I don’t think Luke is that bad at his acting he hasn’t really done anything that exciting with Xander yet though 

The person playing Bree though I think she’s quite weak at her acting skills

I agree he's better at Salt. I think they only made him a paramedic because Jasmine was a nurse and once she left so suddenly they didn't know what to do with him. He's also one of those characters who always feel like a background character even when they get storylines. It's a pity Jasmine's name is not allowed to be mentioned on the show because it would've been nice to find out how he felt about her just abandoning him.
