What an old storyline they could use that hasn't been overdone?

Lot of times we see a storyline and we all groan it has been overdone (which it has). But when a show has been going for 35 years they are going to recycle storylines. 

So, what is something they could reuse that hasn't been overdone either?

Too weird. Having a sister turning out as a mother is almost as weird as Alf's previous wife Martha coming back from the dead and marrying Alf "again".

Home And Away has been going on waaaayyy too long. 35 years is plainly ridiculous. It ran its time 20 years ago

Tbf, that kind of mess was commonplace in real life in bygone times:

if an unwed teen girl wound up in "the family way" (consensual or otherwise, in the case of Ruby's conception) to avoid scandal/shame/probing/etc, the family would take off for a while then return and the parents would raise child as their own or kid would be bundled off to the girl's older married sibling or another relative, and raised as theirs.

10,000+ eps may be tricky. Ep 1 gets rolled out every anniversary.

Some are on DVD in a few decade comps but there are biiiig gaps.

I think older man younger woman (like Tony/ Rachel) or older woman younger man (Kim/ Rachel). I would like to see actual relationship not fling like Charlotte/Matt and Casey/Henry.
