Whilst I actually quite liked their interaction, something was off with the new girl shortly after she was being tortured by Roo.  Kind of felt like she wanted to be a lawyer out of revenge as opposed to fighting for what's right - That's assuming she was even telling the truth about the husband and wife keeping her baby.  She reminded me a bit of Nicole appearance wise although unlike her she's already giving off bunny boiler vibes.  Can't wait to see what the deal is with Marilyn.

Whilst I wouldn't mind seeing the back of Nikau, I wouldn't want to inflict him on Bella again!

Alf's episode count this week:Two.

Further to my thoughts yesterday, I'm left thinking that Ziggy and Dean's storyline would have worked a lot better without the casual assault. Although Eden got a well-deserved jibe in, Ziggy didn't mention it at all and so the obvious explanation for her not wanting Dean to see her with Remi, that last time they were together Dean hit him for no real reason, gets ignored in favour of some "you're acting like you've got something to hide" stuff. Oh well, one bit of psychoanalysis courtesy of Mackenzie later we've apparently got a solution.

Heather seemed nice for the most part, but then we get her odd reaction to hearing Marilyn's name, and in case we weren't paying attention, it gets hammered home by her taking a photo of her and giving her a sinister look.Unless Heather's a lot older than she looks, any child she had must have been born while Marilyn was living in Summer Bay, although thinking about it, she has had a few lengthy absences over the years... Definitely one to watch!

So is Roo just going to have all her tutoring sessions at the Diner then? The last one was meant to be a last resort because she couldn't get a study room, and she even admitted it's not ideal, but she went ahead and used it anyway! And wow, Morag mention! I mean, it gave us no clue on where she is (Alf almost but not quite referred to her in the past tense), but at least they're acknowledging she exists!

Remi, himself said, in case anyone missed it, it wouldn't have been the first time and wouldn't be the last he'd been thumped.   He is a flirtie Bertie but Eden said he wouldn't make a real move on another guy's woman.

Mac did work it out after probing, Ziggy was feeling 'neglected' by Dean and Remi made her feel special.  I guess that happens in a long-term relationship like Dean & Ziggy's, they do love each other but neither of them are real lovey-dovey types but they don't do anything romantic for each other, doesn't have to be anything big just a gesture.  Which Dean did do with his whisking him and Ziggy off for a surfing break.  Not wanting to put a dampener on it what about their jobs?  Dean would have customers and what about Zig letting Justin know what she is doing??

Marilyn is 52 according to her back to the bay profile so could be likely to have had Heather - as it seems we are all going down the Heather is Marilyn's child route - when she took one of her trips out of the bay?  She did leave back in 92 for three years, hard to tell what age Heather could be, Heather did see Marilyn when she first came into the Diner but only got interested in her when she heard her name and then seemed to take a proper look at her, the taking of a photo was very odd, Marilyn's fortune teller's vibes seem to be in action next week.   It is a very elaborate story Heather told Roo but Marilyn was also a nanny wasn't she?  Could it be it was Marilyn she was talking about?

That was a bloody long interview/talk between her and Roo, it was the afternoon she showed up and it was dark when Heather left.

Alf could have been referring to Morag in the past tense.

Theo in his Calvin Klein's.  They're not exactly cheap underwear.  Justin catching him with Kirby reminds me of just how funny he is with his remarks, mannerisms and facial expressions.  Kind of like how amusing he was when he was trying to help Theo out at TAFE and thought Theo got a decent mark on the assignment he did and was celebrating.

I do think Mackenzie and Felicity work well as friends namely because unlike with her and Amber they didn't just lump them together.  Initially they didn't like each other, then Felicity started working for her and they were put into situations where they helped each other out.  I actually prefer the friendship to the one Felicity has with Eden.

Well Heather's not exactly what I would call shy.  Most girls would not go up to a guy like that who they've never met, flirt with them and ask them out.  And most girls would probably be put off by someone going to court.  I have to admit, I did find it slightly amusing when she kept eyeballing Marilyn with Alf and Roo completely oblivious but objectively I did feel a bit sorry for her and don't think it was pleasant for Marilyn especially being at work and having to be professional.  Really she should just approach Heather at some point and straight out ask her what her problem is.  The thing with Heather is, it's not just the fact that she stares, it's the look in her eyes.  You could see it when she was talking to Nikau.  So intense.

I think Theo and Kirby are my least favourite members of   the band I’m not sure why either If fhey don’t write some better songs soon though their set is going to become very boring

I’m not sure I’m meant to like Heather but so far I do bad girl type I guessing Nikau is quick to go on the rebound but what the hell enjoy it haha

Well, Heather demonstrates, like Ebony before her, that even shady guest characters get obligatory bikini scenes. And she certainly wasn't backward coming forwards where Nikau was concerned.A part of me feels resentful that Bella never got to date anyone apart from him, but I'd rather he moved on than carried on pining.

Theo and Kirby keeping their relationship on the downlow didn't last for long. It's not really fair of them to ask Justin to keep it secret from Leah:I'm sure she'd manage to keep it secret if asked.Their gig seemed less of an event this time, almost like background music.I did like the girls' talk scenes between Felicity and Mackenzie.Wonder who they'll hire?

I was wondering if maybe the Stewart house had burnt down as Roo wasn't using it for her tutorials which would make a lot more sense as it's quieter than the Diner, but no it's still intact. I think the last time we saw inside it was when Ryder had his farewell do.  Ditto with the Beach House we haven't seen that for yonks. Does Roo pay for the table(s) she uses, it/they could be used by paying customers so The Diner would be potentially losing money?

Heather certainly isn't a shrinking violet is she?  Nik is a good-looking guy so can see why she was attracted but she caught the end of his conversation about his upcoming court case which would have put most girls/women off.   Nik is vulnerable at the moment and is in rebound mode so maybe a light fling may not be a bad idea.  Now I'm no tightwad but I would have finished the drink I'd paid for first before leaving.

Heather does seem to keep giving Marilyn some odd looks and is making her feel very ill at ease. Having Heather move into the caravan park will not make her feel any easier.  We've 'wondered' if Heather could be who we think she is.  Going back on Marilyn's history she did have a problem with fibroids back in the day so had trouble conceiving with Donald but that could have been after but I'm no medical expert.?

Also though it's not an unusual name but Marilyn's mum is called Heather. That is one to chew on.

That will be a sight Justin won't be able to unsee for a while.?  A different sort of studying to what Justin had thought Theo was doing. ? Justin is in between a rock and a hard place when Theo asked him not to tell Leah, it is Theo's secret and we all know what Leah can be like, nagging Theo about how serious Kirby is about him, what will happen if they have a fall out, what would the others say, ad nauseum.  But of course, she'll go off on one again when if - no - when she finds out.  Btw you don't get a lot for your money do you - they were very short undies!

I liked Felicity and Mac's in-depth talk,  Mac had been in deep straits before, and she was on her own then, so only right she bails Flick out while she looks after Cash.  I'm imagining the gig Lyrik played was more suited to a lunch crowd rather than their evening/night gigs.   Justin, after he saw what he saw, was able to pick up on the looks between Theo and Kirby so had a gentle word with Theo to warn him.   Did giggle when Eden was having a go at having to lumber out their gear while Remi just sat there.  Though wouldn't he have come across as sexist at having to help a poor weak female carry it out - felt he couldn't have won in that situation.  Neither of them were really that bright by falling for Kirby's 'going to look at some gear' and not coming back with anything as she got lost and by the time she got there it had gone. ?

Irene goes from not wanting to even sell Heather a tea, coffee or water to offering her a place to stay for the night.

The fact that everyone is so quick to dismiss Marilyn, despite her trying to warn multiple people and them giving Heather the benefit of the doubt coupled with the Tarot stuff leads me to believe Marilyn is probably right about her.  I am intrigued by Heather and am hoping she is more disturbed rather than actually bad.

Tane's definitely committed to Felicity given he's prepared to house Cash now too.  I'm glad Irene didn't take it to personally Cash moving out and it was good to have a scene with them.  Now that there's no Bella or Jasmine or Cash, Irene's got a free house now so Heather can actually move in although I'm not sure she would want to right now given how being at the Caravan Park gives her more opportunities to intimidate Marilyn.

I'm hoping the fact we saw Bree in scenes outside the hospital means she's going to be around for a little while at least.

Heather's a bit of a curious one.She obviously intended for Nikau to be the place she stayed for the night, yet seemed to abandon that quite easily. It seemed like she might have been trying to ingratiate herself with Irene and Eden, but given that she is presumably willing to take a job at Salt (I wondered who'd get it!), it seems she's telling the truth about being short of money. And she does seem to be reasonably genuine about Nikau.Of course, she also can't look at Marilyn without sneering so... Roo did say that she wasn't comfortable with people coming to her house but Heather seems to be there anyway! It seems we're back to the caravan park being right near the house rather than that odd period around the time of the explosion where it seemed to be the other side of a field.

Cash was back to being annoying.I didn't mind him and Jasmine together but they were never more than a meh couple so I'm finding it hard empathising with Cash acting as though them breaking up is some great tragedy.Him having the engagement ring in his bag from the trip was a bit weird:He wasn't really going to go out there and propose to her, was he? It was nice to see that Bree owns clothes other than hospital scrubs: As someone mentioned, she's listed as main cast, so presumably there's going to be more to her than "the doctor".
