Kudos to the set designers for updating the Braxton’s (et al) old place but keeping it vaguely recognisable. Placing the sofa in what is probably the best known position to begin with was a nice touch and helped with making it seem more familiar.

Alf's episode count this week:Three.Cash was in three but didn't have any dialogue on Tuesday or Wednesday, spending most of them comatose.

I think they're actually doing a decent job of showing the band integrating into the bay rather than just having scenes with each other. We have Eden working at Salt and interacting with Mackenzie now, and they're getting some nice stuff with John.He and Remi seemed equally uncomfortable about Eden dumping them on each other, with John's tall stories about the Braxtons.I doubt there's any guns still there (Brax did have one at one point but he lost that long ago), but I do seem to remember a drive-by shooting at one point.(Mind you, I don't think the wall it would have been imbedded in is there anymore!)And we have Remi involving Ziggy in his van search.Ironically, I found those scenes the most alive Ziggy has been in ages, since we got to see her feisty and light-hearted side.

Justin hiding the games console controllers at the Diner so Theo doesn't get distracted was mildly amusing.Alf catches Marilyn's number compulsion, which seems to be confusing Roo more than encouraging her.

Thanks for the info on the broadcast of "Monday"'s episode, James, and Dan in the other thread! I haven't been on here much today so I didn't get the news in time to record today's First Look but I've set the Freeview recorder for the showing tomorrow morning. So long as I remember to plug it in tomorrow...

Obviously, the ex-Barton/hippie place was let furnished, did like John's remembrance of Braxton's and their time there and there was a shot being fired into the wall, I remember it, long repaired I would say.  Remi did let John keep the muffins.?

Mac and Eden do seem to have a connection even they do have such wildly different backgrounds, Eden coming from a family of undertakers/funeral directors.

I didn't take the chance up of recording 5Star's second ep which would be 5's Monday one, silly me, I did record it on Channel5+1 but of course that didn't show.   I'll have to catch up by watching on catch up on Tuesday.  What are TPTB going to do for those of us that don't have any recording or catch-up facilities?

Anyways, I don't think Remi is really after Ziggy, he's just a natural flirty Bertie.  He did promise to stop annoying Dean if she got him the van. It is the logical thing for him to ask her, though of course he could ask Justin.  What did he hope to get for $3000?  It'd have to be big enough for them all to fit in comfortably and be able to carry all their instruments and gear.  NOT a good idea her keeping it from Dean though, of course he'd think something was going on, be the same if it was the other way round.

Couple of mentions of Cash and how he was doing which is how it would be in a small town.

Good to hear Theo did do his assignment and according to Ziggy did well, let's hope he can keep it up.

Maz did do what she did with the best of intentions, but one was enough and now Alf has rumbled her, so she's got to confess now.

Did you plug in yesterday Red? ?

I did, yes! I suppose technically I could have watched live, but I normally do my weekly shop Saturday morning, so I did that and watched the episode afterwards. Because of which: This post discusses the episode that was scheduled for Channel 5 today, don't read if you haven't seen it.

I'm not quite sure why Ziggy thought that her expedition with Remi wouldn't take as long as it did, given she knew how far away it was. Did her examination of the engine take longer than expected? Anyway, not the most successful trip ever, since they're left with no van, no car and seemingly no way of getting out of the garage.Dean's kind of got half the story and is worrying about the wrong thing.

Marilyn came clean about her number pilfering fairly quickly. And she made up for it by giving Roo some actual helpful suggestions, even if Dean wasn't the most receptive to being approached!

I can kind of see Kirby's point at being put out at Eden and Remi deciding to buy the van without her. (The real reason, of course, is that Kirby had used up her episodes last week!)
