I'm going to add McKenzie and Logan to this I was absolutely loving Logan was damn shame his time was cut short they were a couple i was invested in and it been very long time since I've said that.  I understand the real reasons why but it very disappointing I'm just going have try tell myself at least Logan didn't stay around to the point I couldn't stand him. Would love a return some day.

hmm its a hard one, some couples i wish were endgame were

- obviously Nick and Jade, they were my favourites back in the day and when they broke up it broke me as well as Jade then getting with Seb, Nicks best friend

- Aden and Belle, I used to not be the biggest Aden fan but his and Belles relationship was great and obviously its inevitable Belles dead but in some way I still miss them but I feel like Belles death felt like an open ending for them I feel like because this was the high of their relationship and then finding out Belle is dying was a major obstacle for them to come to terms with and I loved how Aden really wanted the best for Belle and what she wanted in her final moments.

- Martha and Jack, see I loved them as a couple but I didn't really like their dynamic in the period where when they were not together which is understandable to say the least but when they got back together I was somewhat iffy it felt like a very different relationship to the one they had before to me atleast and then Jack dying. rip Jack

Beth and Tony they felt like such normal couple and maybe if Clarissa had extended her contact for couple more years they could left together once all there kids were gone.

I think if Beth had stayed she would become other Forster mum to teenagers.

If we're talking about people you wish were a couple but weren't canon then Kit and Noah.If you've been around long enough you know I'm gonna die on this hill lol.

The only two I can think of at the top of my head who have been together are Mac and Logan. She's absolutely insufferable with Levi and there's not a spark to be seen for miles.

I feel like there had already been several couplings in that group that I never really cared for any of the pairings. Seb and Nick had both dated Kirsty and Jade, and then Jade had been with Seb, Nick and Duncan. I'm sure other teen groups weren't much better, but maybe it was the fact that Jade and Kirsty were sisters and Duncan and Seb were second cousins that made all the pairings seem worse.

Shane and Angel. Yet he was killed off and Angel got with boring and forgettable Alex.

I don't even remember her getting with Alex. I just remember her leaving with Simon.

I assume the producers would have known Melissa George wanted to leave by that point, so they could have either written her out a few months earlier with Shane, or had a situation where he had to leave the bay and then she followed later. I guess with the latter they'd have to explain why Shane couldn't return for the birth of his daughter.

Another one for me is John and Marilyn - I really liked Marilyn's energy and John's grumpiness/lack of enthusiasm at times. They seemed to complement each other well. I'm still frustrated they aren't back together yet and that neither character has really developed or had any noteworthy relationships since as a result. Their separation just felt pointless.

Seb was Duncan's first cousin once removed. Little surprised didn't mention Kirsty marrying and having a son with her sister rapist from that time period. And in the end Kirsty and Jade weren't sisters but that was stupid

I mean going ahead in time we had Ric who was with Cassie ,Belle and Matilda

Lucas who was with Matilda, Belle and that chick who his dad was with can't remember who was with her first

Drew was with Belle and her mum who was also his uncle's ex wife that his dad had affair with and eventually married. Amanda also dated Scott then married his grandfather

Was a pretty icky period of bed hopping not to mention Cassie being with a women hitter and a rapist

That really was the most pointless and ridiculous storyline H&A did up to that point - pointless in that the same exit could have been achieved without it, and ridiculous because the "twin telepathy" connection (for lack of a better term!) had already been established on many occasions. She could have left with Seb or even just moved to "the city" with Kit without the need for cutting the family off.

I didn't really have strong feelings on that group of teenagers or the couplings, but that made me really mad at the time.

I did think the same at the time. But having ruminated on this a bit over the years, since 'twin telepathy' is BS anyway, I guess it might as easily be explained by environmental factors (growing up together in close proximity) as biological ones?
