Criticism of Marilyn/calling out poor behaviour = hatred

One thing I forgot to mention yesterday was I quite liked the way the camera showed the sunset by the Summer Bay house just before Heather was talking to Roo.

Given their conversation last week, I would have preferred a little more than a phone call with Marilyn presumably telling Leah that she's OK after being arrested.  Perhaps next week we'll get Leah's reaction to Marilyn and Heather agreeing to get to know each other - clandestine of course because Marilyn is ashamed of her.

Are there any UK viewers who actually enjoy the scenes with Dean and Ziggy, because I don't?

I can take or leave them. Rather them over Cash or Lyrik scenes but today they were zzzz.

I have to ask AGAIN why this sudden hatred of Marilyn?

What makes you think it's sudden?

Well, no surprise Leah got involved in Justin's new career as a band manager, and after her reaction to his previous foray, she decides to be supportive just when he wants her to put her foot down. She made some decent points about him learning as he goes along but he does need to have at least a vague grasp of what the job entails.

It's nice to see John continuing to be supportive of Nikau, a fact he seemed keen to share with Tane more than once! Nikau and Tane did kind of flip over throughout the episode, with Nikau going from worrying about what people would think to realising they're still his friends, while Tane goes from thinking it's all over to wondering how people see him.If they've got good behaviour bonds, isn't that technically a criminal record?

I must admit I actually did kind of enjoy Dean and Ziggy's scenes.I mean, nothing really happened in plot terms, but there was a humour about it that's often lacking between them, and throwing an incredibly excited Auntie Mackenzie into the mix gave them someone else to play off.

Marilyn's used up her three episodes so everyone's talking about her rather than to her. It might have been best to just rest the storyline for a couple of episodes or whatever.

They really bore me now I don’t really see any chemistry with them which is strange because they are together in real life

Bob did all the management for the band previously.

Oh yes, they do need a proper manager though, they had to 'obey' what Bob decided.

You never seem to have ranted on about her before like you have recently.

Justin wasn't able to keep it that much of a secret.?  Although Leah gave good advice about he learnt how to be a mechanic and took it slowly, but he was working with engines and could take his time, but these are people we are talking about and their livelihoods.  I would have liked to have heard her talk with this guy Justin was trouble with.  I reckon she gave him short shrift and he caved in and agreed with the original deal or may have got a better one.    Neat idea him asking Felicity for her input, she does have a better idea, bringing up those little hidden hitches the people the band are going to work for bring up after you thought you'd struck a deal. Opened a can of worms there though as it looks like there is a snag with SALT.  OK their original gig was a favour to Flick but there isn't a written contract between Lyrik and SALT and the other gigs they've done.

Ziggy is a clued-up woman isn't she and assuming she was as regular as clockwork- so why hadn't she realised she'd missed three periods?  Seemingly she and Dean are going for the 12-week scan, as was mentioned many times, when did that get sorted??   Didn't we see that in Wednesday's trailer, but it didn't happen last night so guessing it'll be happening tonight.   Mac was really, really excited, bless her.   It is an unwritten rule not to say anything - bad luck to spread the news before.    Very good point Ziggy saying Dean shouldn't tell Jai as of course he'll tell Amber which wouldn't go down well.

Well done John supporting Nik like he did, even had a joke.   Depends on how John can spin the GBB to the Committee, not as bad as being implicated in the whole bikie thing I guess.  The police, it seems, did a good job of getting them 'off' but without alerting the bikies of Tane and Nik's involvement - well Tane's involvement.   Flick picked up on Tane's unrest but was shocked when he said he wanted to sell up.  No-one apparently was said anything in court why the bikies did what they did, guess they are going for their own private revenge.

Ok was Mac having a bad day or something I thought she was a bitch towards Justin but at least with lyric getting sacked I don’t have to hear their cheesy songs anymore maybe Mac is glad about that too

Ok so I don’t really take notice of Dean these days but are we sure he knows about the birds and the bees or has he been adducted by aliens for a few years Now I haven’t got any babies but I know about morning sickness and yes they have equipment at the hospital to be able to head the baby heartbeat It will blow his tiny mind when they see the baby on a video in few months time

Uh-oh, Spaghetti-os! Justin's in it deep... He did it give a shot, and Leah IS partly to blame. And when's the last time Mac HAD a *good* day for that matter? She's should be in the soap Misery Hall of Fame next to Pauline Fowler and Gaby Willis!?

I'm sure Dean knows "What Goes Where", Willow and Amber could like attest (roll their eyes in the process) to that but may lack on other knowledge...

Based on recent rumbling don't count your chickens on everyone's "favorite" band...

Irene is going for lots of walks by the beach at the moment. I like her caring for Cash, Rose and Xander but it’s all a little contrived, she shows them more compassion than Marilyn who she now treats like Colleen.
