Skye Peters.  I thought she had real potential but after a couple of tortured storylines was unceremoniously shuffled out the door.

Grant Mitchell (The one with hair lol). He was supposed to be a smash hit, Craig McLachlan had gone out of his way to play a more "mature" role after clowning around on Neighbours as Henry for three years (I liked that character better anyhow). It was supposed to be a big deal after Neighbours had a raft exits in the back half of 1989 with him joining the "enemy camp" but Grant despite getting in the mix with the locals and having serious storylines (Accused of Molestation all because he rejected Vicki, The Jane stuff, the Kim stuff) he just didn't quite work the way McLachlan or the producers wanted.

At the top of my head - Skye, Oscar, Hannah, Spencer, Jai, Geoff, Annie, Ryder, Kyle (kinda...I feel like they wanted him to be different from the Braxtons but he was exactly the same as it went on).

Jai would have stayed if Jordan didn't take the Dance Academy role and he and Miles could have been close as Pip and Sal.

Kyle was a Bennett to start with but quickly changed his name within eps and with Danny Braxton's DNA coursing your veins, it's to hard to escape!

It was actually Fiona Space choice to leave and she said interview that she wanted to move to Melbourne and thought show was only going last couple of years.

I think Celia was type character that did not too much of storyline’s as she definitely was type character that work well as town figure.

I love that quote when Ailsa said to Alf that Barbara is  most normal one out of you  sisters .

I think Alf thought so too as notched in early years that  Alf quiet often spoken down to Celia and Morag and not with Barbara .

It really threw Alf when Babs was Donny's secret poisoner in '96 though!

Alison Patterson. Then again she was so unlikeable, the character had no more mileage left in her and she was alienated by the community so did a bunk and has never return, although practically half her family have featured since, her cousin Vinnie etc.

Well as of 2000, she was last heard to "have gotten her s*** together". (Sal non-wedding week)

Narelle Smart. Her exit was just terrible.

I suspect she was meant to be around for longer, but it never eventuated for some reason.

I just googled the actress and according to her IMDB, Amanda returned to H&A in 2016 as Judy McWalters, but that character doesn't ring any bells for me.

Wow, I didn't know that at all! Checking my notes, she was an estate agent who showed Ricky and Nate around a property, which was also looked at by Tori in one of her first scenes.

Simon Fitzgerald. The actor who played him had been on Neighbours so they probably thought they'd signed up a new hunk. Apart from a storyline where he pretended to be the father of Sophie's baby for about 5 minutes, I don't remember him doing anything of note. They soon moved him once Shane, Damien, Tug et al came on the scene.

I know she’s still in the show…but the new Roo Stewart

I feel she hasn’t accomplished much at all in the last 12 years. She doesn’t have a strong character like Alf, Irene, Maralyn, Palmer and Leah. I feel like they were planning on her eventually becoming principal and then running the school for years like Don Fisher. Now she’s doing tutoring for some ridiculous reason.

Jade Sutherland, she never really got a huge storyline during her years and always seemed Kirsty and Dani had way bigger storylines like With Kane etc. and the way they wrote her of like she found out she was switched at birth and then she went into some phase influenced by duncan and then left.

also Lucas Holden, Narelle Smart, April Scott, Skye Peters, Hannah Wilson, Kyle Braxton, Edward Dunglass, Peta Janossi
