

Having skimmed over the episode, the closest I could find was:
PK: Hey, Ziggy, can you go take care of Doug? He might need a shoulder to cry on.
ZIGGY: Sure.

So, yeah, Lyrik's auditions produced some...interesting characters. The Death Metal(?) guy had me in stitches, as everyone's jaws dropped to the floor. John, Justin and Dean playing Statler and Waldorf was rather amusing and Dean's obviously learned how to get rid of John.(Tell him there's something free outside!)I continue to like Felicity and Mackenzie's genuine friendship and business partnership, and it was nice that Mackenzie does actually seem to have relaxed, even though she got more concerned as things fell apart more and more. Kirby's "The answer is literally staring us in the face: We hold auditions!" felt like someone strung a few words together into a sentence without checking if it made sense. How is that staring them in the face, especially literally? If she'd been suggesting they hire Felicity, who was actually staring them in the face, that would have made sense...

But yep, in the end Theo looks like the frontrunner.Hopefully Justin's right that he can do that and keep on top of his study, because a part of me can see Ziggy's point, especially given she's given stuff up to mentor him.

Theo was just meh compared to Keith death metal guy I would have hired him Problem was they didn’t give any information what type of singer they wanted so it turned into the X factor kind of thing

As much as I found that very eye rolling obvious that Theo would get the gig Ziggy was acting like he already got the audition In real life that kind of thing happens in a blue moon so Theo would still be studying more than likely but he should still have the chance to audition without Ziggy nagging or throwing the flyer away

So Ziggy like normal was very over the top

But does that mean Theo will be writing all the songs now that’s presure

Not a lot to say after that episode really not really interested in the band and Theo to be honest Considering they make decisions upon the skills at playing pool though they were incredibly bad at the game haha

I guess Chloe is off to stay with Mia after all I hope Tex gets caught in the end and doesn’t get a redemption story

Five are heavily promoting the show at the moment which is great to see. Blind Freddie can see they are trying to attract the former Neighbours viewers and/or trying to get the causal viewer back to the bay.

The problem is a lot of the promos revolve around Tane/Felecity/Tex and the bikies/Rose etc. This isn’t going to attract viewers when even we struggle sometimes with them! The show is lacking in familiarity right now.

We need a big story involving returns. That’s what will hook viewers back in. Big drama for characters we have loved for years! Why not have a funeral for Morag? It’s outrageous she was just never again mentioned! We could have loads of returns and Morag is a character people adored and would definitely attract casual viewers back in.
