Meh, a full-fat band episode. I don't blame Theo for ditching the gig; KIrby agreeing to Bob doing a song without consulting the others was pretty off. Silver lining was that they called off the gig rather than letting Bob have the glory.

Kirby gets the lion's share of the blame for unilaterally agreeing to Bob singing with them and presenting it as a fait accompli to the rest of the band. But I wasn't impressed with Theo either for sulking and refusing to turn up, which meant letting a lot of people down.I do appreciate Remi and Eden's loyalty to him, and I think cancelling the gig was the better option than letting Bob take over, but they shouldn't have been put in that position. It felt like we skipped an important bit going from Justin saying he'd talk to Theo, to him turning up at Salt saying Theo wasn't coming.

Bree shouldn't be pressured into anything but it seemed like she wanted to go back to her old habit of being light and flirty with everyone and pretending Jacob doesn't exist.I don't think Remi said anything out of line and it's hard to "catch up with a friend", as Bree put it, if you're determined not to talk about he main thing going on in her life.I can understand Remi checking on her but getting her to invite him into her room is asking for trouble.

I continue to like John in the unlikely role of Cash's confidante but I'm not sure advising him to go behind Felicity's back with Gary is the best approach.

I’m sorry but this Bree story is stupid to have a story about abuse I think you should have the abuser around otherwise what is the point Having Bree dress up that fancy to go see the band or for Remi even I think she would be very scared or untrusting of people part of abuse surely is to make the person feel worthless and lose confidence and there at end do Remi and Bree sleep together if so she should be scared of the slightest touch I’m sorry I just think it’s very silly

They should have had Jacob just pretend to leave while really still being around spying on Bree

I just find her a big flirt and annoying haha

Then we would have seen that coming a mile off. I suppose they want to draw it out.

Bob knew what buttons to push with Kirby and he played games with Theo's head to make him doubt himself enough not to show.   As most of us thought it was down to the fact Bob's career isn't going well or more to the point not at all which is why he came back.  It was at the last moment he approached Remi and Eden as he had Kirby onside so she could argue his point for him.   He was very gloating when Justin told them Theo wasn't turning up and he took it upon himself to take over, they had reluctantly agreed he could paly the last song, but they turned on him reminding he isn't part of the band anymore so doesn't get  a vote.  Did Justin manage to get across to Bob he was manager?  Going back a bit what I think made Bob more determined to stir things was when he saw Theo and Kirby having a snog on the lawn.

It did seem we'd skipped a scene but then others may have said all it would have involved was Justin and Theo arguing to and fro whether he should go or not and Justin leaving for SALT without him anyway.   May not have ben very professional of them to walk out in solidarity of Theo, especially as it's Mac and Flick's business and they have lost money, we see the outcome of that tonight, but it did show Bob whose side they were on so yeh boo shucks to you Bob!

Remi had been trying to keep out of Bree's way, but she did wave to him on the beach instead of just looking at him and walking away so he thought it was 'safe' to approach her. It was giving mixed messages, she asked him for coffee, then shut him down when he mentioned the ? in the room.  He did, to his credit, say he'd walk away if he promised not to say the J word.  He is so invested in her, I'm even going to dare say he's in love with her, I don't think from what the others have said, he's been like that with anyone else.  I may have missed something but what changed  her mind  - was it because she thought I shouldn't be looking so forward to this without Jacob being here??  She did look stunning though.  He didn't 'get her' to ask him in she could have said no and he would have gone home.

Cash has worked out who this 'friend' of Eden's is, don't need to be a Colombo really, Remi had asked his advice, Eden speaking about a 'friend' then he saw Bree and Remi together. 2+2 = 4!  But unlike him dropping Marilyn in it by telling Roo where she was, he knows to keep quiet this time.

It is an unlikely friendship between John and Cash but rather sweet - unlikely phrase I know.  John did try and give advice when he saw how awkward Cash and Eden were when they passed each other but Cash shut him down.  How many rainchecks☔ do they owe each other?   It did sound like to me at least that Cash had been in touch with Gary before by the way he first spoke to him.  I do know who will be playing Gary but I'm saying nought as I'm not a spoiler. ??

Four episodes of Bob/the band on the trot, and I'm edging closer to the door again.

I'm not sure about the juxtaposition of the Bree/Jacob saga and the Bree/Remi one - is it a story about domestic abuse, or a story about Remi and Bree being destined for one another? Obviously it will probably end up both long-term, but there's too much emphasis on the latter at the moment. They're muddying the water because I feel like in sleeping with Bree, Remi is complicating things further, putting Bree at increased risk from Jacob (because of course he's going to find out) and arguably also taking advantage of her to an extent, when she's in an emotionally vulnerable place - whereas I feel like his focus ought have to been on platonic friendship and practical help for her. Because I still haven't really heard anyone actually discussing a sensible, detailed plan of action for how she's going to get out of the marriage. One step at a time, guys.

I'm not far behind.

I see Lyrik as equally pointless but Bob by far is the WORST, if that makes any sense.

Today's was 21 Mins of straight Yaketty Yak!?

In the early years, Theo would have unplugged to drown out or "Chipmunked" Bob's mic while one of the others untuned his guitar, making him look silly.?

Hell, I'd even take Pippa fronting the Summer Bay City Rollers over this shower.

We need to see Jacob actually harm her though I think at moment it just feels like she’s fed up with him and his abit jealous because of it for a abuse story it’s totally tosh
