Monday's episode has now dropped on My5 - I've tried to watch it but the picutre quality is so bad I've given up.  I'm not sure if it's my PC or the VPN I'm using (I'm in Spain currently but I'm not having any issues with iPlayer) but I've got VHS recordings from the 80's that look better!  I'll read a synposis here and pick up tomorrow.

I find it hard to really care about anything to do with Ziggy but it’s bit odd to get locked in a shed when buying a van

? Red. I caught up by watching My5 today.

Well that bloke was definitely dodgy going by that conversation he was having before Ziggy and Remi returned, then him locking Remi and Ziggy in the garage, we may see them smashing the slats tonight. Alarm bells should have started ringing when he said he'd send the paperwork through by email. Not as if Ziggy's car would go unnoticed, is it?

We did get a bit of info of Remi's past, his parents were/are musicians, mum played the violin and his dad the oboe, now we know more about all of them. I'm supposing she didn't think it would take as long as it took, not expecting the van to break down, but on hindsight she could have given Justin the heads up so he didn't sound so clueless when Dean asked him about this meeting with a 'client'.   Mac come clean in the end telling him where she really was and it wasn't what he thought it was.  It wasn't her job to tell Dean what Ziggy was doing, she and Dean are adults and it's between them.

I do wish when people get the voice mail message they JUST do that!?  I'm guessing for some reason Ziggy can't ring Dean and tell him where they are - naff signal reception??

Will she get back in time to send Theo's assignment in as it would like he'd not bothered and after last time it wouldn't look good at TAFE.

That house is very up to date having an air fryer, a new thing here as apparently it cuts down on cooking time saving you money what with the hikes in energy prices.  Rather sweet Kirby and Eden getting excited about having their own fridge, well if you want to be picky it's not theirs, but you know what I mean.   All they have to do now is actually buy stuff for the fridge.

Maz nearly chickened out but took a deep breath and confessed, I didn't think she took that many, understandably Roo was upset but Maz did have some good ideas later, could have saved Roo the cost of having those flyers printed.?

Ziggy left her phone in her car. Her car which was taken by the dodgy guy.

Well, they say women go for men that remind them of their fathers. Dean coward punching Remi was oddly reminiscent of Ben punching Brody when Ziggy got into trouble while she was with him. Of course, while Ben was rightly charged with assault, Dean gets nothing more than a couple of glares, with Mackenzie once more having to dole out free food for him.(I bet he didn't pay for the meal he scrounged in the previous episode either.Despite Mackenzie's financial troubles, he's still treating Salt as his personal larder.)

Elsewhere, seems Roo finally got a bite on her adverts. And after a typically over the top recap showing us practically the whole raid, Rose has decided to confide in Xander.Well, he's doing a good job keeping a lid on things for the moment, but they're kind of between a rock and a hard place with Nikau and Tane being treated like public enemies.

At least have Carl come back to confront Dean when he just turns up to resuce Ziggy and Remi from the shed why did he lock them in there I’m not sure

This van story has had me biting my nails with tension it really has

My IQ points dropped watching Shedgate.

You think one of them would have played lookout but noooo.... All to cook up some cheap drama.

Reminiscent of Bea/Susan/Elly v Finn on Neighbours a few years ago.

Am I too hard on Nik? I think maybe there's just something about him that irritates me. I feel like I should sympathise with him more because he is being punished for something he hasn't done, but he's just so full of whiney and self-pity, and spends so much time blaming everyone but himself, that it's hard. He becomes the second person to snipe at Rose for something that wasn't her fault, and while he has a point that Tane could have avoided this by letting him know the score, I think Felicity's probably right that Nikau would have blundered in trying to play the hero whatever Tane told him.

Of course, we now have another big logic flaw in the middle of a storyline full of big logic flaws. After "How did Ari end up in jail for stealing money from criminals?" and "Why did they wait until Ari was dead before coming after the Paratas?", the next big question is "What exactly have Nikau and Tane been charged with?" The way everyone's talking, it's as though their big crime is simply being at the bikies' hideout. Has Tane been charged over the money laundering and possibly Nikau as an accessory?

John does seem to still have Nik's corner. I continue to like the friendship between Felicity and Eden. With no-one else around for her to mother, Irene seems to have pretty much adopted Felicity, which is ironic given how much Felicity annoyed her when she and Jasmine were first friends. And Rose of course, nice of her to check in there. Oh, and Roo's finally found some success with tutoring students!

Remi 'told' us why they couldn't get out of the window as it had bars on it.

Didn't Remi have a phone then?

Do listen - Carl told them that was where the money was and of course he needed to make a quick getaway didn't he.?

It was fluky Mac and Dean hitting on the right guy after Mac clicked that Lyrik had to buy a cheap van, did Dean just decide to visit the place or did he ring Carl and naturally he didn't get an answer?  I like Remi and I would imagine it hasn't been the first time he's been thumped by a guy cos of his flirty behaviour.  It may have been old fashioned but I liked how he gave her his jacket to keep warm overnight. At least he got a good meal out of it - do we think anything could happen there??   I thought Mac put a ban on free nosh/booze for relatives/friends.   I know Dean got his pants in a panic but he and Ziggy did say there were to be no more secrets between them however small.

I think yesterday's TV mag could have got its synopsis of last night's episode wrong - it described something that didn't happen.    I like how Xander has been there for Rose a reversal of how she has been there for him, he can understand how something traumatic like that can affect you.  Yes, she's a cop, but they're humans and the time to be worried is when it doesn't.  Doesn't matter how the paper got hold of it, they always do, she is between a rock and a hard place knowing what she knows but unable for Tane and Nik's safety to say anything.   Even if most of the gang are locked up there will be others keeping an eye on them.  Tane was damned if he did or didn't tell Nik what was happening, I think he wanted Nik to be believed if anyone asked him where he, Tane, was or what he was doing.  John was so good going into bat for Nik, he does really believe in him - did Alf put his weight against his being kept on?  Nik was very torn about nearly revealing what really had happened, but of course couldn't as he and Tane's lives depended on it.

This money Ari nicked - was that laundered money - which is why it wasn't at the time linked to the bikies because at the time as far as the investigators were concerned it was 'clean'. ?   Did the news somehow reach Marty and co that Ari and Mia had bought a gym and wondered how they could have afforded it?  It had been quite a long time - 10 years wasn't it? Ari did his own money laundering after all didn't he.

Despite Nik and Tane having a clean record before this they can't have been charged with anything too serious.  The next question is will any of the gang - namely Tex - ask to do a deal as he has very important info for them.

I think it's a human default that we ask "Are you OK?" when we know someone isn't. It was nice Eden was there for Flick and she had someone else to talk to.  Then she got the news Cash had been brought out of his induced coma.
